We were looking for a white 18" dishwasher and the Bosch fit the bill. Installation was easy. The dishwasher came with everything needed besides a copper T fitting for the hot water input. The Best Buy dishwasher installation kit included this piece and some teflon tape. The unit is as described and is remarkably quiet. The sound of the water coming through the pipes is louder than the machine itself. We are very pleased.

Delivery delayed AFTER ordering dishwasher. Latest delivery date is after Thanksgiving. Guess Covid messing up manufacturing. Best Buy computer system should be fixed to recognize delivery is delayed.

    Super Quiet, Super Small

We got this for our very small ski condo. A quiet appliance was of utmost importance to my husband - since the kitchen/dining and livingroom are basically all in one space. So, we shelled out the extra bucks for a Bosch. We've been using it for three weekends now. The Bosch is amazingly quiet. You pretty much can't even tell that it is on. Auto mode does seem to create a little noise, but when set to Normal, it goes into Stealth mode . It does an excellent job of cleaning. And, I was very happy to read the manual's explanation of its built-in "leak protection system". So, I needn't worry about it causing flooding for us or our downstairs neighbor. I would, without hesitation, buy a Bosch again. My only qualm with the machine is that it *is* quite small and I'm still learning how to load it to maximize space. For two adults and two kids, using it on weekends, with mostly pre-prepared meals that we bring up from home - it is the right size. However, I did just go out and buy a set of extra-short drinking glasses (3" high) so they would fit and allow the extra shelf to flip down for another row on top of them. Teacups work nicely, but mugs are too high for that side with the flip-down shelf. I have thought, as I stand there figuring out how best to configure the plates and bowls... 'You know, I could have just hand-washed these by now...' I'm hoping that with a little more use I'll get it sorted out and it will be a quick load-up and wash scenario. If you can make the space for it, I'd recommend getting a standard-sized model. If you can't, and you need a quiet machine - the Bosch is a good choice.

    Quiet operation and quality built

I'm impressed with this dishwasher. As advertised it is very quiet during the wash cycle (rated 46db). For most of the cycle, you really can't tell that it's running. There is a countdown clock that shows the time remaining. Efficiently organized racks allow this small dishwasher to hold a surprisingly large amount of dishes. (Did you know that 18" dishwashers are standard in Europe?) The top rack is adjustable into three positions. Two spray arms on the bottom of the top rack do not interfere with plates on the bottom rack. Top rack also has fold down shelf for cups and large utensils. We've washed plastic containers on the top shelf, and they did NOT flip over and fill with water. Easy operation, with up to 24 hour delayed start. Has an adjustable built in water softener if you have hard water. The drain filters are easy to access for removal and cleaning. Does a great job of washing and drying the dishes. As far as installation, the dishwasher comes complete with the fill and drain hoses, and electrical plug; no need to buy any additional hoses. The dishwasher fill hose has a built in sensor that will shut off the water supply to the washer if it senses a leak. The dishwasher feels like a well built, german engineered product.

Used twice then quit running. I have a overpriced cabinet now.
