Can't beat this value and how much fun to have. Tons to do and co op did it for me

When I was on the fence about whether or not to buy a PS4 and join the nextgen community, I looked at the currently library of games available (versus my robust Xbox 360 collection) and looked for a beacon of hope. Then, there was Destiny - the immersive, space-based, first person shooter with multiplayer support, rich storyline, drivable vehicles, collectible items and highly diverse and unique weapons. Your character could be dressed to impress, modified to look different ways, and most of all, you could pick your class in order to use special unique abilities to defeat foes. The promise of this was enough to make me buy a Destiny-themed PS4 Bundle and join the future. Then... I was severely disappointed. The gameplay wasn't anything new. The weapons weren't special or unique unless they were gamebreaking. The classes were muted and uneven. The equipment was even more broken and you were effectively forced into buying DLC. It was a terrible tragedy and I've tried to move on. Then I saw a friend playing Borderlands 2 and thought to myself, what is this? It's EVERYTHING I WAS PROMISED WITH DESTINY, and whats more? Its funny as hell! I looked into the game and saw unique missions, storylines, and rich, bold character development. Even the opening sequence to the game was more than enough to draw me in. I purchased it from Best Buy and have been enjoying it to a 6-star level ever since. This isn't a Destiny review, but it should have been. Borderlands has been out for YEARS and if Bungie/Activision had just straight-up copied Borderlands, it would have at least been the game they promised.

I've played Borderlands since the first game and really enjoyed Borderlands 2 on PS3, when I upgraded to a PS4 I missed it bad. Seeing it here in HD and running at PC level frame-rate brings a smile to my face, being able to try the Pre-sequel which I missed is a bonus too. There is so much to do in this collection it could literally keep you busy for months, which in my book is excellent value for money. Easy 5 stars!!!!

Pretty fun game to play. Had a little trouble at beginning trying to figure out where to go. It is different than most other FPS games I have played, but its growing on me.

This game is truly worth the full MSRP of $59.99. Two games in one! Awesome games at that!

Borderlands 2 was already one of my favorite games, then they had to go and update the graphics AND put all the DLC together. Coupled with the Borderlands Pre-Sequel (and all of it's DLC) and it is a great deal. I wasn't much of a First Person Shooter type until I played these games. They're funny, surprising, challenging and have plenty of side missions and replay value in the way of multiple character classes.

If you like first person shooters with real personality and the ability to just explore and have a blast (no pun intended), it's hard to find one with more lasting entertainment value than Borderlands. While it doesn't include the original, which would have been nice, and while you will find some stutters here and there (though many have been patched), the sheer game to hour ratio makes it a worthy purchase.

I've always loved Borderlands and finally get to play a full collection on the PS4! It comes with both Borderlands 2 and the Pre Sequel. I've just finished BL2, with most side missions, and have yet to touch the DLC, but have been provided with around 30 or so hours of fun! I'm taking a break now, but will come back to finish up the DLC for Borderlands 2 and then play The PreSequel! Buy it!!!

I knew when the prequel for borderlands was only coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014 it would eventually make its way to PS4. So I held out hoping it would make its way next gen. I'm glad I did considering they put both excellent games, with all dlc in one set. What a great buy. Hours of endless fun in hd. If you've played any of the borderlands games you won't be disappointed with this.

This package is a great deal. You get a former GOTY in Borderlands 2 plus all of the DLC AND The Prequel. For those who have played Borderlands 2 previously, this is the definitive version of the game. For those who haven't, this game has it all. It's got great graphics, fun gameplay, interesting characters with funny dialogue, and great character customization. My only complaints against this game are that The Pre-Sequal tends to lag quite a bit at times. Pick this game up if you're looking for a couch co-op shooter or a dude bro shooter for weeknights with your friends.

This port is overall an excellent version of an already great game. If you've played both of these games in the past, with all of their DLC, then there really isn't anything new here. Personally, I bought the game because I enjoy the controller on the PS4 best and wanted to experience the game again in its best form. For that reason, it's very enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it.

If you are fan of Borderlands or just starting out, this is a great collection. It contains all of the DLC for both games. It's a shame is doesn't have Borderlands 1 though. Along with the DLC, you get upgraded graphics and you can transfer your saves from the same brand last generation console. If you already played them, then it's the same just prettier. Still worth every penny.

I love this game. It will allow you to port your character from your PS3 to your PS4. You can continue where you left off. That is a great feature to have included in the game. You also get two games included in this bundle. You can play Borderland 2 and the Pre-Sequel. There is so much going on in these games and a huge variety of weapons to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

If you waited for the inevitable release of The Handsome Collection on current-gen consoles, you're in luck! The collection comes with two full games and all of the DLC up to this point. If you're a BL fan, you know what you're in for. If not, this is a good way to jump on board. Saves and characters from BL2 and last-gen versions of the pre-sequel can be easily transferred and the HD cel-shaded graphics look great. Shooting stuff and opening boxes has rarely been this fun. Lots of old and new characters and some of the funniest video game dialogue just add to the fun.

Very enjoyable game that gives you a great story to follow and learn the lead up to what the series has become. Plenty of hours played and more to come.

Borderlands the Handsome Collection is a great compilation of 2 of the best Borderlands games in one package. The move to next generations systems definitely helped the games look better with their think stenciled art style. The game is extremely fun, doesn't require a huge learning curve, and is just challenging enough to keep you entertained for long periods of time. Exploration is fun, add a few friends into the mix and the game automatically adjusts the difficulty to ensure the party has enough going on to keep you challenged. This package also includes nearly every DLC that was released up to the launch, which is a pretty amazing collection of items given that individually it would have cost $100 or more. Go get it, enjoy it, for the price of 12.99 you CAN'T go wrong!
