Very poor coordination of sales vs parts. Get your act together before selling the appliance.

The dryer is quiet and cleans well (though the cycle is 2.5 hours). However, even when using rinse aid and the Sanitize setting (per instructions for maximum drying) the dishes and inside of machine are soaking wet when the cycle is complete, so you have to use a dish towel before putting the dishes away. The "free installation" from Best Buy was a nightmare. They initially just dropped off the machine and left it in my living room. I then had to spend several hours on the phone in multiple calls with BB to schedule an installation date four days later. Then, the installers did not show up on the appointed day. I had to spend yet more time on the phone scheduling another date. Finally, the installers arrived, a week after delivery, and installed it fine. But what a hassle to get it done.

I needed a quiet dishwasher and this one delivers. My living and kitchen area are open. The area is small and the dishwasher lines up closely to my sofa. A quiet dishwasher was a must. Super quiet. Cleans really well. I do wish it did a better job drying. It drys about the same as other dishwashers. I've used the third rack more than I anticipated, so that has been a nice addition.

Love this dishwasher. All of my silverware fits in the top tray so I've removed the baskets (family of 5). Everything comes out clean and I don't mind the fact that dishes don't come out completely dry. Mine has never had a bad smell, this seems to be a common issue but I have never experienced it. It's very easy to pop the filter out and clean it once in a while. This unit is beyond quiet! Now if only I could get a Bosch tech to come out and explain to my mother in-law that she doesn't need to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher (she won't believe me no matter how many times I tell her and looks at me like I have 6 heads when I tell her about the food particle sensor lol). Great washer! I can tell you that if you have any of the issues that people are posting about then something is wrong. It must be an issue with the unit or improper installation. Get right on that and you will be happy when its working properly.

love this dishwasher, quiet and does a great job. If you are not use to this brand, don't buy. It air drys the dishes so no heating element required. Dishes don't get as dry but open the door a few minutes and they finish drying.

This review is both premature (this dishwasher was installed four days ago) and reactive (we had a super-crap Maytag dishwasher for four years). But with those caveats: I'm in love! When we were shopping for a replacement d/w, because of the amount of plastic we wash I was so firm on on the d/w being able to dry, but our other "must-haves" were third-rack, stainless interior, exposed controls, which kinda limited the pool. Because we'd had a Kitchen-Aid which was ridiculously expensive and which then died four years later, we have a strong bias against them, so that was also off the list. Because of our recent unacceptable experience with Maytag (which we'd chosen based on the rec from the popular consumer magazine as well as online reviews), that was also off the list. So here we are with the Bosch. It is so quiet -- it is running right now and I had to keep checking "is it on?" Yes, it is. Every time we've run it since installation everything has come out bone dry, including all our plastics. I'd forgotten what that was like .... CONS: I will say that I definitely see some of the nits others have mentioned: -the tines are spaced rather closely, forcing creative (aka awkward) placement of some items, especially in the bottom rack. (For example, I cannot get our pan / pot lids to fit because the tines are too narrow, so they have been perched at a rakish angle.) -the three trays, especially the top two, are not smooth operators. Especially the third rack -- that you really have to jimmy to get it back in, which feels stupid and makes me feel a bit resentful, like "really? Brand new not inexpensive d/w, and the racks are giving me grief?" -the utensil tray's openings are not big enough for some of our cutlery. I am a HUGE proponent of the business-end of cutlery being up (so as to be thoroughly cleaned), but our silver has decorative bottoms, and the knives and dinner forks have LARGE decorative bottoms: they do not fit in even the largest of the openings. I really like using the cutlery dividers because nothing can then nest together (and not get cleaned), but that's not an option, unless I lay them on the upper (third) rack. Which I don't and probably won't, because that I am using for sippy-cup innards and spatulas / tongs. I know, very first world-champagne issues, but it's also true. So, would I buy this again, based on my extensive use these past four days? YES. This is about the most money I am now willing to spend on a dishwasher given their short lives, and, given our must-haves, it fills the bill. Plus it cleans beautifully, dries thoroughly, and is super quiet.

Time will tell if this Bosch lasts 25 years as our old KitchenAid did but so far we think it is a fine appliance. Well made, nice looking, good features, easy to install ... we are happy with our purchase.

It's running it's first wash cycle right now, so it may be premature to review, but the install was MUCH easier than other brands I've put in, it's a lot quieter, and it looks more solid. Also, in our previous house we had a similar Bosch for years without any issues (there was a not-Bosch in the house when we moved it, it died after a short time, and my wife insisted on replacing it with the same brand, and it died after two years and a lot of leaking).

Love the Bosch dishwasher. Does a great job cleaning dishes. Rack is a little tight with the 3 racks, but you figure it out. Would recommend 100%. My husband even likes the dishwasher and he never usually comments on my purchases.

We bought this dishwasher in 2019. It has been down for two years. Bosch charges $160 for a service call. Finally had it diagnosed by the Geek Squad for $100 and apparently I got one of the dishwashers that has an issue that causes the motor to burn out. My previous dishwasher lasted 25 years. It was decent when it was working, but can’t go with Bosch again. Just bought an LG, hopefully that’ll last longer!

This dishwasher worked great for almost 6 years and then the pump went on it. Nothing else was wrong with the dishwasher. It’s a shame that things aren’t made the way they used to be. This replaced a 15 year old dishwasher that was still washing dishes. My husband tried to see if he could fix it, but it was so difficult to even get to the pump parts-he basically had to take the whole bottom apart. It doesn’t make sense to get a repair person out for at least $400. Bosch is supposed to be a top of the line dishwasher which is why I bought it to begin with. I won’t buy a Bosch again.

We've had this dishwasher for over one year and are well satisfied. The only comment I'd like to make is something that recently happened. For no apparent reason, a small piece of plastic material showed up on middle of the door. It was like a small bubble about the size of a dime. There did not seem to be any way to remove it. After researching the problem, I found that the door surface has a protective plastic film that the installers never mentioned or removed and is not mentioned in the manual. It was easy to remove and the door now looks better than ever.

Beautiful and extremely easy to use dishwasher. Nothing to complain really other than the racks can be designed better to be more optimized.

I love my Bosch Dishwasher. I cleans my dishes well, including my pots. Runs super quiet. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We have had this dishwasher for 2 years.

I had never had a Bosch product before but when my dishwasher broke the salesman at Best Buy suggested this one and it is wonderful. It is so quiet and has a top shelf for the silverware. It is stainless steel inside and it is exactly what I wanted. It works beautifully.

I have used it now three times after changing every possible setting to get my dishes dry. Using "extra dry" and "extend drying time" it is finally doing a decent job drying my dishes, but still with limitations. I can NOT confirm any kind of smell from the machine. It is very quiet, which is nice as I have an open floor plan from the kitchen to the living and dining room. I also had to change the setting for "auto off", otherwise the display will blink for 2 hours after the cycle is done. It now shuts off after 1 minute. The door concerns me, it latches too easy, leaving it slightly open hardly ever works, every little touch and it locks. But at least it cleans the dishes very well.
