Was replacing my broken phone and this new one just became available. I am greatly pleased with this phone. It has awesome graphics and the Android 5.1 is clean and sweet!!!

Nice to do a review now seeing Iv'e had the phone for almost a year now. I can say the phone still works very well and I have never factory resetted it once since I got it brand new out of the box from the store a year ago. It has a fairly decent looking camera, runs apps relativity good, and just simply works. Bought it for 100$'s and haven't looked back on this purchase since. If you're looking for inexpensive smart phone that works well and takes decent pictures for the price, I highly recommend this phone for this price range. I uploaded couple of picture example from my phone I took in my backyard.

I have had no problems with this android phone. My Samsung J3 is reliable, easy to use and camera, the photo quality is great!

My kids really enjoy having this phone for school and it seems to be pretty fast , they really love all our devices we have bought over the years.

I was looking for a inexpensive phone but stylish with many features. This phone is great & would recommend to anyone.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 is a awesome phone, its has great features you can't beat the price for it.

pretty good phone the clarity of awesome although the downside is that the battery doesn't hold a good charge I give it a four out of 5 stars

Bought this for my husband for Father's day. A nice upgrade for him. I had one slready. Got a great price on this phone. I like that it has a removable battery and you can add a card for additional storage. That was important to me. The 16 gb of internal storage is great. Phone is larger than our old ones, is made well in my opinion. I know it is a lot of plastic but feels great to me. I got cases and screen protectors on the phones anyway. My only problem so far is that my phone freezes sometimes, not often or for long but it happens. I wish it did not do that. I have a lot on it, pictures, music, audio books, apps, etc. That may be my problem and it is slight so not a deal breaker for me. Hubby is starting to love his phone too as he sees how much faster, bigger and better it is. Son got one too after I showed him mine and the great price Best Buy had on sale. He loves it. Camera could be better but it's pretty good. Samsung is the best for phones and these were a good price

Big, bright, beautiful screen and lots of space make this an awe-inspiring initial offering within the Galaxy family of smartphones. The battery lasts and lasts and lasts while on standby. I would not hesitate to recommend this phone to anyone!

I purchased this Samsung J3 phone because i needed more memory and bigger screen. Since I'm a boost mobile customer well this phone was my choice. Happy to say the bigger screen made it even better for me to view and bigger memory made it even more better for me to store more photos of my family and friends. I love the slim feel not too bulky.

This phone is great! Had it since Nov and not a problem, lots of storage takes great pics. I use this for everything: 2 email accounts, Pandora, my calendar, phone calls (of course!) playing games, shopping lists, shopping apps, I could go on and on. I love it, reliable, quick, great screen size, beautiful display! You cannot go wrong!

The Samsung J3 is a good phone. I bought the phone because it had 16gb of storage memory, as others are usually 8gb. The phone does not come with standard Samsung music application, so if you love downloadable music, you will have to stream music via Pandora or other streaming apps. As for WiFi, it only receives 802.11n, no 802.11ac. The screen is very nice and has great clarity and color. The camera is okay, good picture but a little slow. As for the battery, it does not drain too fast for daily usage. The J3 is a solid performing budget smartphone that is a basic no frills smartphone.

My daughter needed a new phone I read the reviews. So I went to best buy to purchase it and they had a great price for it. My daughter loves this phone it's fast and has a great memory. Now my daughter recieves all her text fast. And when she sends a text we receive it quick not two days later. And mind you this a boost phone it's a good phone the camera is OK but who cares it's a good phone.

I moved to another area and i could not get online with my phone using Boost which I switched to 3yrs ago from Verizon and have not looked back and saved alot of money After checking with Best Buy, i discovered my LG had an old LTE reciever which was being fazed out. This phone (Galaxy J3) was cheap $80, and had a newer set up. It fits in my pocket, is faster and if not using it alot last 2 days without recharging. The camera could be better but all in all a great deal. I got to say, I have use Motorola, LG and now Saamsung. I think Samsung seems to be smoother, faster, and easier to use.

Vivid and clear screen. Quick response and easy to use. Though I would have given 5 stars if it had a notification light and notification on vibrate in the volume options.

I originally purchased an htc desire for myself for Christmas in 2014 and by july of 2015 I was no longer able to play any games take pictures download anything or even place a memory card into it. The phone would not hold anything for any period of time. I purchased the samsung galaxy j3 in February of 2016 and it is a great phone im able to do pretty much anything i want on this phone i would aay it is just as good as a regular galaxy phone im very happy with all aspects and would recommend this phone to anyone!!!

Takes great pics. Also can do work on like using a mini computer. Doesn't die fast. Lightweight. Great for many purposes & holds alot of memory.

I've had this phone almost a month and I've had no problems. It is faster, better storage, great camera, phone calls are clear, no complaints so far. I previously owned owned a Moto G.

I bought this phone for my daughter and she is happy for the first time in awhile. It's relatively fast, good storage with the advantage of being able to transfer some apps to an sd card, and the camera is nice for the price. I have a version with a different carrier and would recommend it as a less expensive alternative.
