Bought this four months ago. Despite using a combination of soaps and rinse aids, this machine is incapable of washing dishes. It leaves crud on everything. Have had a technician come out, he didn't find anything wrong but suggested another type of soap and rinse. Several weeks later, as bad or worse performance. Going through next round of having technician come out, but Bosch may or may not honor their obligation to replace. Would prefer refund over having a machine that is so touchy that it can't deliver a clean wash. And did I tell you it ain't cheap? $700 ought to buy better technology than what we got saddled with.

This Bosch is the quietest dishwasher I've ever had. And it gets the dishes super clean. But when you open it up after a wash, it's all sopping wet inside (the "Extra Dry" cycle does absolutely nothing). I bought it to replace my noisy 30-year-old GE dishwasher. But that old GE was never as full of water after a wash as this Bosch is, and it also had a lot more room inside too.

I bought this a month ago based on having a bosch previously that I loved. It lasted me 17 years and hardly a hiccup. This one is not worth the money even a little bit. It's always got condensation on the inside and none of the dishes are ever dry no matter what setting I use. The last one never did this! I am mad that I didn't keep the other one and just get it fixed. This was a waste of money! :( . I am extremely unhappy with all the new appliances (the others are LG)!! None of them work like the others. My older ones were made better, quieter, had more space. I'm really mad at myself over this!!!

After 2 months of buying this dishwasher , we have a terrible smell when opening it. We wash a load and it seems fine- then after 2 days the smell is back! The smell is a rotten smell! Having them come and check this out. We had a Bosch before this one and loved it- never smelled. Ugh

If I could go lower I would. The dishes are sopping wet, the tub is like a rain forest. Yes I use rinse aid, I have tried numerous settings and taking the dishes out at numerous different intervals. Each time I become frustrated. I called the Bosch customer service number and was told that all dishes should be removed between 45-60 minutes after cycle is finished. I had already done that but ran 1 more load with the same poor results. No where does it say that in the manual, online, or in the sales pitch about timed removal. And if that is the case-what a ludicrous way of creating a dishwasher. Tomorrow I go back to BB to return it for a different brand. I don't want my brand new dishwasher (have used it 5 times all with the same result to be repaired.

E-15 error code with no approved service techs in the area. aside from this, the jet dry reservoir leaked fairly early on making us have to re rinse plates near the door.

Researched a ton of dishwashers before deciding on this one. Get it. IT doesn't disappoint.

Horrible Dishwasher, 5 months in for our new SHEM63W52N and it still has a toxic melting plastic smell when it runs, and even worse when you open the door to let your soaking wet dishes dry. (You need to turn the fan on above the stove as well as open a couple windows in the kitchen help make it breathable) Have talked to Bosch countless times, they even sent a Bosch Technician to come and look at it. He was going to recommend to Bosch to replace the unit, but suggested we take the machine back to place of purchase. It took almost a month for the Tech to come and look at it, so my hope of returning was gone. That is also if I wanted to take a loss of paying a restocking fee. I am now stuck with a dishwasher that we can not use. Dishes do not fit in well, cereal bowls and plates must go in the bottom rack because bowls and saucers break in the top rack when it is up, but if top rack is lowered it bashes my Corelle plates (not over sized plates) in the bottom thus not rotating the spray arm. Drinking glasses do not fit on top rack, cookie sheets, casserole pans, pots and cutting boards do not fit in bottom. Soap just sticks to the top rack handle and does not dissolve/break down for proper washing. Even used the Finish detergent that Bosch told me to use because other ones were not working correctly. (Just as bad if not worse) Water does not heat hotter the the Hot tap water that first goes in. We have done the Vinegar and baking soda over a dozen times like Bosch recommended and still no luck. Everything needs to be dried off with towels because it is soaking wet, and then you need to dry the inside of the machine as well as the door. We will no longer be using this machine that is now taking up space in my kitchen, It has even started to make the stainless steel cutlery, utensils, and even bowls to go rusty. We will not be purchasing anything from Bosch again,, and they have been of no help, to fix this problem.

I got this Bosch dishwasher to replace a Kitchenaid that was only 5 years old and already had rusted out motor. As a single person the Speed60 cycle is ideal. This dishwasher does a good job cleaning the dishes. The dishwasher is very quiet.

Great machine with full stainless drum. Have had over 3 years and no problems. Drying not fast but adapting. First issue is a loud hum while washing, appears to be circulating pump but not sure yet. Still a good machine!

Ever driven by tar melting at a road project? That's what my Bosch smelt like when we opened it after the first load. Nauseating! Got on the internet and it didn't take us long to find "bitumen wrap" around stainless steel tubs as the culprit. It heats up with the warm water and it out-gases Its astounding to me that Bosch would continue to sell dishwashers with bitumen and continue to advocate that vinegar in the tub would take care of the problem, which it obviously won't. The problem is with the bitumen wrap which is outside the tub. It will continue to outgas over weeks and months, some reviewers say years. Talk about a product that would add carcinogenic toxins into our kitchen! No thank you. We called Best Buy within 48 hours of purchase and this dishwasher is going back. No more Bosch for us. And its back to hand washing until we can locate a non-bitumen, non-asphalt mastic dishwasher.

Purchased a Bosch dishwasher thinking I am getting quality. Shortly after the warranty expired, we confirmed that the drain pump was no longer working - for a premium product they sure put cheap parts - will never buy Bosch again. The two stars: It is quiet when it works (and when it doesn't)

I own a BOSCH dishwasher purchased from Best Buy incredible no pre cleaning needed. However do not buy from LOWES the 300 series as mentioned by others does not come with sound insulating blanket impossible to achieve 44-48 DB without it. Thanks to others reviews called LOWES out when I picked it up, staff was great came back said I had to call this number and order one myself. Returned it on the spot due to LOWES trying to charge retail for a product without all factory components.

This is a high quality machine that feels like it'll last forever. The only complaint I have is that the drying isn't the best. Plastic items will especially be wet.

This is my third Bosch (I keep remodeling my kitchen then selling the house lol). The home I purchased had another brand that left dishes dirty and wet. So, after a month of missing Bosch, I purchased one for my new home. You just can't go wrong with Bosch. They are great!

Overpriced and unsatisfactory. 1. It's noisier than my old junker 2. The door sticks when I open it 3. The controls are complicated. It doesn't remember. Need to reset everything every wash, and manually turn it off when it's done. Also has keys and function keys. 4. Large awkward filter needs to be cleaned every month. 5. Dishes don't dry even on extra dry cycle. 4.

Although this is a quiet dishwasher compared to our last one. The bottom basket is poorly designed. It is very difficult for plates and bowls to fit as the prongs are angled. The other complaint is that while the dishes are clean it does not dry well. Great company but not a great dishwasher!

Disappointing. Not as good as previous models. Installation was also disappointing.

Our Bosch 300 stopped working at about 13 mon. The customer service is was the worse I have ever experienced. The phone CSR people are terrible and caused water damage that they refused to pay for. Their phone system doesn't work and causes endless delays. Dozens of hours wasted. The phone system literally hangs up on customers while on hold. The CSR are terrible on follow through and untrained. They don't know how to solve problems. They can't track parts so you are left in limbo for months. It took 3 visits and 4 mons to get our appliance fixed. I would never buy Bosch again. They make false promises re follow up and visits and don't live up to them. Took 4 months and 3 visits to get our appliance fixed. Absolutely terrible. You would have to consciously work to design a worse CSR system. Their follow through on my detailed demand for payment of the emergency plumber bill for the flood they caused was nonexistent. No response other than a CSR reading me a denial. No explanation. She had no information. Terrible. Everyone working at Bosch should be embarrassed and ashamed to be associated with this company. The only redeeming feature was their field service people who are great but are sent to site without parts or information. They are fabulous and will privately tell you how terrible the company is and poorly run it is. If you surveyed performance and customer service, Bosch would fail every time. You need to reevaluate your selection of Bosch 300.

If you get this dishwasher (and probably many other types), Best Buy will take your money right away but you will not get the dishwasher for at least 2 months out! Buyer beware. Buy somewhere else.
