We love the flexibility of the racks and the fact you can put plastic items on any rack. An added bonus is how quiet it is.

We were replacing an old Bosch dishwasher that was no longer cleaning dishes efficiently and we would have to rewash several items. After reading reviews we decided to buy Bosch again but we are having the same problems. I clean the filter often, run empty cleaning cycles and keep the drying agent full so I don’t understand why we’re still getting residue on half of the dishes and they’re coming out with dirty puddles over everything. So frustrated.

For everyday use we recommend the Auto Cycle, which is best for mixed loads of dishes with varying amounts of food soil. It is also recommended to scrape off any excess food soil but not to rinse dishware so that you leave residues and sauces behind for better cleaning performance. The dishes that aren't pre washed don't come out clean though. Peanut butter doesn't come off. After almost 2 weeks it randomly started shutting off in the middle of the wash cycle.

Worst decision I’ve ever made on a appliance. Read the reviews and never saw anyone mention this does not have a heating element in it. When I took it out of the box there was water inside. This was NOT a used unit either. Rinsing agent helps a lot. But haven’t done a load yet where you don’t have to dry off the water on everything.

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. To improve drying results, we recommend turning on the Intensive Drying feature. It is very quiet compared to our nearly 30 year old Maytag that finally gave out, but, and for me it's a very large but, it does not dry the dishes anywhere near as well! If you have anything that holds water it will be full when the dishes are done. Mainly this is a problem with plastic storage containers, they need to be placed completely upside down, and the lids need to be verticle. While I thought the upper rack would be really nice for silverware, spoons need to face down only and even then the results are not great for any of the utensils we've washed so far. There are many cycles and options, and frankly my wife has basically no idea how to use them. With the user manual only being available online it is highly unlikely she will read it, so now I get to add full time dish loader to the list. Thanks Bosch, not! If I had it to do over, I would have gone to a simpler, cheaper, and louder dishwasher.

Please note that plastic items do not retain heat as well as other dishware materials and won't dry as quickly. Your model has an additional drying feature, AutoAir®, which automatically releases the door at the end of the cycle to allow fresh air in and moisture out for better drying results. Install was less than stellar. They changed the plumbing and I have struggled to get it

Their Customer service is no good at all. They tell me an expert will call me. NEVER HAPPENED! SO I have a 1000 dollar useless piece of garbage! Buy anything else!
