My previous dishwasher was a Frigidare, and the noise it made while running in my tiny apt would drown out the TV. The Bosch not only does a better job of cleaning dishes, and holds dishes more efficiently - it is also extremely quiet. It might just be that I'm comparing it to my old one, but I just love this dishwasher!!

I’ve only used it once but it’s super quiet! I used to have to run my old one at night because it was so loud. I paid a little more for this dishwasher, because it has a metal drum (versus plastic). I’m very happy with my choice of this low-end bosch. And, finally, a word about TotalTech—this Best Buy service is $200 a year. I had them come out to problem solve my old dishwasher (30 years old) and that service call cost me nothing. Then, when I decided to replace my dishwasher and found one on sale at Best Buy, The delivery was free, the installation was free, and there was no charge for hauling away my old one. Total Tech has been a fabulous purchase.

Great Wash the tall tank makes the open door very low, for a tall person it might be inconvenient opening the door wide. The door must be open all the way to pull out the bottom rack. Very quiet operating you have to listen to make sure it is running.

Love the express cycle and everything is coming out clean with that cycle. All cycles leave top rack items wet even with rinse aid. Quieter than our last dishwasher. Don’t love that the bottom basket comes out of the track each load when loading and unloading but it is fairly easy to get back in place…just not easy on your back!

Excellent product. It cleaned a 6 qt. stainless steel pot in which I cooked chili. The ground beef was browned in it and I did nothing to clean the pot--just put upside down in the top rack and it came out sparkling. It replaces a 15 year old Kitchen Aid that was wonderful. New dishwashers are different. The drying technique doesn't use a heating coil. The interior seems smaller because of the extra noise reducing insulation. You have to carefully read the manual to understand and appreciate it. This is rated at 50 decibels which isn't all that quiet I think but our kitchen isn't all that close to our living area so it doesn't bother us.

Had this dishwasher about a month now, we’re happy with it. Dishes come out clean and by using the sanitize setting they come out dry too. It’s quiet. Top rack doesn’t seem to fit as much as our old one but it’s ok. Would recommend this.

We bought this DW to replace our kenmore model that died after only 3 years! It is so quiet and cleans beautifully!! We use a mixture of glass and plastic dishes/cups so it doesn't dry fully but if we had not used plastics I'm positive the dishes would be 100% dry at the end of a cycle! Highly recommend!!

Dishwasher fir right into spot under the granite countertop. Plenty of options but not too complicated. The best part is how quiet it is. We were not sure if it was working when we first used it. You have to put your ear right next to it to hear it.

Wonderful dishwasher. Very quiet. Not sure how 14 place setting could be loaded as they suggest, but I do not have that many dishes! Still deciding if it is cost effective as advertised because it takes about 2 hours to run a load. Seems long but perhaps the savings will show in water consumption. Time will tell. The dishwasher looks great and the dishes come out looking spotless!

Maybe it's because my old dishwasher was 11 years old when I went out and bought this one but I think it cleans and looks great. It's also super quiet compared to my very noisy 2004 model GE dishwasher.

I bought a house and I really wanted to get a decent dishwasher -- We had a cheap one in the place I was renting before. This dishwasher has a mostly stainless steel interior, two spray arms, and it heats water up to an average of 160 degrees. What I really like about it is the filtration system, it naturally breaks down food particles as it runs. This is great because we don't have a disposal in the sink yet, so if some food is on the plate it's not a big deal. As for sound -- OK, I know the big thing about everyone trying to get lower decibels and they want it to run silent etc. But I actually enjoy the sound of a dishwasher running... at 50db I wouldn't consider it too loud or too quiet. In my opinion, I would be tempted to take off the insulation just so it's a little louder. For right now, this dishwasher is the highlight of our kitchen.

This was a replacement for a high end Kitchen Aid so I had all the bells & whistles but the control panel failed and the repair cost more than this unit. This unit has performed ultra quietly and cleans like a champ. You do actually have to push a real button instead of a touch panel, but it works faithfully.

We are liking our new dishwasher but it did take some getting use to pulling out the bottom rack. If you pull too quick it easily comes off it's track. It does however do a great job at cleaning the dishes. Only other con is the wash cycles are long.

We spent a lot of time evaluating dishwashers, and finally decided on the Bosch...it is excellent...really cleans dishes, utensils and really good on pots and pans... In addition, it is very quiet....you hardly know when it's running... I would, and already have, recommended it to my friends...

Our old dishwasher finally gave out. Read reviews on several brands & models, and decided on a Bosch due to the high marks. Very satisfied so far as the dishes come out clean and it is very quiet. Was watching TV in the next room and completely forgot it was even running.

Easy to install, Quiet Cleans very well. Im a custodian at a private school. I installed this dishwasher in a Kindergarten classroom. The old dishwasher just wasn't doing the job properly. These kids and make a mess, and this dishwasher can handle every bit of it. No complaints from the teacher so far.

This is one of the best values I've ever gotten in an appliance! If you step a foot away from it, you would never know it was running. It's a little more expensive than some other machines; but it's worth every penny! Dishes are squeaky clean with no streaks! If this is in your budget...buy it!

Replaced one batch with another, other stopped cleaning after 6 years, great deal including free installation works as expected quite quiet cleans exceptionally well I do use all recommended detergents and rinses though and that i a bit expensive but after 1 month of use will definitely italy stick to BSOCH

This dishwasher is so quiet, I had to put my hand on it to see if it was really running!! Seals very tightly. Interior seems roomy enough, but some awkward angles do not offer optimal loading choices. Small issue with adding the Rinse agent at first, now seems to be resolved. Was very disappointed that the complete user manual/guide is ONLY online?!?! Really, Bosch?!? Did try to use Quick Guide to help decipher Codes for Cycle choices, but difficult to interpret.
