The first and last time I'll buy a dishwasher without seeing it in the showroom first. In a few words: hard to load, instrument panel not user friendly, doesn't clean plastics well, frequent drain error. The tines are too close together on the bottom, making loading bowls difficult, while simultaneously there are large gaps in between to tine sets so you can't put small items there. Even get the feeling that you're spending too much time fitting everything in the dw that you may as well wash it by hand? Well that happens every time I load this thing, Plastic bowls and cups on the top rack will only get clean on the longer cycles, if at all. I've used rinse aid since installation. Door is very stiff. You really have to push it down hard to open, and is springs shut very hard sometimes. I have back issues and it's more important to be able to easily open the door than it is for the door to automatically swing shut every time. There is no need for an automatic shut. Bottom rack: when you load a few dishes in the front (which is convenient when you don't want to pull out the rack all the way), it upsets the balance so that when you do pull out the rack all the way, it tilts/crashes forward because of the roller gap. Even more annoying, the bottom rack will roll right off into your kitchen if you're not careful and it's not weighed down with dishes. The roller stop mechanism is very minimal. Instrument panel is ridiculous. There are settings for the most common cycles, but you'll need to manual to figure out how to run a drain cycle (press start for 3 seconds). Lots of custom controls but that's a deep dive into the manual as well. Basic rinse cycle uses cold water!? Frequent E24 error which means either the filter is clogged or the drain hose is clogged or kinked. But this is inconsistent - I was about to check the drain hose after several days of E24, but then it inexplicably went away. The drain hose is shorter than my previous KitchenAid but somehow still not properly positioned apparently. Only seems to clean properly on the longer cycles - standard is 2:35 hours. It is fairly quiet which was one selling point for me. Bottom line is that my $300 kitchenaid cleaned better and had more custom options plainly illustrated on the instrument panel. The only reason I replaced it is that the bottom seal disintegrated and there was no apparent replacement part.

The unit was a bit tricky to install for someone who's never installed one before. Unlike most of the guides one finds on YouTube, my unit did not come with the junction box built in to the dishwasher lower front. It was a separate box. Also, most instructions assume you're going to put the dishwasher directly next to the sink, which is not how our kitchen is built. So that was interesting. If you're in that situation, don't despair. There's just enough room below and behind the washer to fit everything that needs to be fit--assuming your opening is standard sized. Dishwasher itself: There's a learning curve, since the racks are designed quite a bit differently. I think I fit less dishes into it than the old Whirlpool. The tradeoff is that they clean better. The rack design probably intentionally discourages overloading. I still find it awkward to fit half a dozen deep soup bowls in it though. Tight spines don't seem to like deep bowls. Getting better at it though. Drying: It's important to have the right expectations. If you position items strategically so they don't have puddles, they dry very well considering that there's no heating element. Our old Whirlpool with heating element only dried slightly better, which isn't much benefit for the energy consumed. Drying tip: after the load finishes, leave everything sitting in there for as long as possible. I try to wait a good four hours. Heat does slowly dissipate and most of the moisture does condense on the sides and bottom of the washer as designed. You might get better results with rinsing agent. We don't bother. I do like how easily the parts at the bottom open up for cleaning. Super quiet. Easily the quietest washer I've ever used. Red LED display is an odd choice. Would prefer blue or green.

BOSCH is always the best....cleans brilliantly, quiet and easy to use!

just got the equipment and is working well. no issues. very easy to use and dishes are super clean. quiet dishwasher and tub has excellent finish

Compared to the KitchenAid this replaced, this dishwasher is amazing. Cleaner disher, quieter and cheaper

Was able to catch this at a steal. Open box. Great dishwasher. Does what it needs to. Just like I wanted. Lightweight. Not loaded with crazy features but I’m ok with that, I don’t need all those other features., just wash and dry my dishes! Compare to my old dishwasher,,,, this thing is quiet! Love it. Hope it last as long as my old one did.

It gets my dishes sparkling clean. The only big regret I have about this dishwasher is the way the interior wire racks are placed and curved. They restrict placement of some items resulting in fewer dishes fitting inside. Also the angle of the wires do not allow placement of some dishes I use to be able to fit into my old dishwasher.

The best brand of dishwasher we have ever used. It is super quiet, fits things nicely, and gets everything clean!

Quiet, fits lots of dishes and cleans great! Have had other brands and happy to be back to Bosch.

The dishwasher cleans wonderfully well. I had one before this and I liked the layout better in my older one. I like to put pots and bowls in the dishwasher and this one is set up for more plates than I prefer. The customer service of Best Buy was TERRIBLE. i was not called back when disconnected twice. I had a compaint order and it was never responded to.

I love my Bosch dishwasher. I am so glad I saw this in the store. It cleans well, very quiet and I love the space for tall glasses and the design of the bottom rack. easier to store plates and other items. I forgot about the third side rack to hold big utensils. I traded this for a full third rack as the previous dishwasher was causing my cups to get stuck on top/third rack. very irritating. I highly recommend this brand and this model.. wonder if they sale ovens and fridges. I am HAPPY. The install team was quick and helpful. if I can edit I will add picture later

This dishwasher is EXTREMELY quiet to the point where I wasn't even sure it was on when I first started it after installation. In the three weeks we've had it, wash quality also seems to be excellent, although make sure every item has a direct line-of-site to the water being sprayed. The one negative (and the reason for the -1 star) is the interior layout. The different racks are not intuitive to load, especially with the spacing of the rack tines. We've tried the silverware basket on the top rack and on the bottom (where it is supposed to connect to the side, although having both of the baskets end-to-end doesn't work). The front of the top rack is also angled off, taking up some usable space. I imagine we'll get used to it at some point and will develop a good system, but it's going to take time.

Love this dishwasher! I’ve had this for almost 2 years I believe and I haven’t ever had 1 problem with it. It has always run so quietly and it washes my dishes very well. You definitely need to keep rinse aid on hand at all times because it doesn’t wash/dry as well without it but it works great!

Needed a black dishwasher and this was the only 1 available (looked in many stores) unless we wanted to wait another couple of months for one and it had already been 6 weeks. Was not expensive, cleans beautifully but is too small, especially upper rack. Will live with it. It is also quiet. Best Buy was very good about calling and giving us updates on the installation. Did receive conflicting information on a couple of items. When installers came, we were charged an extra $100 because they said we needed a switch. Also, felt we deserved a few dollars off the dishwasher because they would not deliver it ( even though it was over $399.) because they couldn’t find the model # in the system. Store personnel refused.

Great dishwasher, quiet, cleans really well even if you dont put the dishes in "correctly". At the time we bought this, dishwashers were more expensive and this was a easy decision. Come on, its bosch, best in dishwashers.

This gets the dishes including pots and pans very clean. I wish it has a dry setting and the inside is very small but I have adjusted to the size.

Quiet running machine that clleans really well the inside is a bit akward to lay out dishes if you have a lot or oversized. But overall love it.
