Very useful, durable; easy to use once you read the manual. It picks up the dog hair wonderfully. I live in country so I have to check more often for full basin and that the rollers are hair free. It really works very well. I did so much searching and getting help with this choice, I'm glad this was deal of the day. It is loud but have learned to block it out.

Bought this when it was heavily discounted (~$500 off) and I can say that even at that price I would not reccomend this if you're wanting a good cover of the whole room. It doesnt actually learn your house like similar robot vacuums from other brands, and instead just drives forward until it hits a wall and then it just turns slightly. It does do a pretty decent clean of the areas it does get to which is why I didn't rate it lower.

I have had bob for over a year now and in that time I have had the battery replaced once. Other than that I love bob. He cleans up pet hair very thoroughly and saves me the hassle of having to do it. HE does some times get stuck but that's either because he's the perfect height to go under counters or the fact I have lips going into or from the kitchen. Haven't used the mop feature but his brushes work well. Sometimes he slams into objects but that's to be expected. He isn't perfect but definitely does a good job cleaning up pet hair. Customer service was great when I had to get the battery replaced. No complaints other than he gets stuck and sometimes can't find his charger.

The bObsweep price was exceptionally low on black friday. However, after using it I was disappointed in the random cleaning it did, the direction it vacuumed was never consistantly thourough. I also found it getting stuck under low chairs, and electrical wires. This meant I had to oversee it so that I could release it if it did get stuck. Empting it was just okay. It came with a small brush to clean out the dirt drawer, and some areas were difficult to get to in order to clean it out. The brush broke on the second time it was used.. Because it didn't exactly run on its own, it actually took more time to vacuum than if I used a regular vacuum. It takes a long time to charge once the battery dies. The charge lasts about an hour.

I love bob, and the bObsweep family! I’ve had mine for 2 years now! And haven’t been happier, bob does what you need, and when you need it with an easy to use interface, and easy to make daily Schedule For bob! And the customer service is beyond incredible! I’m not sure if people get different agent’s, but I’ve had to send mine in twice now to be fixed due to just an overuse problem! Once for a stuck tire and one for a tired battery, both times I was given the same agent (Ricky), making it feel very personable. First time my vacuum was fixed and sent back within two weeks. The second time I sent it in they sent me a Brand new Bob in a week, with new brushes too! Just some of the best customer service! On top of all that, I rarely have a problem with my Vacuum, “bob” always makes it back to his charging station doesn’t need to be emptied after every run as his dustbin is huge! And never sucks up any of my dogs toys laying around the house, does a great job at avoiding them instead. And yet quite enough that even my dog doesn’t freak out!

I have two Saint Bernhard/Newfoundland mixes, both 120 pounds with lots of long black hair. Years ago i tried one of the original Rumba's and it died within 5 minutes due to dog hair wrapped around the brush. The bObSweep Pet Hair Plus will actually pick up most of the hair as long as i run it every couple of days. I does get stuck under the couch so we need to monitor it, but overall it does a decent job on our hardwood floors.

Great reliable vacuum that runs every night and picks up all of the dirt left by the pets, including hair, treat crumbs, dried mud and more. Easy to set a daily schedule and then just let it do its thing! Once finished, Bob returns to the docking station, charges, and heads back out on the next scheduled run. Includes a built-in UV light to kill germs left on the floor. Any unexpected problems and you can rely on the excellent customer service from the Bob team. After running Bob almost every single day for a year, the battery died and had to be replaced. Ordered a new battery and without even asking, Bob team sent a new battery at no charge since it was still covered under warranty! Popped in the new battery and Bob went back to work cleaning the floors. Very easy to use and does an excellent job cleaning the floors.

I purchased the Bobs Pet Plus and it works like a charm. On the first time through the house, it picked up dust I had no idea was there. It got under the bed and couch but does get stuck at one particular area in the kitchen. The block can be used to stop it from going in that area. It is a powerful vacuum. It does have a hard time getting back to its base on a regular basis.

Works good, great cleaning. But a few issues are like little bumps or if you have a lot of chairs it gets stuck. Value at full price I would give 2 stars, value at sales price 50% off gets 4stars.

Great Vacuum! bObsweep goes DEEP into my carpet to get out dirt and cat hair everywhere. Only problem is he gets confused sometimes and recleans the same spot or he'll get caught on the edge of a rug or in between chairs and can't find his way out. You must block these tight entry ways otherwise he'll spin his wheels round and round before he might figure it out.

    I love my Bob

I absolutely love my Bob. Not only does this machine work extra hard with the mass amount of cat hair and dog hair all over my house, it is incredibly easy to use, set up and clean between each use. I have a lot of cats and a giant dog and they all shed like you would not believe and this little guy goes running around the house and picks up everything. Bob arrives in a box with an extra roll brush, tools to clean it out, a proprietary mini screwdriver that is just basically sicker than a normal one that fits into the screws they use, and a color matched blocker device (This is a device with a little red light that you can set up to prevent Bob from going past that red light ray. You would use this to block Bob from particular rooms, hallways areas, etc. And you can purchase additional blocks if you like.) Of all the Bobsweep machines this one has strongest suction and the dustbin container is much larger than the Slam**. [**I bought the Slam to try it out, because it integrated with the app, but I had to return it. Not because it was a bad item, but because it is not built for someone with massive amounts of pet hair. The slam is more medium duty I would say, but it also has the mop feature that actually has a mop water container, which is something that my Bob does not have so that’s kind of cool.] Beside the fact that these machines are well-built, and have a good warranties on them, most important part next to that is the customer service from this company. It is stellar (and unique). When you buy your Bob, he arrives with a little cute, baby birth certificate, attached to his box. When you are talk to (or email with) someone at the Bobsweep company, they talk about your Bob vacuum like he is a real living thing. It’s quite unusual, but endearing in my opinion. The follow up is top notch. If something goes wrong or are you just have questions about how to operate your Bob or even if you just want to call them and talk about your Bob, they will walk you through steps to troubleshoot with an actual human being on the phone and listen to any feedback or suggestions you have. Then they will follow up after a phone call to make sure everything is OK. In addition, their user manual was updated and it is very easy to read, colorful, not too big and not too little. They did a really good job with it.

    Don't Buy This Vacuum

I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. I would return it, but bought it for my daughter as a gift, and had it in my closet too long before giving it to her, and now it's too late to return. I contacted Best Buy to see if they would make an exception, but they would not. This vacuum just randomly goes around, and therefore misses many areas. It also doesn't do a very job of picking up all the dirt in the areas that it does hit, so my daughter has to go around and vacuum when it's finished, as there is still tons of dirt on the floor. It also continually has trouble getting back to it's charger on its own, and there is plenty of space around the charger. Additionally, every time you want to clean the main brush and the side brush you have to remove the screws. I would highly recommend the robot vacuum that I and my other daughter have, but it is against the rules to name it here. I have had mine for almost 2 years, and my other daughter has had hers for about as long. It covers every square inch of the house, as it maps out the house and knows where it has and hasn't been. It even shows you a map in the app! It is easy to clean...no screws to remove. I do not use a regular vacuum at all...my robot vacuum is all I need, even when my 3 grand-dogs are staying at my house. I will be purchasing another one to replace this Bobsweep one.

BoB does a fairly good job - some issues with getting stuck under kitchen cabinets (may be specific to my household, 2cm either way would eliminate the issue). Not impressed with BoB's wet/cleaning mode - results seem superficial surface only. Overall, does a great job and collects a lot while roaming the household!

We purchased this for our new home which has a combination of tile and carpeted floors. Bobs cleaning patterns are able to navigate the floor types and rooms very well. It does not learn the floor plan or memorize, but it does find all the areas over time. We use it a few times a week to supplement weekly vacuuming, usually running for 2-3 hours per session. When it stops, we find that it is either full or has been stopped by an obstruction. Cleaning the brushes, hopper and rollers is needed after each "run" to keep it performing as expected. Over all, this has been a great addition to keep up with dust, hari and crumbs created by kids and dogs.

The little robot is a hard worker and does what mfg claim. It has many clean modes and goes to town when unleashed. It gets stuck on furniture legs from time to time but will free itself if allowed to do so. Maintenance is very easy, good cleaning of the wheels and under surface periodically. I’m very happy.

I got this a little less than a month ago. I have to admit that I haven't finished reading the manual. It seems to do a good job where it covers, but it's coverage pattern is really weird and I'm never sure that it's actually completed a room. Also, I have rugs with fringe and they don't get along... just like all vacuums and rugs with fringe. The difference is that when I'm vacuuming, I can see the fringe and avoid it and this can't. What I do really like is that I can put it in the bathroom where my litter box is and put it on quick clean and shut the door. I go back 15 or 20 minutes later and it's litter and cat hair free. It's easy to do that every day.

The vacuum works as it’s supposed to, returning to the charger when the battery runs down. But it seems to get hung up in certain areas (table and chair legs in my dining area), and missing other, more significant places, like the living room area. I’ve only had it a little less than a month, so we’ll see if it “learns” the route.

We've been eyeing getting a robot vacuum for some time because we have 2 large dogs that shed a lot and are tired of pulling the vacuum out 3-4 times a week. Got this robot vacuum on a Deal of the Day and currently have it set up for 3x a week on the deep clean setting. So far so good! With this vacuum running through the main parts of the house, we only have to vacuum once a week with our upright vacuum to manage the dog hair. It snagged on our kitchen rugs a couple times but the troubleshooting was easy as it displayed what's wrong on the screen. It doesn't like a higher pile rug that isn't a tight knit. So we opted to get rid of the rugs in the kitchen and got mats instead, which we were planning on doing anyway. Would definitely recommend, however, the normal price point on this vacuum is high. If you see it on sale, definitely get it!

Easy to set up, sturdy and works wonders in picking up pet hair and fine dust. Little noisy but it is the vacuum power that is needed to do the job. Love the easy-to-use options for cleaning rooms and the remote, which I prefer over an app.
