In my opinion it is better than the 800 series bosch dishwasher

My best friend and my eldest daughter both own Bosch dishwashers and urged us to buy one because of its excellent performance. After having it installed several weeks ago we definitely agree with their assessment. We're so glad we made this purchase.

This is a solid dishwasher. It cleans very well and there are no smell issues, as others have reported. The complaints are that it is quite noisy and it’s tough to load if one does not use traditional style cereal bowls (i.e. shallow bowls).

We got this dishwasher about two years ago and it has been fantastic. At first it seemed to be leaving water stains, but we learned that was because we hadn’t filled the rinse aid! Once we filled that up, everything was great! The auto open after dry mode is great - the washer just pops open when done. It has an intuitive red light it shines on the floor to indicate if it’s washing or done. I like this much better than an LED on the washer itself as it offers a much cleaner look. If the light is on, it’s washing. If it’s blinking, something is wrong (just need to restart it after opening it mid cycle usually)

I wanted to love the dishwasher but after 3 years, it didn't rinse the soap off my glasses. I have to do a separate 9 minute rinse after each 2 hour cycle. I called Bosch and they said to have it serviced. I'm really disappointed :( as I paid over $1,000 for this unit and it only lasted 3 years??????

Excellent dishwasher in that it cleans really well. Only problem I had was figuring out how to change settings. Directions in manual were not very clear.

Cannot say enough about the dishwasher. It washes dishes perfectly clean. The customer service was superb!

Last less than 3 years. Do NOT waste your money. At the time of purchase this dishwasher was priced around $900 +. I bought it & had professionally installed. In 3/24, it stopped working. Needed motor rebuilt. With part & labor the repair would have exceeded cost of new dishwasher. Bosch was NO real help- they offered me 20% off parts— ridiculous- about $100.

I’ve owned this for over a year and I’m very happy with it. Initially I thought it was broken because I couldn’t hear it working, it was that quiet. The top shelf is really smart, letting you group and lay utensils flat instead of dumping them into a basket. Some of the instructions for changing settings were unclear and even incorrect but I persevered. This dishwasher is worth the praise.

Nothing exciting just a Bosch dishwasher :) Our second Bosch. This time series 500. On our previous one I had to replaced drain pump once. Which is an easy task. 10 year and the motor gone. So here we go with another cycle of next 10 years, hopefully.

I bought a Bosch on personal recommendation. Best Buy made the purchase easy, after first trying to buy it from Lowes (what a horrid hassle!) It ran well for two years and has begun to fall apart. At least three issues going on at one time. I called Best Buy and was told that it was only covered for one year, since I had not bought the extended warranty. I tried finding an appliance repairman to fix it for my tenants. Most repairmen in Hawaii will not touch a Bosch. I finally found a repairman through HomeAdvisor. 2-3 weeks just to get parts for one of the issues, and about 60% of the purchase price for the repairs.

Have had this about 3 years. Had a problem with it right out of the gate. Then started getting errors almost every time it runs. Have had service on it at least 6 times, replaced main wash pump, replaced drain pump. Still getting errors. I'm writing this review now because I'm on the BB site to scope out a new non-Bosch product. Tired of dealing with this piece of junk.

Had it for 2 weeks. Used it daily, sometimes twice a day. Most of the time used “heavy” cycle. “Half load” cycle is completely useless as it not wash dishes at all. Pros: 1. quite, very quite 2. Electrical cord included (plug&play for ease of installation, if installing yourself) 3. Infrared light on the bottom of the unit is on if machine is still running, no light when cycle is done. Helpful as unit is extremely quite and you don’t know if cycle is still running. Cons: 1. does not wash well (tried every cycle with recommended dish soap and dish placements). Has to rewash about 25% off the dishes, pans loaded all the time 2. Does not dry at all (tried every cycle with auto air option and recommended rinse aid). All dishes still wet. If overnight wash with auto air option selected some dishes still come out wet and those which are dry come out with stains. 3. Very cheap quality for $1k dishwasher (except stainless steel tub) 4. 3rd rack is useless if you have a lot of dishes, pans, and pots to wash. You have to remove it to accommodate larger plates in the 2nd rack. 5. Mechanical buttons on $1k dishwasher? Replaced it with equivalent price unit ($1k) from LG which eliminates cons number 1,2,3,5 and pros 2,3.

Dishwasher was fine for 2 years, but there was some bending of the inner door just from normal use. Warranty is 1 year. Not replaceable. Paid 1k for a dishwasher that lasted 2 years...

It lasted 9 months and then broke. I called Bosch and they said the waranty only covers 1 repair shop in the metropolitan area i live in. The repair time to simply evaluate the unit was almost 2 weeks. I would say this reflects poorly on Bosch to have such problematic units that the repair schedule is so booked. I actually paid someone else to evaluate the issue but the fix is with the control board of the unit. If I could start over I would not buy this brand due to poor manufacturing.

My husband bought this dishwasher in white and it was scheduled to be delivered on Sept. 19th. When it was not delivered, they told him it would be February before we got it. A very nice manager at Best Buy cut through the red tape and found the dishwasher and we finally got it about a week later. It's beautiful and it doesn't work. We called one of the local Bosch repairmen and he came out, ordered a new part and put it in three days ago. I ran the dishwasher and, again, ended up with an error code. I am a diehard Bosch fan. Bought my first Bosch dishwasher when we bought out house in 1994. Replaced that dishwasher with a 300 series more than a dozen years later and it worked perfectly until a fiber optics installer cut our water line and repaired the line improperly. It ruined our dishwasher and I spent months getting them to replace the dishwasher they broke. Now, going on five months later, I have a beautiful machine sitting in my kitchen that is dead as a doornail. It hasn't even processed one load. I know Bosch is better than this, but am so tired of not having a working dishwasher.

Worked for a few years, geeksquad could not repair in the end. Look elsewhere.
