I've tried every combination I can find, and yes I'm including the Auto Air functionality, but every single run I'm left with pools of water on cups that have flipped over, lids in the silverware tray, etc. It's nothing that a quick shake can't "fix," but having to worry about stacking wet dishes into the cupboard isn't quite what I expected from a $1000 machine.

It is puzzling that there are so many poor reviews from regular folks like us, yet Consumer Reports rates these dishwashers so highly. We used our newly installed 500 Series one time, and decided to go back to Best Buy to see if we could exchange it. The capacity of the unit is smaller than most dishwashers of the same size. Dishes on the bottom did not completely dry, and glass washed on the bottom rack of the dishwasher on the bottom streaked noticeably. I will say this, this Bosch dishwasher was dead quiet, but its performance left us unhappy. Thankfully, Best Buy gladly accommodated an exchange, and facilitated our search for a unit possessing the features and performance we desired. Five stars for Best Buy, but only a single star for Bosch.

It looks very nice and the controls look easy to use. I've had it now for 3 1/2 weeks (after being delivered a couple of weeks late) but this week is the earliest they could get someone to come fix it. I will repost and hopefully upgrade my review.

Overall, dishwasher is quiet which I like but cleaning fingerprints off constantly is overwhelming.
