decided to try pre-ordering a game through Best Buy for the first time as I havent done so in a while and wanted something beyond the basic edition so figured better to make sure I got it. The site also states it arrives on or near the release date. The nearest store to me is a half-hour drive i normally only make it on days I have a college class to attend there and the release date wasn't on that day so I decided to ship from home. Day after release and still waiting and showing it shipped from california yesterday so likely not recieving for a few more days... not sure who dropped the ball but for an edition you are asking almost double the price of the base game you would think more effort would be made to getting your product to you at release so you arent being left behind in the community... especially in a game heavily rng and internet based where more time equals more items and rolls we are missing out on. This is coming from someone who received the diamond loot box collectors edition of Borderlands 3 a day before the game was actively released. You aren't going to turn the servers on till release hour anyway so not sure why you wouldn't ship to get there slightly ahead of schedule. Even the store is showing they wont have available copies till next thursday for pickup at store so switching to go get it wouldnt do me any good. I really dislike buying games digitally and not having the physical copy but more and more negative experiences like this are killing my desire to order games this way instead of just popping open the store on the console and buying the game that way instead.

Came on time came sealed and came complete. Very happy with best buy game could be a little better but that's not best buy's fault

This had to be my worst preorder experience ever!!! When I preordered I was told I could pick it up in store on release date. I called at 6PM and was told my order was on hold and it will not be release until end of the month. I told them that is unacceptable since I could buy it now and get it shipped in 2 days. The rep told me ahe can cancel the pick amd have shipped to me guaranteed deliver by the 16th. I agreed. Here we are on the 21st and still do not have it. I called once again and they told me that the order was canceled by me and I should expect a full refund. This was not true at all. My order has a fedex tracking number but you can not track it. Worst experience ever. I want a full refund amd more!!!

4 days after release and my preorder just left new York. Looks like im a week behind getting my game after preordering it so i could make sure i wasnt. Terribly disappointed with Best buy right now. I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars on your store and dropped the big money for a super deluxe. Why could i not pick it up at the store? Ridiculous.
