I absolutely love this game! rom the dialoge, the gun, Handome Jack, and the GUNS! so many guns! this game is a great. The dialoge is hilarious. "I smell delicious!" -Psycho burning to death. There is an unimaginable amount of guns to find, buy, or get Shift codes for. Handsome Jack is probably the Villian i absolutely love to hate, and did i mention the guns? Theres so much to do in this game. Also, quick note, the DLCs for this game are awesome. TIny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is awesome! as well as the pirate dlc. i just love this game.

This kind of game is best enjoyed with a few friends to play together. It's still fun as a single player game, but you'll miss out on the sheer craziness that happens when you have 2 or more (up to 4!) players. Like the first Borderlands, this is what Gearbox terms a 1st Person Shooter RPG. That means you see the game through the character's viewpoint and that you level up skills, damage and health by getting experienced through killing baddies and finishing quests. This game has a very stylized look to it, as opposed to super-realistic graphics. Though it does look a little cartoony at first glance, it's look is part of its charm along with its humor and game play. If you're tentative about trying this game out, see if you can get your hands on the first Borderlands which should be pretty cheap and is also a load of fun. Note: This game is not at all appropriate for kids or even young teens (it is rated M for Mature).

If you enjoyed the first one you will enjoy this one. Everything is bigger and better here. More guns. More great characters. More variety in the environments. More hilarious (and even better!) writing referencing all kinds of pop culture. Even more awesome loot. This game just rocks. Definitely better with friends but I enjoy it solo as well so you can take it all in. I honestly don't have anything to complain about in this game. It is a delicious mash-up of RPG and FPS. I love it. Absolutely worth the money and time. In this game the violence strikes me a lot more than the first. Mature audiences only. Please don't buy this for young kids. Be a good parent. Also 96.5% More Wub Wub!

Graphics, Guns, Goals, ... I have only just started playing in earnest but this is one of the more fun games I have played - I compare it to the Fallout series of Games but with the slant that this takes places in another world (another planet- not earth) but the characters are (like) Earthlings travelling to this planet to explore and plunder its riches. Character selection is par for Borderland games and the number of Weapons available based on the in-game weapon creation system is what I find to be one of the best parts of the game as literally millions of weapons can be created at random with the system this games uses ( as well as other borderland games)... As I play further, i may update my findings and ratings but so far 5/5, 10/10 One of the BEST GAMES I have ever played, nay - LOVED.

Borderlands 2 is a great FPS shooter and contains hours of fun game-play. Searching for better weapons is one of the main priorities that has become part of my play time. I enjoyed the storyline and there are so many side quest to expand the hours of play for this game. I think it is a huge step up from the first Borderlands and look forward to the DLC that will be released in the coming months.

This is game is great just like borderlands the original was. There really isn't anything wrong with it besides the mild glitches and the fact that it takes forever for you to join an online game or have someone join yours. This is a small issue besides the game is fun as anything and you can play for hours and hours and not even notice the time. Only thing I hope they do is continue to add new characters and new areas so that the game will get even wilder but at the same time figure out a way were you don't have to start from Lvl1 to try the new downloadable characters that are speculated to come out.

I've already have about 50 hours into the game and getting close to end. This game has plenty to do and will keep you busy for a long time. Supposed to be billions of gun combinations you can pickup. Pretty much everything you kill drops loot for you to check out. It can get addicting quick along with upgrading your character. Definitely a good game.

This is a really fun game, particularly if you're playing it with other people. Lots of shooting, lots of looting - not much else. I have to say, that after beating the game on normal and true vault hunter, here isn't a ton to do. Killing bosses over and over again to get the best weapons is alright... Although the rewards are few and far between. Now that the new mode is released, I might just have to revisit this game.

I got this because I dated a guy who absolutely loved the first one so I thought the second one would be awesome to try,. It's freaking awesome. Everything about it. I'm addicted. I've recommended it to multiple friends and they love it just as much as I do,

Seriously one of the better videogames I've had the great pleasure of playing. And it's even better if you play with your friends. The lust for treasures and leveling up doesn't stop. The game has great length to it as well. All around great game.

I had heard nothing but great things about this game so I decided to check it out even though I hadn't played the first one. Very easy to get caught up and into the game. Love the storyline and the awesome array of weapons. Co-op mode kinda hard to play on a small screen but other than that love it.

its an enjoyable game (if you played the original its more of the same) with a bazillion guns and enemies, a skill tree that becomes tougher and tougher to decide between, and hour after hour of fun gameplay.

List of awesome weapons and many to choose from. Pistols, snipers, basookas, assault rifles/machine guns. Earning money in the game is simple to do. A ton of side missions which can get a bit distracting but useful since leveling up is important for the main story line (as enemies become harder).

My friends and I love this game. It can eat 100's of hours and still be fun. Take what made the first one great and add on more of it. I love it!

This is my favorite game this year. They fixed so many of the issues from the original Borderlands and polished everything else. Love it.

The reason I am writing this review is because i have never ever had an issue with a pre order ever and I usually get my games through gamestop. I pre order my game through best buy and did not received my pre order bonuses. When i get home I saw no code in my receipt and then they told me i should get an email and I still have not received no type of email. If the issue is not fix I will never pre order through best buy again and I had 3 games i already place with best buy to get which is a bit disappointing. I'm supposed to get medal of honor, black ops 2, and halo 4. If you guys can't get this right I am changing all my pre orders through gamestop.

Not much to say, buy it if you liked the original, don't if you didn't. It's more of the same but with better execution. I love it personally.

This game is awesome. It is addicting and challenging and entertaining.

This game was very fun, grinding out quests and finding the legendary weapons was fun!

It's a great follow up to the original. Long story line. And has a lot of replay value.
