We had one in our previous home and bought a new one when we moved. It's quiet, reliable and does a great job. We purchased after seeing it was a Consumer Reports "Best Buy"

It looks great and I appreciate the top rack and adjustable second rack. I purchased because Bosch had the highest rated dishwashers on Consumer Reports at the time and I am not disappointed.

However, it does not dry dishes completely, as it has no heating element as it did on older models. Bosch told me the heating element was changed into a different method of drying the dishes. I have tried using both the sanitizing and extra dry button settings and it only slightly helped. I understand most American models still use a heating element which results in better drying,

Posted .Hi RALRAL, thanks for your review. For clarification, our dishwashers have used a method of drying called Condensation Drying. This method combines the high temperature rinse water with the stainless steel tub and JetDry rinse agent to accomplish energy efficient drying results. If you're using JetDry and have adjusted the dispense amount to match your water type, you should be getting great drying results. I can watch TV with it running in the same room without difficulty hearing. Looks nice. My husband connected it in minutes. Very happy.

Harder to load

I don’t like the slant on every glass holder, nor the silverware rack. I have to load from the left, it makes doing silverware awkward. My Maytag was way easier to load. It does a good job of cleaning dishes, but I would prefer greater ease of use.

Bosch 100 Series Dishwasher

So far so good and I have no complaints. The first Bosch I've owned and it also came with a trim piece which matched it. There are different cycles to choose from and the controls are on the top so there are no worries if you have little ones who like pushing buttons on everything.

We are definitely not disappointed. Even the plumber that came and installed it said it was a great dishwasher. If there is anything I would change it would be buttons at the top. Because of our countertops we are not able to see it when closed. Luckily the dishwasher has light at the bottom that turns on when it is running. It is very quiet and we don't even realize it is running while watching TV in the other room.

QUIET EFFICIENCY

I HAD A DRAINAGE PROBLEM BUT IT WAS BECAUSE I INTERRUPTED A CYCLE AND NEEDED TO CLEAN THE BOTTOM FILTER WHICH FIXED IT IMMEDIATELY.
