I kiss the thumbs up and down, but otherwise works well as an upgrade from premiere. The roaming option works pretty well, depending on licensing restrictions.

Bought this because my other one broke. Installed easily, problem with cable card was solved by a quick call to TiVo support. Would recommend.

This Tivo Bolt is worth the upgrade. Aside from its 4K support, the other media features are so rich and can watch 4K contents straight from the box.

So far I'm happy with with the purchase of Tivo. Still learning how to use all the functions.

Had it before but when we went to satellite it wasn't supported. Now back on cable and happy to have Tivo again.

Before my previous TIVO died, I was really happy with how it worked with the spectrum cable card. So I purchased another unit and transferred the card. After multiple tech-support calls with both Spectrum and TIVO each side kept pointing the finger to the other side. The service tech came out and verified everything should work including the cable card pairing; except it didn’t. The service man said that Spectrum no longer issues cable cards and does not support it anymore. By this time it was past the return date and I was stuck with the purchase and I can’t use.

Love quickmode which plays shows 30% faster with normal audio.

Make sure that you only buy this Tivo, TCD849300V1, if you plan on having cable. The other model Bolt is for antenna TV only. It's not very clear in the description here but when you go into the store the box says for cable. Also this is the 6 tuner version, for some reason the description here shows 4. I have Comcast and got a cable card in the mail after ordering it over the phone with them. I completed the setup online after the card showed up. I did have a Tivo Roamio so I had to tell Comcast, I called them, that I got a new Tivo before the card worked on the Bolt. Go to http://online.tivo.com if you are upgrading to a newer Tivo to quickly move over One Passes and also transfer shows from the old Tivo to the new one. We had an X1 box with Comcast but it just doesn't compare to a Tivo box. The biggest thing by far is the Skip mode, you won't see one commercial. Also using the Tivo app on my phone, I watch shows stored on my Bolt. And my shows are stored right on my Bolt. With the X1 box, everything is in their cloud. 4 star rating for 2 reasons: Having to buy service through Tivo for $14.99 a month plus paying to rent your cable card, Comcast charges $9.99 a month, makes this an expensive option for an already expensive thing (cable). I've had a Tivo since 2003 so I was very used to the old setup, the new one that is standard with the Bolt is not as user friendly. But it's still way better User Interface and software package than anything that I've seen Comcast or AT&T have so I'll remain a Tivo user.

Have multiple Tivos. Definitely the best way to watch TV.

I couldn’t use the product for my original intentions. I didn’t understand the lack of compatibility with other devices/products.

Ended up replacing this unit after having my former unit for 8 years. Poor quality. Poor memory usage, constantly having to reboot the thing and fails to connect with the Mini's. Finally it stopped recording well.
