Wasn't sure what to expect...absolutely love it! Turn it on when I have an hour or more of errands - come home to completely vacuumed apartment!

Bob is not perfect. But Bob is a big help in a consistently applied program of regular vacuuming and removal of all obstacles in his path. Also, note that Bob is powerful. If he snags on your favorite light's power cord, he might just pull it down. But don't despair, if the globe shatters in small pieces, he will pick them up. Bob likes to push around office chairs on rollers when they impede his relentless search to eradicate all dirt in his chosen path. While his sensors will stop him at the top of the stairs, he can still push that chair right over the edge. Although Bob is powerful he can be tamed by the skimpiest throw rug. Remove them from his path or he will go on strike and refuse to even move unless you intervene. Like any vacuum with a brush that turns, Bob will find the strings in your threadbare rugs. He will tear them out and wind them up before he throws a tantrum and stops until his demands that you pull them out are met. Nonetheless, I love my Bob's, both the Pet Hair and the original!

Got Bobsweep PetHair Plus Robot Vaccuum and Mop in Charcoal as a Deal of the Day. It seems to do a really nice job by the tank I empty. He does seem to have trouble finding the docking station so I usually have to pick him up and put him back on. I might try a new location. I haven't had a chance to try the mop feature yet.

I ran my Bob after using my regular vacuum and was shocked at how much debris was picked up. He does get stuck sometimes or a little lost but I just give him a nudge and he’s back on his merry way. Not worth the regular price but well worth the deal of the day price. I have not used the mopping function yet.

This may work better for some folks, but it hasn't quite worked out for us. It misses a lot of hair and never seems to be able to get around unattended. It either gets stuck or gives up trying to find the charger.

2 year review: Bob has been cleaning my house for the last couple of years and doing a fantastic job on wood, tile, and carpeted floors! I have a toddler, and can vouch that Bob's cheerio capacity is larger than my kiddo's ability to drop them! Lately, I noticed he only had 10 minutes of oomph before he would head back to his charger. Not an ideal situation. I reached out to the company and found out that they have a 2 year warranty on the battery. Carlo fixed me up with a new battery in no time, with no hassle! I have had more than a few robots over the years, and Bob just keeps impressing me!

I love my Bobsweep. It sweeps up large areas with no problem and vacuums carpeted areas as well. My only issue is it will continue to work in one area continuously. So I need to determine how I can help it better maneuver the areas but other than that I love it. I plan on giving a couple as presents

The Pet Hair Plus is the best robot vacuum ever!! We previously had another brand and it in no way compared. This vacuum picks up everything and has a larger bin so we are not constantly coming home to our floors half done because the robots bin was full. There is nothing sweeter than knowing your floors will always be spotless! We have a toddler and our bobsweep gives me piece of mind when she's wanting to crawl everywhere. Total game changer for our household especially with the new mop feature!! My only regret is not getting it sooner!!

Bobsweep is definitely like a child and needs constant watch. He is like a child in there terrible twos, always needing watching to make sure they don’t damage anything. He has no clue where he is ever going, many times just going in circles and cleaning over the same area. He is not smart and takes a long time to return to his charging base. Bob is louder then expected and considering the high price, I would have expected more features and better hardware. For the deal of the day price, bob definitely works but not ever at the full price. After only one hour of use, bob already had surface scratches all over the top of the unit from going under the furniture and getting stuck and not moving away but would just return to the same spot again. The remote for bob is huge and outdated looking for todays times. Bob does a good job at getting the little crumbs and pet hair but I would not recommend for someone who wants a vacuum to clean when they are away. I would never trust this to clean when not home as I fear it would do something stupid or get stuck and rip the carpet or just go back and forth over the same spots.

The vacuum has a multitude of convenient features. You can set it to turn itself on for certain days/times; it comes with a remote; it comes with a wireless "barricade" to keep it away from certain areas. The down fall is that it doesn't navigate over rugs very well--even flatter sturdier ones. Anything thin or fringey is absolutely out of the question.

I have had many robot vacuums in the past and a lot of them, at the very least, knows how to return to the dock. This one however, tends to get so lost all the time that it runs out of battery. The worst part is that it was on sale from $800?!?! You mean you want someone to pay $800 for a 2015 technology that has the worst mapping, doesn't have an app, and barely knows how to return to charger when battery is almost dead?? Definitely not worth the headache of getting this thing

I bought this for my mom's birthday. I set it up and have it run daily at 10 am. It's a great device, and easy to set up. It did get stuck underneath the bed once. However, we used the device that comes with it to make sure it doesn't happen again. Overall, it's worth it!

Powerful. Does a good job cleaning. Wish it was quieter.

I leave this vacuum on and come back to find my living room wood floor all clean and shiny. Vacuum goes back to charging station on it's own and be ready to be used again is such an smart function. Only problem is that it's very loud so I can not use it when we are home. Only as we are leaving the house.

I was honestly very disappointed with this product. It kept getting stuck when moving from hardwood floors to carpet, and even rugs. It is very loud as well. It also has trouble finding its way back to its charging station and even scratched the charger itself because it couldn’t seem to properly align itself to charge.

It would be great for an empty room but it gets stuck in very simple places with any furniture and proceeds in a study of Einstein’s definition of insanity, repeating the same maneuvers over and over and can’t seem to figure out how to proceed. The same square foot is really clean though. There needs to be an update to the program to recognize when it’s stuck in a loop and initiate alternative maneuvers after a few attempts. I have a video I’ll try to upload here. The idea of it cleaning while away is great, but this needs constant supervision to lift it and put it on a new tack.

Bob does a good job cleaning but gets stuck a lot under the edges of my kitchen cabinets. When it does I just need to retrieve it and send it back to its charger. I thought it would be “smarter” as in remembering areas that it got stuck in before but it really just bumps it’s way around until it covers the area and the battery starts to get low.

This is my first bot so nothing to compare to. I like not sweeping but there's no way it gets the whole floor with such random patterns. No matter which setting it is on, it wanders aimlessly. Sometimes I find it in the middle of the floor turned off--it's supposed to return to base. Absolutely a rip off at $800, but the 200 deal of the day was "OK".

Does a very good job on sweeping all floors; carpet, wood and tile. Bought it for my beach house. We have a shedding dog now and then. Mostly shedding now and NOW! Ms. Hazel BObsweep has delivered us our cleanest floors ever. It is so easy to put her to task. So much easier than pulling out the upright! Unlike Mr. and Mrs. B's Domestic Engineer, this one requires some supervision. She can get bogged down in some circumstances, and she'll even bump into something, and flip her On/Off switch. I like the Auto-Restart feature, which I'll use when I know I'll be home after a 4 hr. recharge. Empty the bin after every use, and dust the filter for best results. You still need a broom for corners. Great buy!

Works great however it does get stuck & can't work itself free.
