Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This dishwasher has a well known defect: It has a foul odor because it doesn't pump out the water well at the end of cycle. Read through the reviews, it's a common problem. If you call the help line, they will tell you to run a sanitize cycle with a bowl full of white vinegar. This is only a one cycle fix. We had a prior dishwasher hooked up and replaced it inline with this Bosch 500. The old dishwasher NEVER had this problem. Until they send this back to the engineers to design a fix, you will probably experience the same problem. It looks nice, when the controls don't get locked up it runs through its cycle and generally cleans the dishes well, but it leaves a god awful egg like smell on the dishes. For this reason, I am entirely repentant for trusting this brand and paying extra for something that was poorly engineered. I'm giving it one star for cleaning because the dirty smell on the dishes make it unusable. Bosch should recall this machine or update the program to have it empty out the hose, or whatever the problem is.
