This stereo is great! It greatly improves the sound quality of whatever you listen to through stock car speakers because of its 13 band graphic equalizer. Also, it’s Bluetooth functions work well, allowing you to make calls and access your contact library from it. Also, for the car I put it in, the new setup gives me a bit more space than the stock stereo. Also, it’s very versatile for a wide range of devices.

Bought a Pioneer DEH-6220BS to replace an Alpine CD receiver I had installed 10 years ago. I wanted the phone connectivity the Alpine lacked plus more tone control options to get a fuller sound. I had also previously replaced my factory speakers with JL Audio. Anyway, the Pioneer deck delivers in spades. (It took 10 minutes for the Geek Squad to install it.) The Pioneer comes with a Smart System app for your phone that makes set-up much easier than going through all the menus on the deck, and there are many different ways to tailor the sound--2 levels of Bass boost, 2 levels of Loudness (Bass and treble boost for lower volume listening, a Sound Retrieval mode to bring out the best in lower-bit mp3s, plus 31 pre-set equalizer settings and the ability to create your own. Because I've only had the deck for 2 weeks and there are so many options, I haven't got everything completely nailed down soundwise, but the wound is more dynamic than the Alpine, and getting there is half the fun. Also enjoyed being able to set the display color to orange to match my Nissan nighttime instrumentation.

I wanted an old school look and feel in my older car. No touch screen. No double din. No blinding light. It was just what I was looking for. A plus to it was that it’s wireless Bluetooth so music can play right from my phone with no wires. Great unit

Radio sounds clean and has strong preouts. Measured 4.6 volts clean @ vol. 61 with all processsing off with my SMD DD1+. Also does 3 way active which makes this hu a great choice if looking to build a nice system in a older vehicle.

I love my new stereo. It has a CD player and several different sound settings. It’s Crystal clear and works perfectly.

It's a little hard to figure out at first. I just wanted an am/fm radio and a cd player. Nowadays, you get so many other digital features that make getting to the simple radio difficult. Otherwise, the radio and cd player work well.

This Pioneer does the job. I only paid about 125 for it. It has great sound and is pretty easy to figure out. The buttons on it are pretty small and don't feel like high quality, but for the car (an old one) that I put it into, it will do just fine. Next time, I will pay extra for the one that is twice as wide.

Fantastic head unit. I had a comparable Sony model and I switched it out for this, so glad I did. Sound is much better, LED color matching is awesome, and the equalizer gives worlds more control than the Sony unit. For the same price, this is in a whole different class than the Sony.

This deck is extremely functional and easy to set up and use. The Bluetooth functionality works very well, automatically connects to your phone and you get crisp, clear phone calls and music too. The sound quality is great, it pumps a ton of power through even my stock speakers.

This is a very good unit. Simple to install and setup. Great volume and clear sound. Installed in old truck with loud exhaust and lots of road noise. This unit will provide enough volume to hear at highway speeds.

Service / Install techs were amazing. They took time to explain, give feedback from their experiences & recommendations for best value to get the quality & features including the CD player that I needed. They did not try to up-sell me more than I needed & suggested I wait to get new speakers until they installed this. When they installed it, they did initial setup & gave a quick "how to" since there are many great features. Product sounds great (without replacing speakers), has a nice look, and is not bad navigating. Like any new device it takes a bit to get familiar with it. Would DEFINITELY recommend it and ABSOLUTELY take advantage of the free install. Techs were 5 STARS all the way!!!

I have an old 66 truck and someone had already cut out the dash for the head unit, so I was looking for the cleanest looking replacement I could find. And aside from my dream of all touch screen, single-din, this is it. Be forewarned...most of these name-brand units have a deep menu system, but I'm more about setting and forgetting, and making sure the features I need daily aren't buried 4 menus deep. I think this does a fine job, and would recommend it in your next hotrod build. Having the CD player is also a great throw-back feature.

Live this stereo ad I can connect my phone with the blue tooth which I couldn’t with my old one. Easy to use. It looks very elegant and the colors are cool. I’d recommend this steroid to whoever is looking for something not too technical.

This product is so good that my first radio got stolen from my car when it got broken into. I bought the exact same radio again and is pretty neat . Sound is great and easy to use. Hopefully they don’t steal it again !
