Unfortunately, we're very dissatisfied with it, because it does not clean, rinse, or dry well. To save energy, it relies on a filter to remove food particles rather than flushing water down the drain and refilling. That works ok for some food, but the filter cannot remove oil and grease from the water. If we wash an oily pan, all the dishes will have an oily feeling after it finishes. If a label comes off something and gets caught in the filter, it's a major pain to clean it. There is no drying element, so plastic items come out dripping wet. Over the 50+ years we've been married, we've owned many dishwashers. This is by far the worst one we've owned. We've only owned it for six months, but we're shopping for a replacement which will NOT be a Bosch.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this overpriced model to replace a 2003 Maytag.What a mistake.I clean the filter screen all the time and there is food left on almost all of the plates.The Maytag would clean everything.Made the mistake of trusting the reviews and now I'm stuck with this thing. I'm going to try more prewashing and see if that helps.

The design is very poor. In addition, even is you use the drying feature, items do not completely dry. Water remains in the dishwasher which then causes it to smell. I would not recommend this dishwasher at all. It does clean well but the other features are deal breakers to me.

OK but still missing parts

But we STILL don't have all the missing part for this dishwasher. I have spent countless hours being on hold to get missing parts that still haven't arrived. Will have to call again.

Bad odor

I’ve read other reviews and have found the same comment. Others have tried calling Bosch and said they weren’t much help. I thought it was just the newness and that it would go away but it’s been a couple months and it’s the same. If I wasn’t past my return date I would take it back.

Dishwasher doesn't hold a lot

In order to replace the heating element the entire circulation pump has to be replaced. These repair costs are ridiculous for age of the machine.

Even on the "Drying" cycle, this thing leaves everything soaking wet....No matter how long you leave your dishes in after it completes a cycle, they are all dripping wet...worthless...don't waste your money.... It also has a knack for getting really stinky really quick... We don't over use it... There are only two adults in the home... It is only two months old.... Finally, the layout of the racks is just terrible...not user friendly or ergonomic in any way...
