Love the third rack, runs very quiet. Not a fan of no heating element as the inside stays moist unless you open the door for awhile after washing but supposedly this is a better washing method

Sent the first dishwasher back (Kitchenaide) because we didn't like the controls being on the inside. Exchanged for this one and couldn't be happier. It is so quiet you never even notice it running! Also love the recessed handle with controls on the outside! Perfect for us!

This was a replacement for a GE Profile that was in the house we moved into last June. while not that old, the GE was corroded inside just wasn't cleaning dishes well. We had a Bosch in our old house that we like very much, so it wasn't much of decision to buy another. The main difference between this and our previous one is that the new one has a display on the front of the door that allows us to see how much time is left in a cleaning. Otherwise, it works perfectly; it's quiet, easy to use, cleans well, and has options that are useful. I highly recommend Bosch dishwashers.

We like everything about our new Bosch except the SMALL interior size. The display DW was atop another dishwasher!! We could not properly judge the interior size (in retrospect). The MANAGER did not point out the difference!!! Unbelievable. We have always been so impressed with previous managers that we took him at his word when we asked about advantages and disadvantages. Goodbye Best Buy.

Very disappointed. Does not dry dishes well. And the inside of the dishwasher is always wet and has a musty smell to it. Also the racks are not laid out very well. The top rack works fine if you have small cups, but it is difficult to fit my medium and large cups. I had to remove the third rack to fit my cups. My old dishwasher fit many more dishes and it dried well. I miss my old dishwasher. Very unhappy : @@@@@@@@

Cleans dishes just fine. The adjustable top rack is a pain to adjust up and down. If you don't use a lot of dishes (small family, single person) the inside starts to ABSOLUTELY WREEK with a sewer like smell as your waiting to fill it up which could take days. I've read another review that said the same. In order for your dishes to dry completely you need to open it after cycle finishes, shake off all the water that had collected on top of cups and other places like Tupperware lips and lids and leave the door open a few inches for a couple hours and dishes will dry. I had a new Samsung dishwasher recently at other house and the door automatically opened at end of cycle to dry dishes. That would've been a nice feature here. This is an energy saving feature so if you're wondering if it's because the dishwasher is junk that's not the reason. It's so it can be energy star and efficient. However, it should come with an option to bypass this if you need dishes washed and DRIED quickly like during the holidays. Not sure if I could recommend this because of the horrible smell.

Read a lot of reviews before deciding to buy this Bosch dishwasher. It's a pretty quiet machine and cleans very well. However, it's kind of annoying that it doesn't vent out the steam. I need to make sure that I open the door after the cycle is complete; otherwise, there is a lot of condensation on the door and the interior starts to smell moldy. Also, the interior is considerably smaller than our last dishwasher--even after you take out the ridiculously large silverware container (and use the top slide out tray instead). I bought the model with the display on the front panel, so no red dot on the floor. It's easy to use and completes the cycle in about 2 1/2 hours (normal cycle with sanitize and extra heat dry). The dishes do come out dry, the only water on them is the small amount deposited on the bottom rim of our coffee mugs. For the price range it still might be one of the better ones out there. Finally, I totally recommend purchasing (whatever you finally decide to get) from Best Buy--their service technicians who installed it were very friendly, professional, and took additional steps (at no additional charge) to insure proper installation.

The dishwasher is VERY quiet, which is nice. What we needed to get used to was the fact that things aren't completely dry when done. They are Mostly dry when using the Extra Dry setting and Fairly dry when just using the Auto setting. You definitely need to use a rinsing aid (Like Finish Jet Dry). This more or less helps the water SLIDE off the sides of the washer and the items inside. If the item is made of light weight plastic, it does not completely dry, but heavier plastics and dishes, etc, do dry. Because there is not a heating element, you can put plastics on the lower rack as well. The 3rd rack on top is handy for things like lids and spatulas. We've heard from people that have a weekend lake place that they ran the washer before they left and when they returned some days later, there was mold inside, so you may not want one for a lake place. You can try opening the door a bit some time after the cycle is done and leaving it open to help some of the water evaporate, but I would say that most things are dry when I go to empty it. For those things that aren't, I leave them in the dishrack on the counter to finish them off.
