This is a great value containing 2 games and all the associated downloadable content and expansions. The graphics have not been remastered for the PS4 but the resolution is higher so it does look a little crisper. I had never played through these games on the previous systems so this is the perfect all inclusive bundle for me.

Borderlands 2 is a first-person shooter RPG (role-playing game) that takes place in the sci-fi world of Pandora where you’re hired to find a mysterious “Vault” left behind by an advanced alien species known as Eridians. This Vault is said to contain immense treasures and your adventures along the way will have you meeting a large variety of funny characters, difficult enemies, crazy creatures, and amazing boss fights. This game has a very detailed and deep leveling system that allows for your characters to harness super fun and helpful abilities to help you blast away at any enemies that happens to get in your way. This leveling system is different and unique for all of the six playable characters.The environments and areas to explore in this game are very different and unique ranging from rolling sand dunes of the desert, to snowy glaciers, to futuristic cities. This game also has a loot system that features randomly generated weapons and gear which means that all loot will be different from the last, this loot generating can generate tons of different items, so many in fact that the developers aren't sure how much. The previous Borderlands game had around 1,750,000 different weapon combinations and the developers say that Borderlands 2 has way more! This game runs very smoothly and I never experienced any lag or framerate drops while playing. The game also features online co-op with up to four players and up to four player split screen which made for some of the best couch co-op gaming I’ve ever had. Borderlands 2 has a very goofy sense of humor throughout the game which always keeps things entertaining. This game will keep its players playing because of its well developed plot, goofy sense of humor, excellent combat mechanics, and its extremely addictive loot system. Even though all of these things make the game very fun to play, no game is without its problems. This game will constantly have you go through areas that are fun, but then have you make the boring trek back through them, this means that a lot of time will be spent on just traveling back from places. Also, a lot of side missions will have you do the same kind of tasks which can be a little repetitive, but if you are paying attention to the dialogue, the story behind these missions really helps in making them seem less tedious. This game also makes it so that in order to level your character to the highest levels you need to replay the game in a different, tougher mode where you get to keep everything you had previously earned. This mode is entertaining due to it introducing many new enemies and loot, but can definitely be repetitive replaying all of the missions again. The final mode is extremely difficult which causes players to think things through much more and utilize the necessary abilities to succeed. Overall, Borderlands 2 is a fantastic game that offers hundreds of hours of fun to anyone who enjoys first person shooters and RPGs

This package alone is over 100 hours of game content. Graphics are enhanced, full 1080p, steady 60fps. Borderlands 2 is probably one of the funniest games I've ever played. The pre-sequel is decent, not better than BL2, but still worth playing for the changes. Better played with a friend, but still enjoyable solo.

I loved playing through bl2 again with new friends and all the added content would def recommend for fps co-op lovers.

Solid collection of games for a really good price.

Borderlands is like playing in a game the way we feel in the real world. You have crazy devices talking to you and leading you into trouble. You have bosses with their hair on fire (I've never seen that at work) and insane idiots attacking you from every direction ( anyone been on the highway recently) all the while some schmooz voice is talking to you. Love the graphic style of the game which just and to the fun. All in all a great way to kill off hours and brain cells

For those of you who aren't familiar with the series: If you like story I'd suggest buying and starting the first one (borderlands) instead but if you don't really care about story and just want and mindless shooter you can kinda zone out on then this is for you. Be warned the banter is kind of bawdy If you're familiar with the series: I've played the first two on pc, and enjoyed replaying the second and playing the third (pre-sequel) on the ps4. The story is pretty well done and the banter in the background is funny (as always) and it's borderlands... I don't think I need to say more (if you're familiar with the series)

If you haven't played the Borderlands series before this set is the best place to start through your PS4, you get upgraded visuals for BOTH titles. And while the Pre-Sequel is almost a hyped expansion instead of a stand alone title the addition of part 2 in this collection is worth the price alone!

Picked this game up for ps4, wanting wanted to play the pre-sequel. Borderlands2 was one of the best co-op games, and the pre-sequel doesnt dissapoint. I would definitely recommend picking this set of games up if your a fan of any past borderlands game, or just looking for a fun co-op game experience.

I already loved the series and this is a solid port of Borderlands 2 and the Pre Sequel for the PS4. The graphics look great though I did notice an occasional frame rate slip here and there. It feels great playing with a PS4 controller. I can't believe how much content they packed into this bundle!

Got the game after hearing about the patch that fixed the FPS issues. This version seems to play just as well as the PC version (playing on a high end system), and even with a game controller vs keyboard/mouse. All the DLC content is a HUGE plus. Truly the definitive version of the game.

I have always been a fan of th board land games, and this hold true to this totally awesome collection. I have never played the pre sequel, but its interesting so far. Graphics are amazing and rediculously clear. With all the download content, it is indeed a no brained to pick this up.

Looks wonderful and plays just like the old games. Plus you can play as claptrap. This game fills in some plot questions from the first borderlands and looks wonderful. If you like the original game, this is a no brainer. If you have never played, this is a good place to start!

One part first person shooter, one part role-playing game, and five parts sarcastic, witty, and just plain silly humor. If you're a console gamer and an FPS player, this is a great choice, ESPECIALLY if you've got some friends who also enjoy running around and adventuring together.

I haven't put too much time into this game since i'm addicted to others, however a co-worker mentioned this was amazing on the previous game systems so I figured i'd try it. I like the graphics layout, it's very cartoonie and such, i'll definitely be playing it more just need to get away from Shadow or Mordor and GTA V lol! From: a woman previously on a 12year hiatus from the gaming world. :) too many games for me to play!

The Handsome Collection is an incredible value at any price. Two huge adventures with all of their DLC bonus content included in one package. Each game has a big selection of varied characters for you to play as, alone or with friends, leading to countless hours of shooty fun. The Borderlands series' trademark "comic come to life" graphical style really pops on the PS4. Bright colors, crisp lines. I couldn't be happier. For a collector such as myself, who is focused on owning the most content-complete version of a given game, the Handsome collection is THE way to own Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel.

This game collection makes the Borderlands franchise even greater than it already is. You get both the Pre-sequel and BL2 (which has all of the DLC that you would've had to pay for back when BL2 was first released). This is definitely a must buy for and BL fan or FPS/RPG fan. The only complaint I have is that I would've loved if they included the original Borderlands in this collection. That would've made this perfect.

First Person shoot and loot with hundreds of hours worth of content. Playing with friends, up to 4, really takes the fun to a new level. Account wide bonuses apply to each character you create, making it easy to start a new character and not feel like you wasted time on another.

My husband and I got this game. If you like western meets sci-fi plus superpowers this is a good game for you. And you can play couch co-op which is great. The characters are all crazy but funny and it's just a good game to sit back and enjoy playing.

My daughter received this in the mail at a price that is half of what Best buy is charging now. And all is quiet and well here now that she is busy shooting monsters and stuff. This appears to be two games in one box. Should take her a while
