The Bosch dishwasher does a wonderful job. The only problem is that the Rinse Aid container does not hold the liquid; it just spills out.

Came damaged from the store but didn't notice until u unwrapped it. Bosch is replacing damaged parts under warranty. Other than that its a great dishwasher!

The AutoAir feature seems great, until you realize it’s stopped working three weeks in. The idea is great but the unit isn’t as well designed. Don’t buy this unless you want to deal with service later. Google and you can find more tales of woe regarding the AutoAir issue.

odor smells. i'll never buy a bosch appliance again. a shame because it cleans well. i've read bad reviews on this model and they're true. bottom line: these models do not flush the water out of the bottom of the unit. water sits in the bottom tray and smells. i called bosch and they said it was out of warranty but i could pay they're tech $$ for service. i'll put any new money on the Amana I shoulda bought,

The machine cleans the dishes and silverware very well. It is vey quiet. The problem is with the drying. The dishes and silverware are damp or wet when the cycle is finished. The booklet says it cleans by condensation but it doesn’t work very well. I wouldn’t buy it again

Nothing but the disappointment since pretty much day one. Does not clean well, requires a meticulously accurate loading, and still wine glasses not cleaned well every third time. Drying is simply awful. And I do everything by the book. This is most expensive dishwasher I have ever had and hands down the worst one. I was planning to write a review a long time ago but did not have time. A month or so ago, control panel begun to malfunction. I can't switch between modes, from auto to rinse and so on. The only way to switch would be reset the machine, turn it off and turn back on. Yesterday, It just simple stopped working. I checked the filter, drain pipe, all good. Disconnected from power source, conducted a reset a few times. Machine is on, it beeps when you close a door, light on the floor is on, but it does not work. It hasn't been the year so, I hope warranty will cover it, but it's not what you expect from an expensive appliance. Who knows how many days my family will have to do without a dishwasher.

Bosch is total garbage, and their customer service is even worse. Had dishwasher for eight months and the door module sensor and auto open feature both broke. It’s taken nearly a month for bosch to send the parts for repair. Will never buy bosch products again.

Loving our new dishwasher! Lots more room inside than our old one (though after 22 years it didn't owe us anything!). The very top rack is perfect for silverware but can also hold thinner ramekins and smaller bowls, leaving more room in the regular top rack for glasses and mugs. Does a fine job on wine glasses, although I still like to hand-wash those and dry by hand. Super-quiet, red light on the floor tells you it's working. Longer cycle time than our old one but can't complain, given the job it's doing. Set it at night and you'll wake up with clean dishes (the Air Dry feature cracks the door to help any remaining water dry). Note the physical dimensions will take up nearly all usable space under cabinet. We had water and drain lines coming out of the tile floor in the back of the old d/w, and had to modify these slightly to accommodate. Probably won't be an issue with newer homes that have traditional lines routed through the back sides of cabinets. Highly recommend and I don't think we needed to step up to the 800 Series. For us, this 500 is the right mix of price, performance and features.

Dishes clean and works great. Took a couple times using to figure out all the options so the 4 star instead 5 as manual was minimal.

We like everything about this model. Especially the AutoAir option and that the door opens at the end of the cycle.
