Good refrigerator. The doors are the main flaw. The 4" doors hit the oven and microwave when open all the way and the left drawer will not open unless both the left and right doors are open. Why couldn't the left drawer have been smaller than the right drawer to enable opening only one door to access a drawer? We love the sleek water dispenser.

The elephant in the room

Like having a Mack truck parked in your kitchen. This fridge is handsome but is huge as in wide and tall. It is replacing a GE Profile in black paint that was also counter depth but 1 inch shorter (had to cut my opening.. again) and a half inch wider. That said we love the inside space and lighting! Haven't fully utilized the "special temp/humidity drawers" but it actually does seem to keep our produce fresher longer. They are a bit difficult to pull out full length but it's a learned skill I think more than a design flaw, It also requires another 6 month must replace "filter???" for the ethylene gas capture. a little disappointed in the pyramid ice cubes because they are pretty small, half inch size? The scoop is pretty cool, there is a ton of ice and they do scoop up easily. Also note that the cubes don't stick together which shows the consistency of very cold temperatures. Freezer drawers are a nice feature much better then a deep pile of frozen stuff. Doesn't quite hold as much as older refrigerator but more then makes up for it with organization. It is supremely quiet in operation even the ice cube drop part is not disrupting. The inside water dispenser I'm finding is not really inconvenient and does fill a glass or pitcher very quickly with never a splash. Well thought out design. All in all we are very pleased and getting used to the mass of stainless steel, a few magnetic souvenirs tame down the industrial look. Ignoring my petty complaints, we just love this fridge!

We like the size of it compared with the Samsung we had before. It adds more convenience with the SmartLink with mobile.

Owned the refrigerator for almost 3 months now and ready to review. After searching for a new refrigerator for many, many months and doing a lot of research and reading reviews, finally decided on this one. We were fortunate enough to find an "open box" and never used one at Best Buy for a great price and bought it in December 2020. Our criteria was counter depth, water and ice, and reliable.
Pros: a great looking refrigerator (inside and out) with a minimalistic appearance. Wasn't sure if we would like the internal water dispenser but actually do. Lots of customizable interior space to maximize and organize refrigerator. Quiet and efficient. From everything I have read, this brand is reliable for the long haul and comes with a good track record in Europe.
Neutral: Some complain about the mullion flap being on the right door instead of left side like most others. I feel this is actually best because of frequently accessing the water on the left interior, so indifferent on the placement. Called customer service a couple times at initial set up, it takes a "long" time to get someone to answer the phone (many, many, many rings before answering. Stick with it.) Once in contact with an agent, both have been extremely helpful and super nice (patience will be rewarded).
Cons: Going from a side/side to French door, the freezer section takes a bit to get used to. Where this fridge gains in refrigerator space it loses in freezer space and with the ice bucket taking up some space, really reduced storage capacity from what we were used to. Some won't care, but with a few young kids, freezer space is premium. I like the ice bucket style, but notice that when the bucket is near full, the opening, closing and accessing the ice will sometimes knock a few cubes back behind the drawer. Not a huge deal and does not effect operation, more of an OCD annoyance. Lastly, again with the right side mullion on door and with kids, sometimes need to be purposeful in closing the right side door or won't close all the way (I think it is inherent in the french door design).
Overall: very happy with the purchase at the price we were able to get it. Would buy it again and would recommend it to others, but does have a couple areas with room for improvement.

I never thought I'd get so hyped about a major appliance, but here I am. This is a terrific refrigerator—the counter depth means that it doesn't feel like some looming presence overtaking the kitchen, and no food is lost to the dark recesses of a standard-depth fridge. The design is sleek and thoughtful, and keeps food perfectly chilled and/or frozen while barely making a sound.
It's just me, my wife, and our dog, but we've always had plenty of space to stock up and store things without feeling like we're running out of real estate. We've stored all of our holiday nosh for 10 people comfortably, and the movable shelving allowed the perfect storage for taller items (like wine).

After a month of dozens of phone calls, hours and hours of my time (often during working hours), multiple trips to two different Best Buys, the first delivery being unable to get it up the staircase, a missed delivery that was supposed to have a four-person team, and then a team that was supposed to have four people but had two (three if you include me, since I literally had to help them get it up the staircase myself) this fridge is finally in place in my kitchen. I also had to level the fridge and the doors myself.
It's quiet, beautiful (except for all the dents the non-four-person team put in it), the lighting is excellent, the materials are great and feel high quality. I saw other reviewers mentioning that the water spout drips - this only happens when you first hook it up and need to purge the water filter. The instructions state to run it for about 3 gallons of water and then it's ready to go - after doing this it doesn't drip at all for me.
Fridge - 5/5 Stars
Best Buy - go to hell, never setting foot in your stores again after I get a solution for the dents and something else to compensate me for this horrible, horrible experience.
Stick to local appliance dealers if you can.

Pros: 1) protrudes past the counter less than our old refrigerator. 2) spacious refrigerator compartment (perhaps because the lighting and the stainless steel interior make it look roomier); 3) very even temp around the different parts of the refrigerator (maybe because there is more circulation with more space); 4) great flexibility with shelf placement (this sold us originally compared to others that had more cf but also fewer ways to arrange the space). 5) Bosch takes advantage of the taller size to put another bar at the top to store smaller items that won't be so easily lost.
CONS: 1) not fingerprint proof. The sleek look is easily dirtied. 2) the freezer could use more space. We took out the HUGE ice tray and will be looking to see if we can find a smaller substitute. 3) manual has minimum of explanation-- like how to set the fruit/veggie bins. 4) Bosch technical didn't know how either and just wanted to send out repair (The very nice salesman at Best Buy found a video that showed how). 4) Nobody could really explain the eco setting and if that was different from manually setting the temp at eco temps of 43 and 6. One Bosch person said it was just "vacation" setting although then he couldn't explain the difference between the 2 settings. This mattered because 5) you cannot use "eco" w/out giving up fruit/veggie bin controls (they default to "fruit 32 degrees low humidiity"-- no manual vents to open and close-- all controlled electronically. 6) These bins claim to be able to store meat at 29 degrees (w the rest of the fridge at 37), fruit at 32, etc. The closest I got to the fruit 32 setting was 35 (especially with the rest of the fridge so consistent at 37). Not exactly living up to its claim. It wouldn't be so blatant if they didn't list all the temp settings right on the drawer. So my main frustration is with customer service at Bosch who try to be helpful but seem don't seem properly trained to actually answer basic questions.
Cannot comment on quality since I just got it, but the repair guy Bosch sent out to test the crisper drawers recommended I get an extended warranty.

The refrigerator has very clean lines . Thought we would miss ice and water in door but the water dispenser inside works great. The
Icemaker produces a ton of ice and with the scoop it is easy to fill a glass. It is very quiet. The only negative is the large drawer is tough to open. Feels like it takes effort and because of that feels like it could break.

Excellent refrigerator. Looks great and black stainless prevents fingerprints. Very quiet and lighting is very bright. The water inside is not great. Takes both hands. It is in a bad location. Nice not having the ice maker inside the refrigerator. Ice works great. Overall very satisfied.

So far we love it! Ice maker makes plenty of ice for us and everything works well. No complaints. Love the counter depth as our old refrigerator was way to big for the space in our new home.

Previous fridge was a kenmoore elite, which died completely in <<5 years. After $1000 in repairs. Similar price. The Bosch is quiet, roomy, and well-designed. It cools effectively and delivers everything you would want with a refrigerator. I am not using the smart features, so I can't speak to them. But meat in the meat drawer is still perfectly fresh 2 weeks later (previous fridge meat went bad in <4 days consistently). Extremely happy with performance, design, and water works fine. Only complaint on freezer is ice drawer takes up a full 50% of the top drawer. We turned it off and will turn it back on as-needed if we are ever able to have company again. Easy to clean as well.

We have had this refrigerator for about 1 month and could not be happier. I was initially hesitant to buy this fridge because of the smaller capacity (21 Cu. Ft.) however, we have no issues with space due to the interior design and layout. We can fit all of our miscellaneous jars, bottles, jugs etc. all within the large door shelving. The pull out produce drawers have plenty of space for your fruits, veggies, lunch meat, cheese, and more. The remainder all fits on the shelving with plenty of room to spare. The freezer also has plenty of room with its large chest and built in drawers. The entire unit is well lit with bright LEDs and and looks great with stainless steel accents. We do not have a water line yet so I cannot comment on that. As I said, we have only had it for 1 month so longevity is yet to be tested. However, I am confident in this fridge as I have read that this is newly designed by Bosch and not outsourced.

Dual Compressors are what stands this apart

Super quiet and efficient. One of the best temperature balances in a fridge I’ve seen. They don’t advertise this, but after researching between 500 and 800 series, the 800 series has dual compressors. Which means the freezer and fridge don’t share the same compressor, which makes the temperature so much better between fridge and freezer. It also puts less stress rather than sharing one compressor. This is what sold me.

We love our new Bosh Refrigerator/ Freezer. I was skeptical at first with some of the settings for the vegetable/ fruit being so cold. But it actually makes a big difference. Also the Wifi to check on the refrigerators and get alarms is awesome. I loved that it had 2 compressors so if anything were to go wrong I wouldn't lose everything. I love that I can open the door and get cold water. The water filter is super easy to change and the refrigerator tells you when to do this as well! The unit is very quiet and when we first started it up I thought it was broken. I had bought the GE Cafe french door before, had to return it because it was a nightmare with the noise and quality.

Three-star review is directed more toward Best Buy and not the fridge itself.
Pros: The fridge itself is fantastic. Runs quiet with dual compressors. Easy to adjust and customize shelves. Does roll pretty easy into place on flat surface. Plenty of storage. Great lighting. Truly have no complaints with the fridge itself.
Cons: I did take the chance and bought this as Open Box - excellent. According to this description, there should not have been any exterior damage and all accessories should have been included. When we unwrapped it, we did find a number of scratches on the front. Power cord was also missing, and upon calling the store they said they did not have it there nor did they carry it, and to check Lowe’s or Home Depot for one (FYI neither store carried them and I had to spend extra to get one direct from Bosch).
In conclusion, it’s an expensive fridge that I would have found worth it saving on open-box had the condition of the fridge been consistent with the description.

Can a fridge change your life? Maybe this one can.
The best part of our new kitchen is this beautiful Bosch fridge. Everything works perfectly and I love that I can tell it what to do when I am miles away. It is quiet, the adjustable and programmable temperature settings for each section optimize the shelf life of my fresh food. The clear bins and the layout make everything visible so I am not accidentally buying duplicates. The drawers and shelves help with organization. And it's very good-looking. Make sure your contractor knows the height as it is slightly taller than average. Great fridge!
