Fits in my kitchen nicely, water & ice features are new for me, delivery technicians were prompt & reversed the door & hooked up water to fridge with professional, quick service.

This Amana (Whirlpool) is small, required for my built in space, but the space utilization inside is not very good. Shelf adjustment is very limited, and freezer space is wasted to the ice maker unnecessarily. It has a small compressor so it takes a very long time to cool down, and a long time to recover if the door is opened a lot. It did not have a deli drawer (I added one from my old refrigerator) and the light bulbs inside were incandescent (160 watts of heat!!!) I changed the bulbs to LED for $12...no heat. Good news is that it uses almost half the energy that my 21 year old Kenmore (Fridgidaire) used. Awesome packaging makes handling a breeze during installation.

I am not sure which is worse, the refrigerator or the manufacturer repair service provider for Amana in the Phoenix area. This units fridge side temps have ranged from 31 degrees to 52 degrees. The average temperature has been 48F degrees. The freezer side temps have ranged from -1 to 35F degrees. It frequently goes above 32F allowing ice cubes to melt and run out of the freezer side and food unthaws. We have been trying to get this unit repaired since June. The service company canceled and rescheduled the first call. The return trip to go back and repair (Trip #2) was also canceled and rescheduled. And although we called to ensure the tech would have the parts for the second trip, Guinco arrived for their rescheduled appointment without the part. They did come back the following day and installed the parts. Unfortunately that did not solve the wide swings in temperatures. The same issues persist and I have thrown on large volumes of spoiled food - some even well within expiration date and factory sealed are molding in this refrigerator. I have repeatedly contacted Amana's CEO and Nicole at their executive desk has taken a "wait and see" approach to resolve our issue. Given the quality of their product and service, I want my money refunded and I do not want to try another one of these. I believe this is just one lemon out of many Amana lemons. Buyer beware on this horrible unit!!

We purchased this refrig for two reasons. Wanted side by side with ice/water in the door and smaller refrig as wrap around kitchen cabinets only allowed for a smaller refrig to fit in the space. The refrig has three temperture setting, no meat draw, and three refrig shelves that do not touch the back wall causing items to fall down the back to bottom crisper bins. Crisper bins are a snug fit not a smooth glide. If forced open the crisper plastic track will crack and no longer support the drawer. Door water is not cold. Must use CUBE ice as CHIPPED ICE on any of the three settings constantly freezes up in the ice maker. Ice restarts after by hand you force the frozen ice from the freezer's mechanism to allow new ice to form.

Its a good refrigerator size was spot on. the only problem it does make a little noise expecially with the ice maker but other than that its a pretty good deal.

Researched and eventually purchased refrigerator as a replacement for a smaller unit. Although the unit is smaller, it has ample space and shelving for individual users or small families - Great value!

Have never had a side by side. It has all of the space that we need. Easier to get into and see what is inside.

After much searching for a refrigerator that met the space requirements AND had an ice maker and water dispenser, I found the Amana Side by side. The delivery crew was great, and the refrigerator is wonderful. Looks good, fits right, and has all the features I wanted.

Love my new refrigerator. Io is spacious and has many shelves on the inside door. The drawers have clear fronts so you can see what is inside without opening them.

You can't beat the quality for the price. With filtered water and ice on the door, it really saves money on bottled water. I love the glossy white finish. I recommend swapping the interior bulbs for LEDs to cut down on heat.
