So, pouring rinse aid into compartment showed the compartment didn't hold the rinse aid. it leaked as I was pouring rinse aid in. I have had multiple dishwashers and never had this problem. Even had the Bosch dishwasher for years and nothing happened to it. New and old, they don't leave dishes completely dry.

Regarding the rinse aid, you may want to try twisting off the bottle cap for easier pouring. It's recommended to fill to the max-line and avoid spilling into the air vent hole. Overfilling the dispenser can cause oversudsing or clogging. Close the lid and wipe up any excess rinse aid that may have puddled when the dispenser reservoir is full. Troubleshooting steps to improve drying results can be found on page 36 of your Use & Care manual, available to download on Bosch's website. Instructions for turning on the Intensive Drying feature are on page 29 of this manual. Great dishwasher...no need to spend more

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this dishwasher....the top rack can be inserted lower for larger items, the silverware basket can split in two and you can remove one half for more bottom rack space. It's super quiet, easy to converse in the kitchen while it's going. Also easy to operate. I also found the dishes to be quit dry at the end of the cycle. I never pre-rinse, but don't expect it to clean "baked on" food very well. I installed it myself, pretty easy to do (it came with the cable that plugs into a wall outlet, and I was already setup to handle that). You DO need to buy a new water connector hose (if you are replacing a really old machine, be sure that your shutoff valve is OK, and you can screw in a 3/8" connector on the hose).

There is no way to properly arrange the juice containers and water bottles as all the prongs are slanted. Also hard to arrange the serving pieces and casserole dishes.

Cleans well and is fairly quiet, her kitchen is separate from the living room and you can’t hear anything.

The first one worked well so when it stopped working I replaced it with another Bosch. This one never seems to get the dishes dry. I think the energy star adjustments they have done reduced drying quality.
