slow, wash takes a VERY long time, and the machine broke within a year

Within 2 hours of receiving the Bosch washer, the machine was making loud noise and it was about to exploded. Tech guy came and told us something wrong w the motor. Now, I have to wait another 3 weeks to get another one. Very disappointed.

Purchased in store as per sales person recommendation. Was delivered a week later to find out it has to be matched with the dryer and in no way is this able to plug into the wall. Delivery man took it back and i ended up getting something from another store. Very frustrating. Any not happy about not having a washing machine for another 10 days!

Washer does not complete its cycle. It's been a months since I've placed my order and multiple appointments that keep being set and then unexplicably changed by Best Buy. I still do not have a functioning washer.

I bought this dryer for a nyc apt only to find out it a not capable of running on a 110w. Now I need to pay an electrician for an upgrade. Also it was delivered an laced in my living and never installed. Bottom line go to a real appliance center where everyone knows what they are doing.

Installers could not plug it in. They had no answer to the problem. When I got it fixed, on my own, it had power but will not begin the wash cycle. Someone needs to show the buyer how these things work or know if they have a defect.

I had a very small space but I am not happy with these. I may try to sell them and then see if I can find something a little bigger. They are temperamental in starting and take forever to dry anything.

Don't buy this device. Buy LG, Maytag or anything else but not this very poor appliance.

Too small. Apt. Size was delivered. Dalesperson had numbers wrong.

Use it for three months, I love a lot of things about this washer, it is quiet, uses little bit of detergent and water, does great job, small but capable of doing large laundry. My concern is that after using it for three months drain got clogged with few hair and little bit of lint. I had to call service to clean it and pay $110.00 for service because it is non-warranty service. I really hope it was only one time and is not going to be routine. Another issue that I am not happy about is when cycle is done and I open the door there is water collects (1/2 cup) on the bottom of rubber gasket that needs to be wiped before getting laundry out. I called service and nothing they can do about, "it is how machine was designed" WHAT??? I simply have a little towel and wipe it out before taking laundry out. So, I love most of it and have some trouble with few things. I hope with a ruff start it will get better and no more problems. It is most expensive washer on our market, better not cause me any more greave.

I have now owned four different compact washers (the Bosch included) in the last year. Initially I started with the LG compact washer, but it vibrated so bad my walls literally shook so it was returned. I then tried both of the Samsung compact washers. They were definitely better than the LG, but vibration was still noticeable to the floor and in my opinion they didn’t use enough water. They also for whatever reason made my water pipes jump every time the washers filled with water. Then I went with the Bosch washer. This washer is by far the superior one of the bunch. I have none of the previously mentioned problems with this machine. Even on a high spin my walls and floor do not shake and rattle, it uses more water than the others which is just enough in my opinion, and my water pipes do not jump when this one fills with water. The Bosch machines are the ones to get if you need a compact machine!

I bought this machine in April, they were not able to deliver until end of May because they're not kept in stock. They delivered the machine, and during the initial cycle an alarm went off and water started pouring out from under the machine. Apparently, I had a defective machine. I called and they set up an exchange, the next machine was to be delivered a month later. Today is that day, guess what, I have a second defective washing machine. A technician is supposed to come out to fix it next week. I suggest you save yourself the time and hassle.

This is the best quality, quietest washing machine I have ever owned. Worth every penney

I'm giving one star to draw your attention to the Aqua Shield "leakproof" feature. Our sales person said we should buy this brand and this model (+$200 vs lower model) because we wouldn't need a pan and it would completely cover us for leaks. Nevermind that Best Buy delivered without the correct hoses for this feature. Aqua Shield does not protect you against all leaks. If it works, it protects yoiu only for a backup on the water drain. It does not protect you if the hose comes out of the drain. And, importantly, it does not protect you from what happened to us. My son put something in the washer with a drawstring hanging outside the door. This resulted in water leaking outside the door. The pan I was told I didn't' need would have captured the water, but instead, it went to the floor and destroyed the ceiling in our dining room below. So, word to the wise, don't completely trust Aqua Shield. It cost us a lot of money.

I had these installed new at my apartment and they are pretty terrible machines - compared to other modern options I suppose Bosch makes pretty good dishwashers I hope? -touchpad areas are very inconsistent (on both units) -typically have to press "play" several times before something happens -dryer was missing the heat exchanger -dryer sensor feature is nearly worthless (I now just use timed dry) -hard to gauge how much soap to use (though this complaint is pretty common to most HE washers) -spin isn't very fast -can't customize it like with the alerts that it is finished -no wifi/bluetooth connection unlike most modern appliances -clearly inexperienced engineers were involved in this product unlike in a samsung or GE on the plus side, the dryer didn't almost start a fire like the last one my dumb landlord gave me

The washing machine is nice and quiet and being vent less is an added bonus. But takes a really long time wash and our clothes always end up in a tight waded up ball. Also the warranty is not good when compared to other manufacturers. I got to check that.

I have had my Bosch Washer and Dryer 500 series for almost 1 year now and it has taken me some time to get used to them. The Washer does not always clean the clothes properly. The Dryer has 14 settings and only 1 actually dries the laundry. My Utility Bill has increased over the past year - could be other factors but the dryer takes forever to dry anything.

The washer and dryer require a special 240v 3-prong outlet instead of the standard 4-prong 240v outlet. Best Buy didn't mention this at all when I bought it. Bosch customer service was rude and not helpful either -- you have to hire an electrician to solve the problem by yourself.

We bought because of space restrictions. We can run a towel 2 times for 40 minute each and still not dry. We have also used the towel setting and after 2 hours it finally dries. Have had the unit for over a year and tried everything - just does a terrible job of drying.
