Best dishwasher ever!! It's quiet and has tons of room!!

Purchased open box because the price was excellent. My previous dish washer hadn't died, but was 15 years old and I figured it was time. I LOVE the new Bosch. It is sooooo quiet. Took a little getting used to the new stacking arrangement, but I'm so glad I made the purchase.

This unit has such a large capacity I have just now completely filled it one week after installation. I love the sharp appearance as it completes my stainless steel newly acquired purchases. The manual clearly explains all features. I am now ready to utilize my Bosch dishwasher for the first wash. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Dishwasher works great, cleans good and is very quiet.

Unit cleans dishes and has 3 racks for use. It is very quite, So quite it has to project a light on the floor. Con is the center spray will loosen up fall off if you don't tighten the holder occasionally.

The Bosch 500 works great. Dishes, pot and pans are consistently clean. Based on reviews we had read, we were a little concerned about drying capabilities but have been pleased with the performance. One caution: to avoid odors, don't leave dirty dishes in the washer over night; wash them right away.

I feel like this is an overpriced dishwasher. Many people recommended this product to me however I don't feel like it was money well spent. You have to use a rinse aid or else nothing in the dishwasher will be dry. I had the rinse aid and used the extra dry option but still had to hand dry my dishes. If the water does not drain it will leave an unpleasant smell when you open the door. There is also a bonus third rack but it takes away from the height of the top rack and is rarely used. If I had to say anything positive about this is that it is silent.

Quiet, can watch TV while it is operating. Cleans well and as advertised. Third drawer ideal for cutlery.

3rd rack is great on this and it has almost all the features of the 800 series for a little less. The pocket handle on the 500 is nice touch since it is more seamless, better for smaller galley kitchen, and blends in well with other appliances since no obvious brand/logo on the front.

The Bosch 500 series is replacing a Kitchen Aid dishwasher in our home and the difference isn't even close. If you are considering a Kitchen Aid you need to stop and immediately switch gears and purchase the Bosch. The Kitchen Aid never cleaned our dishes well. We basically had to clean then prior to putting them in the dishwasher... it just didn't have enough cleaning power. The Bosch on the other hand is night and day better. I finally have confidence that if I put a dirty dish in the dishwasher it will actually get clean. I'll never buy another brand of dishwasher ever again. Bosch is the best!

Overall, it is a great dishwasher. It gets four stars because, even with the extra dry cycle, plastics are not very dry.

We purchased this despite a little trepidation from reading some of the reviews. Fortunately, we have not been disappointed. This is a great dishwasher that operates quietly and efficiently. We did not experience any of the issues with smell noted by many reviewers.

Modern look. Only time you know it is running is on the drain cycle. Results improved when you use rinse agent.

This was a replacement of equipment that was installed when the house was built. Toughest part was undoing everything the previous owner didn't do correctly. Once that was taken care of the install was a snap. New dishwasher works great-- super quiet.
