I bought this I thought was getting a high quality appliance it is very quiet but after a few washes I noticed that it wasn't drying dishes I would have to wipe off after but then later noticed after a couple days there was condensation in the very back of it the rubber seal was very wet so Im returning not happy with it the sales person mention these don't have a drying heat coil so thats why you would need to air dry after wash. not good !

Awesome dishwasher & remarkably quiet. Only dig is a very minor one and one I was aware of before purchase...because Bosch does not rely on heat in the drying process it comes up a bit short in that category, that being said it consumes less energy because of it & that's a good thing,

Love the third rack, runs very quiet. Not a fan of no heating element as the inside stays moist unless you open the door for awhile after washing but supposedly this is a better washing method

Only 18 months after purchasing this dishwasher, the heating element went out. In order to replace the heating element the entire circulation pump has to be replaced. These repair costs are ridiculous for age of the machine.

It is super quiet. Need to use premium dish tabs to get a good clean if you don't want to clean them first. And the heated dry can burn stuff on the top rack, which was the reason I wanted this model , wish someone had said that

Well worth the price for this DW. I never put pots and pans in my old DW and this one is a iifechanger. I can put most pots and pans to wash, the plastic I put on the bottom doesn't melt because there is no heating element and it is QUIET! I love this dishwasher so much I named it.

This machine is very quiet and does a good job of cleaning the dishes. It loads differently than most dishwashers, and like European dishwashers it has no heating element, so does not dry plastic items well on normal cycles. The top 3rd rack for small items and silverware is handy. After 2 weeks of use it does have an unpleasant odor which I hope will dissipate with time.

Pros: Adjustable middle rack, Stainless steel interior, 3rd rack for flatware, well spaced tines with foldable tines on bottom rack to add space, intuitive controls, does a fine job of washing dishes. Cons: No dishwasher without a heating unit will ever dry dishes thoroughly. Any lip on cups, plastic container rims, etc that can hold water will still have water at the end of the wash. This dishwasher was designed to be run regularly so if I don't run it after 2-3 days, there's a funky smell that emanates from it. The filter compartment gets filled with water that's not always clear so I'm leery of leaving my house for a few days for fear of what smells and bacteria will be waiting for me on my return. Given this, I'm on the fence about recommending this unit. If you plan to run it every day or every other day, then by all means go for it.

I actually wanted the model with a bar and hidden controls, but it was back ordered for 2 m and I didn't want to go that long without a dishwasher. This model is exactly the same except the controls are visible in the front. One thing about that's you know when it's running and how long it will take to finish. In the end, it's more a personal preference thing. This dishwasher is super quiet. The capacity is great, esp with the 3rd shelf. I feel like the tines on the lower rack are angled rather steeply, but maybe that's to facilitate cleaning. One thing to be aware of is that this dishwasher doesn't have a heated dry cycle. That saves energy, but you have to be sure you use the rinse aid to get everything, esp plastic, dry. If you do that things will be fine. But for some people that might be a deal breaker.

This dishwasher has worked as advertised since we purchased it. It is quiet and gets the dishes clean. By quiet, I mean it's very difficult to tell whether it's running a cycle or not. Some comments: we chose this because we wanted controls on the front, not the top of the door (the latter controls aren't accessible unless you open the door). The top rack is adjustable, meaning you can raise or lower it to suit your needs. It has a narrow top shelf for smaller items - flatware, small bowls, bike or water bottle tops, etc. it doesn't have a heated dry cycle, but does have an extended dry cycle. we sometimes grab a dish rag and dry the tops of upside down glasses before we unload. it has a reservoir for rinse aid - helps keep glasses from spotting. only need to fill it roughly every 30 washes, so about monthly. worth doing, we think the glasses look very clean and not spotted, unlike the old dishwasher. the interior has a slight odor at first - not the things getting washed, something about the inside, like a mild plastic odor. it goes away. there is a filter in the bottom - you twist a disk to remove and clean it from time to time. no tools necessary, thankfully. Installation was free and seamless - we received several calls confirming timing, and the installer showed up at the front end of the three hour install window, then gave a short demo of how it works when he was done.

I bought this Bosch after my 7 year old Whirlpool started falling apart & leaking with the hope that it will last long enough to be worth the expense -- so many brands (Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Kenmore, etc.) are made by the same manufacturer, the problems carry over between machines. Extensive research led me to switching to Bosch as the best in dishwashers; I've had it for a month and so far have been completely pleased with it's performance. Some reviewers had complained about a hot plastic smell when the machine is first used; that is true, but I didn't find it overwhelming, it doesn't come off on the dishes, and it fades over time. Others have complained about dishes (especially plastic) not drying; plastic won't retain the heat from the hot water, so plastic items may stay wet, but the ceramic & glass will dry just fine as long as you leave the door shut for a bit when a wash is completed. @@@@@@@@ Plastic items often stayed wet with my Whirlpool too, even with a heated dry cycle. @@@@@@@ The Pros: it cleans well, it's very quiet, and the 3rd rack is very useful for my large knives/utensils as well as very small items. The adjustable 2nd rack height allows for flexibility in my washing needs. The "energy saver" wash setting takes an hour less than it did on my old Whirlpool. The pocket handle version of this model that I originally wanted would have taken an extra month to deliver, so I had to settle for this version of the 300 series; I don't love the front location of the controls or the brightness of the digital display on this model, but I do like seeing how much time remains on the cycle. All in all it does what I need it to do. The Cons: my biggest concern is that the plastic parts (particularly the top rack and the height adjustment levers on the 2nd rack) are very flimsy. The installer actually warned me to be gentle, and never to adjust the height of the 2nd rack if the dishes & glasses were already loaded, saying "they're only plastic." Too much strength sliding the 3rd rack out will pull it right off the tracks. For me it's not a deal-breaker as I'm not rough on my appliances, but I won't be having my teenage son load & unload for me. Other than that the only "con" is that it doesn't seem to hold quite as much as my old Whirlpool did (the silverware basket can be taken out completely, but can't be mounted on the door to make more rack space). Time will tell how the parts hold up over time and regular use. With my Whirlpool, the rubber and plastic began to break down within 5 years and by 7 it was falling apart. My hope is that I can get at least a decade out of the Bosch.

Our small (6-7 person) office has had 3 dishwashers in 13 years. It gets less use than it would have in a 5-member family because it's only run once a day about 4 days a week (and not at all on weekends. @@@@@@@ So I guess the first two we had weren't very good. But I've waited 4 months to review this Bosch just to make sure I knew the unit. THIS THING IS AMAZING!! Whoever designed this machine hit it outta the park!! EVERY single complaint I had about the old machines or dream I had for a new one has been addressed, fixed, corrected, implemented!! It has so many cool design features that it's not even funny! [Plate racks that let you adjust for the number and thickness of the dishes you want to wash / upper pull-out basket has rows on both sides for glasses and cups--with each side's row of a slightly different width / a fold-down "holder" for stemmed wine glasses / Easy "Drop-Down" adjustment on the upper pull-out basket if you need more room up top and less height on the bottom/ Removable utensil baskets with separate "fold back" covers / Utensil covers with "holes" of varying sizes to accommodate knives and forks WITH LARGER WIDTH HANDLES / Utensil baskets of varying DEPTHS (so smaller spoons don't fall down the rabbit hole and disappear! @@@@@@@ / A REMOVABLE-WASHABLE FOOD FILTER/STRAINER ON THE FLOOR OF THE DISHWASHER :-O / And a bonus pull-out "drawer" at the top especially for longer knives and utensils! It has an actual HEATER to help dry the dishes, but because of that, we can now adjust the washing and drying cycles to something shorter than A DAY AND A HALF!! @@@@@@@@ Seriously...shortest cycle on the dishwasher before this one was over 3 hours because it had no heating element. It was counting on the residual heat from the wash water to "dry" the dishes---which rarely actually happened. But best of all, it actually cleans the dishes! And it does so with hardly any noise! @@@@@@@@ Disclaimer: we DO make it a practice to pre-rinse, but we did that before and there would STILL be gunk with both of the old dishwashers. @@@@@@@ My only beef is that we still have water left over in the wells of any concave bottom cups or mugs we wash. But with so much else going for it, I can live with that!!] -- This Bosch wasn't the Top-of-the-line, price-wise, but it sure behaves like it!! I'd happily recommend the Bosch 300 Series dishwasher to anyone wanting a good-looking, quiet, flexible, fully-featured, efficient dishwasher for their home or small office. Both thumbs enthusiastically WAY UP!!
