    I purchased this robot vacuum so excitedly. It was the deal of the day and I jumped on it. It was from $800 down to $180. The packaging was beautiful and dedicated to our family. Setting it up was very easy and instructions were easy to understand. When I tried this product in my kitchen/dining room (were most mess is on floor), to my huge disappointment it couldn’t find its way out of under the table and around the chairs. It kept going around in circles. It never crossed from dining room into kitchen on its own. We had to guide it with the remote control. I had to stand there watching it and guiding it, which made me think, how is this any different from me using my Dyson?! The point was for it to save me time and more work. Then I was noticing not everything on the floor was being picked up, so I thought maybe I hadn’t set it up right. Seems to me the tile in my kitchen has deep groves and the robot vacuum not enough power to pick that up? Then I had it head to base and it couldn’t find it! After wasting my time I picked it up myself and set it on the base. Again, that’s not the point is it? I left it aside hoping to call Bobsweep Customer Service and to my surprise they are only open Mon-Frid 8-5. Well turns out my busy schedule is around that time and not only Mon-Fri but Saturday also. I never got a chance to call them so back to the store it went. I explained the situation to Best Buy and they were nice enough to make an exception for me since I had bought this over 3 months ago. I got store credit and I’m a happy Best Buy customer!! :)

    Look Elsewhere

    When opening the package, I was really impressed by Bob. First off, he was sleek and red (to match me and my kids), and he looked easy enough to use. But the first time (and every time after) we used him he was insanely LOUD. Yes, so loud that we decided to use him only when we're getting ready in the morning, so that it's second alarm clock in a way. Bob's up - gotta get the day started. (We pick up every night to make sure no obstacles are in his way. We have concrete floors with a couple low pile rugs. His base is set up correctly with 10' in front and 2' min on each side.) But now we can't even let him clean unsupervised. He gets stuck on everything/anything and has a hard time returning to his base. He gets stuck on the kitchen mat, behind the buffet, and behind the Christmas tree. Not stuck on or under - just can't seem to find his way out... We bought a couple roombas back in 2009/2010 that we loved and figured technology would have improved since then, but no luck. Bob is being returned - he can't live with us if he can't be trusted to do his job without someone constantly supervising.

    Don't Waste Your Money

    I have had other robot vacuums in the past and was pleased, specifically Roomba. I thought I would jump back into the robot vacuum world after a few year hiatus. I purchased the bObsweep. Where do I start? It works a 900 sq foot area or smaller. -It didn't even get through one room without dying. It literally will stay in one room vacuuming 200 sq feet and die. -It has never returned back to it's docking station in 10 runs. If you like Hide and Seek, this is your robot. -It runs on days where it isn't programmed to run -It ran ever day at 2am, 1am, 3am, etc. I am tech savvy, no excuses. This machine just doesn't do its job. Today it ran at 12pm, and I have it set to run at 11am. Yes, the hours are set correct and I know what military time is.

    I read the reviews and was encouraged about the product. I have 3 large dogs and wanted something to supplement my vacuuming. While I didn't expect this vacuum to take over the chore or be perfect, I was hoping for it to work. I have yet to have one complete vacuum session without encountering errors. My bObsweep errors out multiple times and I spend more time troubleshooting than anything else. I attempted to return it, but found out there is a 15 day return policy. I am now stuck with it, so I am discouraged by the purchase, because I really wanted to like, if not love this product. Unfortunately, it really has not lived up to the hype.....or other reviews.

    This was our first robot vacuum purchase and it was on sale so we figured we would give it a try. Once you open the box, there is still some assembly required. I put everything together and put it on the charging base as stated in the instructions. The next morning the robot still hasn't charged, but the charge light indicates it is still charging. Plug the robot up directly and about three hours later it completed the charge. Now we start the cleaning process which is very loud! We have hardwood floors and a couple of very low pile drop carpets and the robot got stuck on the very first carpet! Picked it up and moved it and when it came back to the carpet it made over, but the side brush stopped working. I was done after this second attempt and bought the Roomba instead and we haven't had a single issue. If you decide to buy this vacuum, I would not run it while I was not at home.

    I was in store, researching robot vacuums, and the salesperson told me about the deal on the Bobsweep. He said "Try it, if you hate it you can always return it"... and that I did! I returned the same day it arrived. In 25 minutes of cleaning, it got stuck on a lamp cord, 3 transitions (normal in houses), in a corner, and on a rug. I took it back and purchased a Neato D5. It did the entire first level and the only thing it got stuck on, was a piece of wire that someone had dropped (expected). I imagine the bobsweep to be like the original Roomba. Its probably fine if you have all hardwood floors with no transitions or rugs. Overall I absolutely do not recommend this to anyone!

    This is the dumbest smart vacuum ive ever seen. It takes hours too vacuum a room because it goes in circles over and over and over again. I cant even explain the movement and how it missed obvious pieces on the floor but everything else was clean. Took 2 full charges and 3 hours too vacuum a room and i had too monitor it the entire time. And i still had too pick up little pieces it missed. And if i thought i was wrong or mistaken it was confirmed at the store when someone described how it worked exactly like this. And said they returned theirs too..Sorry bob but you suck!

    If crazy is doing the same thing over and over this vacuum is crazy. Constantly going back to the area rug it gets stuck on or the cabinet it gets stuck under. It’s slightly larger than my cabinets overhang in the kitchen so it gets stuck before in senses it shouldn’t go under it. Constantly pulling it off of the area rugs in our house. We have hardwood floors with very large area rugs. Seems to miss any spot that it won’t get stuck on and goes back to the ones it will repeatedly. Very frustrating to watch and continually get unstuck. I will return this item.

    Complete waste money

    I purchase the Robot on sale price. I thought it will work well, it's my first Robot Vacuum. The Robot is noisy, not clean well as the ad shows, stuct in the kitchen and coach. Always die before the battery run out on the carpet . It deliveried on June 4, but I was not at home, got it until June 17. I only use 3 times until today July 22. Every time the Robot die before clean all rooms. And I cant return it as aleady past 1 month returning period. It completely waste money and time. How come the original price could be $669.99. Even for the sales price $232.99, it not worth for the price ,not at all !!!! Not Recommend!!!!!

    It worked great the first time and then it stopped. The second time I tried to use it, the charge didn't hold. I thought maybe I didn't connect it right so I checked it, reconnected bob and let it charge over night. The third attempt to use it, the screen showed fully charged but it would only go a few feet and go back to the charging station. The screen at this point showed low charge. It only worked for about a minute! I was disappointed that it didn't work as great as I thought it would. I returned it.

    I was so excited and happy to get my Bob sweep Pet Hair Plus. It had a Killer Red color and the packing was top of the line. I plug it in and charged it up. Then I pressed Go, on the remote. It was very loud but that was ok if it cleans. The room I put the Bob Sweep in is about 600 feet. Living, Dinning & Kitchen are open. Bob Sweep cleaned about 5 feet Sq. and moved so slow the next speed has to be stop. Then is went back to home (Having used up its charge) Now it was on deep clean. I tried 4 more times same thing happen. This really broke my heart

    Bob likes going to his home to charge much more than going around our simple layout kitchen and pick up dog hair of the hardwood floor. Bob said he wanted to be a part of our family but we had to lay the law down to him... clean or go back to where the stork brought you from... as you now may imagine... Bob is no longer part of the family. Dogs listen better so they and their fur stayed and Bob is gone.

    Great for hardwood floors

    This works great for hardwood or linoleum flooring but DOES NOT TRANSITION from floors to rugs. It struggles, and backs away from the rug and stays on the hardwood floors. It's not like I have thick rugs, runner rugs are thin. If i put it on my area rug it gets off as fast as it can to go back to my hardwood flooring. I even tried putting helps for it to go over room floor dividers and it still would find a corner and get stuck.

    After reading online reviews, I was hopeful Bob might be useful for keeping the dog hair off our hard wood floors. Unfortunately I was wrong. Yes, I read the manual. Yes, I kept the roller clean. It does not pick up anything! It also gets stuck on the area rugs every time. I then thought okay, I will just use it in the carpeted rooms. Nope, it did not get stuck on anything but it also did not pick anything up. Very expensive mistake.

    Useless. Only runs about 45 minutes and stays pretty much in same area. Used all settings and it didn’t matter. Couldn’t transition from tile to rug and the rug is only 1/2 inch rise. Plus poor design on trash bin. The open button is on the back so if this backs up and hits wall the bin opens. It happened almost every time. Kept it three weeks and took back. Stick with IRobot

    Main Brush Error

    Main Brush Error on everything. It would run for about 1 second and the stop with the error (whether on carpeted or hard wood floor). I searched online for any trouble shooting help and it only ever suggested that the brush would be bound up with dirt and such. It was new. I switched the brush hoping for a fix but still got the same error again and again. I waited over 10 days to get it in the mail. Did not want to wait for another.

    Two weeks old and already "dead." My Roomba lasted almost 10 years with very few issues and their customer service team was awesome. This vacuum is a nightmare - it destroyed itself in the corner by the dishwasher after only a few days. Sending it back tomorrow which should be interesting to see how their customer service team reacts to my returning the product.

    Bought this on a Black Friday deal. This unit is horrible! it loud and clunky. We have a Samsung Robot Vacuum and bought this for the lower level of our house. The unit is so loud and clunky we could hear it while we were on the second floor of our house. Used the unit 1 time for 15 min, boxed it up and returned it. I would not recommend this to anyone.

    I loved the packing and the unit is a beautiful Red. Then I turn it on. It pushed a lot of air thru the unit. But it only cleaned a 5 x 5 area. WHAT!!! I tried and tried to get it to clean more. It just would not clean... more and it was LOUD. I returned it and got a Roomba 690 witch took off and cleaned. I was very disappointed. If you know what I did wrong Please tell me and what setting I should have used.

    When Bob first got to my house, it was right after Christmas and I loved him! I told my husband that was the best money I had ever spent. I didn’t feel like I had to vacuum every few days any more. Bob broke after four weeks. I am so sad... very short lived. He lights up when he is on the charge dock but as soon as you take him off, the lights turn off and he won’t start.
