The progression of the characters is season 4 is a little slow. It just seemed like, where they were at the end of season 3 and where they are now at the end of season 4, is the same place. Not enough happened in season 4 as far as conflict. I also would've thought Al Capone's progression would've started to take place a little faster. Overall I still enjoy the show and will look forward to what season 5 has in store.

So far I have watched Seasons 1-2, and am looking forward to seasons 3-4 which I do own on blu ray. A good show complimented by Blu ray tech which helps the sound and hearing the dialogue. Anything else go to IMDB to read about the episodes. The acting is solid and the show continues to deliver a good escape from the real world into the past.

I've enjoyed this series very much over the multiple seasons but it seems like it might be running out of steam. Still enjoyable but doesn't beat the first season. If you are a follower definitely buy it but not the first season I'd go with even if on sale ( I sometimes will buy a second or third season just to check it out if the price is right).

'Boardwalk Empire' is still a great show with top notch acting, cinematography, production design, costumes, etc. However, by this point in the series the plot is beginning to wear a little thin and the threads are coming undone a bit.

I really like boardwalk empire I like the era of the 1920's I like that it is suppose to take place in Atlantic city at the time of the prohibition era and the actors are good. It is a good series of gangsters and good action.

Bought this Fourth Season set as a Christmas present for my youngest son since we watched and thoroughly enjoyed most of the episodes contained in it at his home. (He already had seasons 1 & 2)

I've been hooked on this series since the get-go. While the story lines have lagged a bit since season two, the cinematography, and overall execution of this period piece keep me watching.

The show was great. I was disappointed in the pricce. I had looked this up online before going to the store. You charged me $5 more in the store than you advertised on BestBuy.com.

Overshadowed by Game of Thrones, but this is still one of HBO's best. Everyone is perfect in their roles. Excellent blu-ray set with a load of extra features.

Excellent set; sorry HBO stopped including DVDs with their combo sets, as I use to buy them before this year. Digital code worked well and Blu-rays clean.

Boardwalk Empire is show That I can never get enough of. The cast is remarkable as is the writing. It is a shame that the show is over after this season

This continues to be a well written show, with good acting and directing. The set and costume designs are very good and Steve Buscemi rocks!

Not the best season of this show, but by far better than most other programming on TV. Since the Sopranos, this comes the closest.

This is probably the weakest season of boardwalk as the show begins putting people in there final places before the end

This is great if you still do not own blu ray, but if you do, get the bluray version and get the digital copy to watch on the go.

I'm finished with the series that is out and am anxious for the final season to come out in DVD. Too bad its its last season.

This was another solid season of the show. I'm bummed that the set didn't come with DVDs as well like previous seasons did.

Boardwalk Empire is one of the best shows I've ever seen! I love that time period and all the gangsters! A must watch!

Series continues to unfold with interesting twists and turns, that makes you wait expectantly for the next season.

The content is great but I wish HBO didn't cheap on the packaging and kept it consistent with previous seasons.
