    The dishwasher worked and it dried the dishes, but the dishwasher itself did not dry. Days later, there was still condensation in the dishwasher. I planned to exchange it for the same dishwasher, to give it "another try," but you were out of stock.

    Zero resolution from the installation team; hours on hold with the geek squad; hours waiting for the geek squad to no show; error message if I use the dishwasher (and it doesn’t work) and now $1K out with no working dishwasher still

    Can't rate the washer at this time. I discovered a leak after the install that occurred on the 17th of October. Geek squad can't return to the 19th of November which is ridiculous. this rating is for the insulation.

    Absolutely not satisfied, it 's trays to put dishes in are bad and the door is so cheap what can I tell you it is an appliance that I do not recommend to anyone, poorly constructed just a terrible dishwasher.

    Bosch 500 Series Dishwasher.

    This Bosch dishwasher was a disappointment, as it did not dry the dishes. The racks and entire inside of the machine stayed wet, and the dishes appeared to be dry until you pulled out the racks, and water dripped all over the flatware and dishes. I had to use three dishtowels to wipe down the dishes, racks and inside of the machine, top sides and base.

    After 6 months the unit had a hinge issue and subsequent electrical component problems. Had to return exchange it for another dishwasher.

    No idea how this works. Installation has not been completed even though I've had this sitting out of the box for over 10 days. If you have an older home, think 1980s, make sure the tech brings the proper installation kit, and also properly sets the follow up appointment (ours did not) and be aware that you will be charged for extra parts (I get, that's ok) AND for a return visit!!! Not ok with that part. Geek Squad has been no help. By the time this would be installed and tried out it will be past the time for possible return.

    Not thrilled with this dishwasher. It was completely wet inside when we received it and now has a funky smell to it. Ran it twice and the upper rotating cleaning jet fell off during use and had to re-run the whole load. Nothing dries so everything is sopping wet after being run. Would not recommend!

    Bosch has gone down in quality and in cleaning. The added top shelf has little value and forced the silverware drawer to be on the bottom shelf. The silverware does not clean well. This was a sad move down hill from the first Bosch we bought 8 years ago. Only good news is it is quite and the red light on the floor when it is running is a good addition.

    Greatly enjoying this dishwasher. Cleans like a dream, love the Auto Air feature. Quiet and efficient. I like the little red light on the floor that tells you its working. Stylish design, Also want to shout out my installer, He was very professional, capable and helpful. The entire experience of replacing my old broken dishwasher was a pleasure thanks to the quality of the product, the convenience of the delivery/installation/pickup service, and the friendly professionalism of my installer.

    Absolutely loved this dishwasher at first, but the auto air stoped working after 30 days and Best Buy delivered a new one and now this one is doing the same thing.

    High end dishwashers should have a high end feel. While competent, the racks seem cheaply made and weighted.

    We had a terrific experience with the installation but unit is a struggle as it wont turn on and we have to continue to reset to get it going. Very disappointing

    NO "DRY" CYCLE PER SE!

    This Bosch 500 dishwasher is supposed to be one of the best dishwashers on the market, per reviews from various retailers and internet sites. Unfortunately, I had to purchase this dishwasher online during the lock-down. Nowhere did I read that this model does not have a "dry cycle". The manufacturer relies on a "condensation drying process". Which must mean air dry. So my dishes are not dry once the dishwasher completes the wash cycles. Sometimes they have condensation all over them requiring the dishes to be hand dried or left for hours to air dry. If you have time to let your dishes air dry for hours or don't mind hand drying buy this dishwasher. If not, buy the Bosch 800 series which appears to have a real drying cycle or purchase a unit from a different manufacturer. Very disappointed with this product.

    PROS: Excellent Best Buy online support & delivery. Has adjustable 3rd rack that we use for silverware & remove the 2 holders from the bottom rack to load more dishes. Cleans dishes well (but so did our 15yo Whirlpool we replaced). Extremely quiet. Modern look without advertising Bosch name on front. Straightforward installation except as noted below. CONS: Water supply line connection is in back, so you must open the hot water valve & check for leaks before pushing the dishwasher in place (bad design). Silverware holders are much cheaper than our Whirlpool. Bottom toe panel sits too high to screw into the supplied bracket, so I attached it with black Velcro strips (bad design, better fix). Shortest wash cycle is 60 minutes (our Whirlpool had a comparable 30 minute fast wash). Dishes do not dry even with the Auto Air option. Geek Squad extended warranty is transferable but Bosch 1yr warranty is not in case you plan to sell your home. Nice looking but not worth $1100 -- were I to do it again, I'd spend a few $$ to maintain the Whirlpool, which will probably outlive the expensive Bosch.
