The worst we've ever owned

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clearly Bosch paid the NYT wirecutter for the ad (given it was their number one pick) as this is, by far, the worst dishwasher we have ever used. Incredibly cheap build, rickety racks that wobble out and derail easily. Terrible loading options that make zero sense from a design standpoint. Louder than you'd think, never a bonus. But by far the worst part is that not only does it not dry the dishes at all, it leave an absolute swamp in there. We must dry every dish and then dry out the entire machine. The door, inconveniently, doesn't crack open to help, it has to be wide open. Being very busy this summer, Best Buy's return window opened and closed almost immediately. What was that, two weeks?! So here we are, stuck with a wildly overpriced and wildly underperforming appliance. Choose any product other than this, believe me. Terrible.

Poor quality

Cheap plastic spray arm, tiny utensil rack in the bottom and top rack so close to the top of machine it barely fits utensils. Dishes are not dry at all when the cycle is complete. Trying to change cycle on machine is not easy, even the Bosch representative I spoke with on the phone couldn’t walk me through it without difficulty. This is my first Bosch appliance and I would never buy a Bosch of any type again.

Buyer beware if you need warranty work?

I purchased a dishwasher in Oct 2023 and it work twice and I am still waiting for it to be repaired as of April 16 2024! I paid a $1000 and can't get help from anyone from Bosch. They tolde they don't have anyone in the area to repair it. I ask them why don't you give me a best buy credit so I can get a new one and still no answer.

Bosch dishwasher doesn’t clean or dry well

You have to use Finish JetDry to get it to dry at all, otherwise the dishes are soaking wet. JetDry is a chemical used to spray on the dishes to break down the water barrier because they are using less energy to dry dishes. But I don’t want the chemicals on my dishes. I tried using the JetDry and the some of the dishes were still wet but they also had a gritty film on them, especially the 2nd & 3rd shelves. My old dishwasher was a Bosch and I loved it but they have changed them and I wouldn’t buy one again. I returned this dishwasher.

Expected better from a Bosch.

A few items fit and get clean okay, but not necessary. The other two shelves are poorly designed...the supports all at angles that make it impossible to stand flat items straight up. When in the store, I was told a Smart phone was not needed to operate the dishwasher...because I asked. At home the manual had CR codes to scan for maintenance instructions...not sure what to do about that. Installation used screws through the upper edge of the machine into the counter - one of the screws broke through the laminate countertop.

Skip This One - Choose A Different Model

Washes dishes (especially silverware for some reason) worse than the 20 year old Kenmore dishwasher it replaced. Doesn't dry anything *AT ALL*. This cannot be overstated - THIS MACHINE DOES NOT DRY ANYTHING, EVER. Never had this problem with my previous dishwasher. So, if you buy this one, prepare to hand-dry everything after every load.

Sanitize operates at a higher temperature to help eliminate bacteria and enhance drying results. 4. When unloading clean dishes, pull out lower racks first to avoid dripping water from the upper rack. Handle grip cracked at 10 months and not covered

Bosch stated that not covered under warranty since it is "cosmetic". For what I paid, I would expect the handle to last more than 10 months under normal wear and tear. Will it be "cosmetic" if I cut my hand while opening? How much do I have to pay to get an appliance that lasts more than a year? I will never buy a Bosch again.

Does NOT Dry Dishes

Does not dry

Everything is still soaked when complete even with the extra dry option. Very disappointing and will be returned.

BestBuy dishwasher failed delivery

I ended up buying the same product from Lowe’s it is an outstanding dishwasher, I love it. BestBuy failed to deliver the dishwasher and after 2 failed delivery attempts I requested to cancel my order for a full refund and made the purchase with Lowe’s they had my delivery scheduled for Wednesday called and moved me up to Monday at 4pm driver called and asked if it would be ok for him to come at 10am. Now that’s customer service. I love BestBuy and enjoy shopping there. The Car Audio Team that you have at Fairlakes is second to none John and his crew are amazing and should be commended.

Weird taste

Unreliable Dishwasher and Unreliable Service
