The dishwasher works well and is very quiet as described in Consumer Reports. You really need to use both extra dry and sanitize to get the dishes to dry well. What is really horrible is the software needed to use certain features such as setting a rinse and hold feature, only available via software and not a button setting. Also while there is a clean LED, it only stays on for minutes after the wash. I enquired and Bosch said it was to save energy, If the LED stayed on for the life of the washer, it would be just a very small fraction of the total power usage of the appliance. Bosch was very good at customer interaction, but not necessarily ready to make any changes, even though it may only be a "software" update. What next, a WiFi interface for your toaster!

I am pleased with our new Bosch dishwasher. I like the stainless insides. It does not fully dry dishes within the cycle time. Also adjusting to fitting pans, etc in, seems smaller. Like how quiet it is! Enjoy the top rack too.

Research and study led me to this product to replace our failing dishwasher. Among many great features was the optional 3rd rack; the quiet, effecient operation of the cycle, the repair history of this product and so much more. After a month of operation, our expectations have all been met. This dishwasher does a great job of cleaning efficiently using a minimum of water and a prompt full cycle. It's everything we wanted in a new dishwasher!

Bosch 300 Series dishwasher works very well! It took two visits to get it installed properly, but now everything is in ship-shape. I like the third rack for kitchen utensils and larger spoons, etc. Dishes come out very clean! Excellent purchase!

Unit is very quiet and works great. The smart features are a nice touch. There are some functions only available in the app, which is a little strange to get used to. But it gets the dishes clean. The rack layout is a bit awkward, but works, and could do better job drying plasticware

Not at all happy with the BestBuy store that we went. We had few questions about this, so went to the store. Met 3-4 BustBuy associates, all these people are trying to escape from us, and they are we dont know anything about this dishwasher! Really upset with the response from these associates! Regarding this product: Cleaning quality is really good, but disappointed with the Dry Quality. We tried all the options, but its not able to dry fully. Also, the installers didn't tighten the screws properly, and because of that, there are scratches in the lid.

Works well but we were spoiled by our meile for years which is 2x the price. This is always good at cleaning dirty dishes and is so quiet I don know it is on....but the flip side ofvthat is I don't know if it is done either. Only complaint is how dishesvfit relativevto the meile....it is a little less efficient but this is a small nit

Customer service, delivery, and installation were all wonderful. The dishwasher is great. Only annoying thing is the clean light doesn’t stay on after the washer finishes and drying could be better. But it’s quiet and cleans very well!

This machine is replacing a 10 year old Whirlpool that was leaking. We have had the Bosch dishwasher for about 2 months now and can't be happier. The Bosch is quiet and powerful enough to clean everything we placed in it without any issues. Only issue is some of the plastic items(like Tupperware) not completely drying. This could also be a setting that I have to adjust. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Very nice dishwasher. More then I could ask for! The customer service and delivery of the dishwasher was amazing. The 2 guys that delivered it were very nice, polite and put it exactly where I asked them too.

Quiet dishwasher, gets dishes clean. App is a big help, but would be nice to know when dishwasher has finished without the app. Also, still figuring how best to load the dishes to efficiently use the space.

Purchased Bosch SHE53C85N to replace 13-year-old KitchenAid dishwasher based on review sources like Consumer Reports, Yale Appliance Blog, etc. While this model - our second Bosch over past decade – is quiet and seems to clean dishes acceptably, it’s highly lacking in overall quality compared to KitchenAid it replaced. Installation was straightforward, but overall product quality is sorely lacking especially for $1,000+ machine. Front door, as well as upper, middle and lower racks feel cheap and flimsy. And for over $1,000, still have to manually clean filter. In addition, as many others have said, if we want dishes, glasses and flatware to dry, either need to leave machine open half a day or dry everything by hand. IMO, this model is mediocre at best and I do not recommend it.

This Bosch 300 replaced a Whirlpool that broke down/flooded after only a couple years. So far Bosch is excellent; 60 min cycle that really cleans; third rack is far more useful than one I had before. 3rd rack can hold silverware and they come out spotless. I have already recommended this mode to my parents.

I like how quiet this model is, and that it has three racks, one being adjustable in height. Organization of dishes in racks is more intuitive. It's got a simple design, and control via app. One thing that it does not do too well is dry dishes. They recommend adding a rinsing agent each time, but now that's more money. The installer warned that today's models last only 5-10 years (compared to my last one, which lasted 18 years). He said that the things that fail are either the heater or the electronics. My last dishwasher, despite almost catching on fire due to a recall I didn't know about, had all mechanical buttons and very little in the way of electronic components. Such is the case for so many of today's appliances.

The good news: This dishwasher is *really* quiet. We were accustomed to starting our old dishwasher at the end of the evening, so we'd be at the far end of the house while it ran its cycle. This Bosch is so quiet in all phases of operation that now, sitting 10 feet away, we sometimes ask "Is it on?" Slightly less good: The 3-level racks take some getting used to, and the top rack is quite limited in terms of space and arrangement. Also, some items require a little towel-drying after the standard drying cycle — but we accept that as better than the cost (in time and energy) of the Extra Dry setting. On the whole, a good selection, and Home Depot's installation was on time and well done.

Works great…so quiet. There is also I lot of room. Having the third rack for silverware frees up a lot of space.

Excellent machine. Performs excellent cleaning, is very quiet and is easy to use. Worth the money!

After my Whirlpool washer, which had served me faithfully for 15 years, finally gave up and stopped draining, I decided to upgrade to a Bosch washer. I must admit, I should have made the switch sooner. This Bosch washer is surprisingly quiet. I have to check the indicator light to determine if it’s on. Overall, it’s a great unit, and I appreciate the three racks. It offers a variety of washing options, and I like the user-friendly app interface.

This is our 3rd dishwasher in 6 years and is by far the best. It is so quiet, I never hear it! The dishes get exceptionally clean, and we use the 60 minute wash all the time. I like the layout of the racks as my dishes fit well. Definitely recommend.

After price-stalking this unit for the better part of a year, I finally got for Black Friday and it is absolutely worth every penny! I love how whisper quiet it is, and it gets everything really clean no matter the cycle I use. I did notice a little warping of some plastic lids for some mixing bowls after using the sanitize feature, but other than that, I’ve had not problems thus far. I LOVE IT!!
