The dishwasher works beautifully. It is quiet, efficient and the dishes are dry without the need for the rinse aid. We love the front display; it is very easy to see when the dishwasher has finished its cycle.

This unit replaces our 9 year old Maytag. I thought it was broken the first time I ran it because I could not hear it. Dishes were really clean - I had to progressively rinse/wash them less and less before putting in for fear they would not come clean. It is not as "smooth" as the Maytag, when opening and closing, but really cleans well. Would recommend for the price without question. I did my research before buying and this unit lived up to its high reviews - and I am giving it another one.

I have nothing good to say about this Bosch Dishwasher. After my 2nd Kitchen Aid broke, I gave this one a try. It was rated high by Consumer Reports. I returned it for various reasons. The inside is so small and made of cheap plastic. The racks were easily moved about. The two utensil holders were not able to be fastened in place. There was no rinse cycle which is big with me. It was not quiet. The cleaning was poor. The drying was poor. I actually didn't have it for 2 days and I knew it was going back. I never return appliances but there is always a first for everything. I went back to a Kitchen Aid, high end model and happier than ever! Best Buy was more than professional and accomodating when it came to making the return and drop off the new one.

The Bosch dishwasher washes very well. Can hardly hear it running. Looks good and easy to use controls.

1 problem w/error on screen - didn't understand - directions not clear enough. Finally started another cycle and the water that was in dishwasher finally drained. Problem was - didn't know how to clear that cycle and had to let it run. Ran 2 different cycles to finish and cycle and drain water when 1 should have been enough. Still don't know what the problem was!

First one returned as defective. Replacement okay. With replacement I received detergent & rinse samples. Brand worked much better, especially on glasses. Best Buy service is excellent. Replacement technician was also excellent. Unsure if would recommend at this point. Cutlery basket too long, should be 2 smaller ones.

We purchased this to replace a Kenmore Ultra-Wash. Here's what we like and don't love. LIKE: - dishes come out clean.. we did a test where we intentionally put in dishes with caked-on food on plates and utensils. Both came out *completely clean*... WOW! and dry. - quiet -- it's pretty darned quiet. Not "silent", but I'm pleased with its levels - controls and options are adequate for our needs DON'T LOVE: - *long* cycle time of over 2 hours for a normal wash - door is very stiff.. have to use more effort than I'd like to open and close it, and literally have to push it down (once open) to open it all the way - door latch is very tight, and have to give it a strong tug (yank) to open the door. There doesn't appear to be a handle mechanism to squeeze and open.. just friction holding it shut. (if that's not the case, then my handle must be broken!)

Having been without a dishwasher for over 2 months, we're delighted to have this Bosch in our kitchen! It cleans well andd is relatively quiet.

I have used or owned many dishwashers over more years than I care to remember, including several different brands. In previous homes, I have owned 2 different Bosch models, and this is the third as I moved into a new construction home. In terms of overall effectiveness, reliability, and value for money, Bosch dishwashers have exceeded my expectations.

Very quiet machine. Like the front control panels.
