Super quiet! We're a family of four so the 3rd row drawer for spoons and forks is great to have. Remove the basket and the bottom drawer has a lot more space. It's pricey but at least the power cord and drain hose are included. So far everything comes out clean. Don't like the plastic feet...probably should be metal. During installation, it would've been nice if the front feet adjusted up/down like the rear.

Choices are limited for 18" machines - you pretty much have "bottom end" and "high end". After a few years of frustration with the former, we decided to bite the bullet and go with the latter. The 3rd drawer drastically increases useability - we removed the basket from the bottom tray, and use the third drawer for cutlery etc, and it holds nearly as much as a regular 24'. It also gets the dishes EXTREMELY clean, whether baked on or just grubby. It also completely lives up to its claims of being near-silent. I literally have to put my ear against it to check whether it's running or not. We had a terrible installation experience with BB (never again!), but the machine itself is outstanding, and highly recommended.

I would give this 10 stars if I was able to! I love the third rack and the dishes come out so clean and shiny. This dishwasher is so quiet I can barely hear it run when I am standing next to it. I would highly recommend this product!!!! It was so worth spending a little extra to get the best!

Purchased this dishwasher as a replacement in a galley kitchen. The apartment is under 800 sq. ft. The decibel level was the primary consideration. Amazing! And the Bosch does a very good job cleaning the dishes. Fiestaware fits nicely. Particularly like the third drawer silverware tray.

This dishwasher is VERY quiet. I just installed it last week and so far so good. It comes with everything you need to install - drain hose and adapter supplied fit my air gap. Both hardwired box and regular three prong plug cane with the unit. I used the three prong plug. The water supply hose had an adapter supplied that attached to a 3/8 fitting on my water supply. Installation went very smoothly following the manual. There are conflicting instructions regarding the size and location of the cutout to pass the hoses and electrical cord to the cabinet under the sink but is relatively easy to figure out once the unit is in front of you. The dishes come out a bit wet if you take them out at the end of the cycle. Otherwise it works very well. A little small for big pots but it is an 18 inch unit so I didn’t expect it to be large. Because we are in Hawaii I had to special order the dishwasher . It arrived at the store a few days early which was a big surprise. I had previously ordered one of these from a competitor and it took 3 months to receive one that was dented. The Best But unit came in pristine condition.

The Bosch 18” dishwasher is perfect for us. I prefer the exterior display and no handle. Three trays inside is great. Dishes get cleaned really well. We replace a Miele and this one has it beat everywhere. It had a small dent in the door but I didn’t notice until installed. I’m not going to worry about it and it cleans the same.

This machine produces sparkling clean dishes and glasses. I have so much more time with my wife since I usually did the dishes. No salt, no jet rinse, just Finish tablets do a fantastic job. And SSOOOO quiet!!

For an 18" dishwasher, this has loads of room - the third rack makes all the difference. It is super quiet and cleans like a dream!

We didn't have much choice and needed a narrow dishwasher. This fitted, was of good quality and is very quiet. Have had good success with Bosch in the past so expect this to be reliable.

Love the dishwasher. Very quiet. Barely audible when in the same room. Cleans dishes very well. Accustomed to manual washing of our dishes, and find our dishes now are just as clean, if not cleaner.

If you're buying an 18 inch dishwasher than you're probably worried about space. This is the only dishwasher that use space effectively. It's logic...you put the smallest stuff in the smallest space. Plus no more thinking which end of the fork to put in first. You can just lay it on the side. Spend the extra, it's worth it.

I love my new dishwasher, extremely quite and seems to work great. It actually fits more items as compared to regular 18” dishwasher as it has another draw on the top. Stylish and seems to be great quality product!

Super quiet/works great. The one thing I don't like about the dishwasher is the bottom is unfinished when you level it.

Great dishwasher for small spaces, huge capacity considering it's a 18" unit! Very quiet, we couldn't believe it the first time we ran it! For 2 people it's perfect--we run it about every other day.

Bosch dishwasher works great, dishes very clean. Very quite while running, you almost think it is not working.

Have had this unit for 20 months. If loaded correctly, gets the dishes clean. [I wish there were more choices for apartment (18") size dishwashers.] Ran very quite at first, but then got louder and developed a knocking sound. Under warranty had two repair men out, couldn't find problem and tried a few different parts. Finally figured was the middle rack height adjustment pieces became unaligned. Everything inside is plastic and kind of cheap for the price we paid. Now we have to check those pieces every few washes. I just hope they don't completely wear out. Also, the drying is terrible. Uses super high heat, but does not vent out the humid air, so really never dries, just condenses on the walls of the unit. Therefore unit begins to smell unless you leave the door open for a half day or so after use. Soap dispenser, seems so weak and ready to break or wear out soon and is hard to close. Also, the door seems light for the hinge/spring tension and feels cheap. However, I am comparing this to the Miele we had before for 20+ years. It still looked and operated like new, until a computer control panel went out which was too expensive to replace on a 20+ year old machine. Since the Bosch cost only 2/3rds of the Miele, we though we could give it a try. It looks good from the front, but otherwise seems much cheaper construction and materials than the Miele and wish we had paid the higher price and be proud of our purchase.

There are generally two brands you want to buy for dishwashers which are German. Miele or Bosch. Miele is about twice the cost of the bosch though. Also got free installation and the staff at my local Best Buy/Pacific Sales were great!

This is an extremely nice Bosch Dishwasher. I REALLY REALLY like the 3rd Shelf. My kitchen was built only for the smaller 18" dishwasher instead of a normal 24" so it was harder to get everything washed in one load. This extra shelf does help that a lot and makes this dishwasher feel much bigger. I feel Bosch has a high quality product and I have been very happy with it and problem free. You do NOT have to use salt, you can turn that off - it tells you how to in the manual.

Matches the stainless appliances we have in the kitchen. Fits perfect into the small studio kitchen. Well worth the cost. Inside is exactly like the standard size Bosch dishwasher including the 3rd top shelf. The heigh seemed to sit lower then a standard dishwasher but we were able to screw the legs to put it higher so it sat under the counter top. We were happy to find something small to fit so I don’t have to hand wash dishes. Yippee!!
