This dishwasher is incredibly quiet and has multiple wash setting options and stainless interior. My only issue is the space between the tines. For some reason the tines are extremely close together which makes it difficult if you are loading a casserole dish (for example). Otherwise, I would have given this product 5 stars

While the large utensil basket is a big plus, it would be nice to be able to arrange the dish trays more. The prongs for the upper basket do not allow good positioning of cups, glasses, etc. Product was a good buy, and once we get used to it, should provide years of service.

Dishwasher is very quiet and cleans well. Only complaint is the spacing of the tines in the bottom rack - they are very close together, making it difficult to load thicker type bowls and plates. Recommend checking that your dishes will work before purchasing this unit.

Cleans very well and very quiet. The additional upper rack is handy. only drawback is the spacing of tines on lower rack. Loading larger items is tricky.

Dishes have always come out clean. Auto function has adjusted to everything thrown at it. Setup of shelf tines could be better.

The dishes come out clean every time - we've used the auto cycle mostly, but also the half load and the heavy-duty. The auto cycle takes about 2.5 hours, but it is quiet and effective. It took a while to get used to how to pull out the lower drawer of dishes w/o running off the track. We didn't like the idea of grasping the silverware by the bowls and tines as we removed them from the washer, so we folded down the grid over the trays.

Racks too small for normal dishware.

Does a good job of cleaning. Door is awkward to open. Racks have tines that are too closely spaced. Utensil rack is difficult to use.

I wish the racks were more versatile. It seems the tines are too close together on the lower rack. Makes it hard to fit in certain items. My previous dishwasher seemed to work fitting more things in easily

The dishwasher looks great on the outside but fails on the inside. The lower rack prongs do not fold down or relocate to accommodate odd shape containers, like glass jars, the grid on the bottom is large and lets smaller items, like jar lids, fall through. Also, had it only 32 days before the thing had an electronic issue. Not mechanical, electronic - the sensor board died.

Washer speed working withing 8 - 10 uses. Got a control board error. The bakery and racks looked really cool, but you couldn't fit dishes into them well with all the different directional tines. The unit was super quiet the first few times we used it.

When we ran this dishwasher for the first time, we thought something was wrong because we didn't hear anything. Turns out it's just super quiet and does a good job cleaning, too. We would make this choice again. The only small criticism is the close position of the tines on the rack. It's hard to optimize all the dishes, but I'm working on figuring out the most efficient fit for everything.

Our previous dishwasher died (released some magic smoke) and we decided to spend time researching and waiting for the right replacement to show up on sale. This model was highly rated by a consumer research group. It is so quiet and uses a very small amount of water per load. My only complaint is the lower rack does not load as well as our previous dishwasher, the tines seem angled a little too much in the front part of the rack. I still gave it a 5.

This is a decent machine but may not suit all users. You need to be careful with the bottom rack. The design allows the rack to come out of its tracks very easily. Some of the tines are too close together for our comfort, especially on the top rack. The tines on the bottom are also too far apart for us because we like to put glasses on the bottom as well as the top.

I love this machine because it has the "30 minute" quick wash cycle. I don't like the tines being so close together though. It is great if you only use flat plates. But when you use bowls, it is VERY difficult to load the machine fully. However, I like this Bosch because it is quiet and it has the "30 minute" quick wash cycle. I am willing to overlook the "tine problem" for the convenience of having my dishes washed in 30minutes.

As with another reviewer we had not washed dishes for 2 days before the dishwasher was installed, although we are just 2 people so 2 days of dishes is still not that much. Only 1 thing did not come perfectly clean and that was a muffin pan that had baked on cooking spray on it. As has been said by others this machine is unbelievably quiet, I am hard of hearing but wearing my hearing aids if I am standing next to the machine the only thing I can hear is the water flowing in or out of the machine. This replaced at twenty year old GE dishwasher and out cleans the GE by 2 to 1. My only complaint is placement of the tines in the racks, as I said we are only 2 people so half the tines would be sufficient and the tilt angle is somewhat too steep, I presume to aid in washing but it does make loading difficult. The silverware tray design does prevent nesting which is a nice feature. I feel that Bosch is the new standard in Dishwashers.

So far this has been a great dishwasher. I love that it's stainless steel and that the top rack is adjustable. It cleans very well and is incredibly quiet! It has a lot of great cycle options and I love the Auto Cycle that senses how full the dishwasher is and cleans accordingly. The only thing I don't like about the dishwasher is that it's a bit difficult to fit certain dishes. The tines are very close together and larger items don't fit very well. Other than that, it has been a great dishwasher!

    Cleans Well

Cleans well, better than my old one, but of course it should. I DO NOT like the way the tines are arranged in BOTH racks. It is an ODD set up. Have tried different ways to load plates and glasses. Both have trouble fitting in the normal area for both. The plates take up too much room in the bottom rack, not leaving space for other items, have to rearrange several times. The glasses and cups try to fall over and bowls lay down flat taking up too much room in the top. I am kind of disappointed in such a name brand appliance with such a poor layout in the interior.

We were quite satisfied with our 15 year old Whirlpool dishwasher. Alas, the control board died. Looking at a $175+ replacement cost, we figured it was time for a new unit. My wife follows the Consumer Report recommendations, so we settled on Bosch. I agree with other reviewers on this site concerning this Bosch unit in this regard: it's incredibly quiet and cleans nicely. Glassware is essentially spotless. The racks are poorly designed and, while it appears they might hold a lot of dishes, the tines are so close together, few standard size items fit between them. Thus, you skip every other tine when loading thereby reducing the effective capacity. However, it's infuriating to wait 2 1/2 hours for a clean cycle and find many items still damp. Obviously, plastic will not dry. But we find that certain glasses, metal items, and some plates are damp. The stainless steel door is always damp upon completion of any wash cycle. We've resorted to leaving the door open for 15-30 minutes before emptying the washer. That's crazy. Why use a convenience device, if it's still a hassle? I understand that most dishwashers sold nowadays use the technique embedded in this unit - superheating the final rinse water - in order to achieve electricity efficiency ratings. It's dumb and it doesn't work - at least not on this unit. Bosch builds many great items. I have several Bosch hand tools and they are superb. I suspect that this dishwasher might have been also, but the inferior drying causes me to rank it poorly.

It works well on some things but not others...initially we were getting glass wear that was coming out dirty still but that could've just been the green juice pulp that was hard to get out after being caked on. We did however put other items not rinsed off in and those came out sparkling clean. We did lower the upper rack and now the glasses are coming out cleaner. The 51 decibels isn't super quiet but decently so in an open floor plan. Racks aren't the best planned out but you have to be creative and will work. Overall a decent low end Bosch for the price. However for the next house I will get a lower decibel point dishwasher if there is a tv in the vicinity. Otherwise the cleaning works well. . just awkward rack prongs.

I chose this dishwasher based on the Consumer Report's rating. It is made in America which appeals to me and the price was right. I was replacing a Kenmore that I have had for about 15 years. It still ran, but deposited a brown goo around the door that I found concerning. I could get more dishes loaded in my Kenmore than I can in the Bosch. The arrangement of the tines on the top and bottom racks are angled and I am having difficulty getting very many dishes loaded. Since I live alone now it is not a major problem but I do have to run it up more frequently. It will be a problem during the holidays or other special occasions. I like having the different wash cycles--especially the heavy, delicate and express washes as extras. It is a very nice looking dishwasher and looks great in my kitchen, which I have been updating.
