This is a very quiet machine that does a very good job of washing the dishes. The drying leaves something to be desired, need a towel for almost the entire load (not just the plastic).

This is a very quiet machine that does a descent job cleaning but is terrible at drying. Leaves the dishes wet even when using the sanitize mode and the extra dry mode

Drying is not great on the auto setting. Smell also builds up quickly even when it is run every other day.

Love the style and works well. Only small concern is that dishes do not get fully dry but we knew that so not an issue

Does a great job washing but drying is not as good. Found that opening the door right when it finishes helps a ton.

Although a little on the pricy side we hope we bought reliability! Washes well and is super quiet. Leaves the dishes very wet without using the dry feature, which I don't like to use.

The good - very quiet, seems to do a good job getting things clean, 3rd rack is a nice feature for knives and large utensils. The not so good - dishes don't dry. After a cycle is complete, I generally open the door for a while. I'm lazy and don't want to dry!

Machine is quiet. Removed the silverware basket and use the upper drawer for them. Silverware is easier to put away and you don't have to grab portion that touches your food with your hands. Doesn't dry the dishes well but don't think any without a heater do.

I picked this model over a cheaper one I was looking at due to the fact that under features, it lists heated dry - yes. I discovered after installation that is false. I do like the dishwasher but feel a bit rippped off

Very efficient dishwasher. Holds a lot more than my old GE Profile. Gets dishes very clean. My only disappointment is that dishes don't air dry very well........ and I don't like using the electricity to power dry.

I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy in October 2015. My decision was based on a Bosch built-in dishwasher I had in a home in the early 2000's that was great. Yes, this one is very quiet and uses less water, cleans the dishes well. The dishes do not dry which is a pain so you do need to open the door a bit so they can air dry. It heats at the end of cycle but this is not a drying cycle, it is a sanitize cycle. The top utensil rack is a weird configuration and takes some getting use to and if some utensils cannot fit there then you would need to use the utensil basket on the bottom rack that takes up a good amount of room. I removed it. Then there is a filter on the bottom you do need to unscrew and take out to clean every so often depending on how much you use the washer. If you do not then it smells. I started pouring a cup of white vinegar in the bottom when I complete unloading. This helps. For the cost I paid 3 years ago ($900) I would expect this washer to not only clean but dry my dishes. Another thing is the spray wands under the racks hold residual water that when you go to unload you need to unload from bottom up to the top rack or else they drip water all over the dishes below the rack you are unloading. Then once again you need to hand dry the wet dishes. If the above does not bother you then this is a great dishwasher.

After reading many reviews, we decided on the Bosch 800 series dishwasher. It is incredibly quiet, and the red light reflected on the floor is a good reminder that it's on. The 3rd rack is nice for spatulas and other flat-ish tools, but not much else. We had read some users didn't like the height of the center rack, but that was super-easy to adjust. Cons: Since it doesn't use a heating element to dry, even when using the "sanitize" feature, glasses (around the rim) and food storage containers aren't completely dry, even if they sit overnight. The utensil basket cross-tines are curved, so some random slots are deeper than others, which could have been done better. Overall happy with the dishwasher.

I've been using this dishwasher for a couple of weeks. No complaints at all. It did take a couple of days to get use to loading it, but now I think I can get more into this dishwasher than I ever have in previous dishwashers. The drying issue I read about in many reviews is NOT AN ISSUE. I've never used the heated drying cycle on any of my previous dishwashers. In my opinion, it is a waste of money. The third top rack is an added bonus. I find that I use it more than I thought I would. I am in my seventies and have used various dishwashers through the years, and by far, this one is the BEST.

We purchased a floor model of this dishwasher and received an excellent deal. This model replaced a 20 year old Whirlpool and is a vast improvement. The dishwasher absolutely beautiful by comparison and is so quiet, it's easy to forget it's running until it begins to drain. Thanks to this machine and the sanitize feature my dishes are cleaner than ever. The loading capacity of this machine is far better than my older basic model too - we are a family of 6, and I have yet to have to hold dishes back for a second load. I cook/prepare three meals a day, and even at that, sometimes I run it before it's completely full. The half load option is great for this. The adjustable racks and third rack for silverware come in handy too. I wash all my flatware (all/stainless) in the upper tray and do baby bottle nipples rings and lids in the lower basket. It would be easy to wash some stainless and some silver in the same load because they can be easily separated. The only minor issue I have is that the dishes do not dry fully unless I leave the door propped open for awhile, but that is a nitpicky complaint, and not really a bother. Overall, we are thrilled with our purchase.

    What a great dishwasher

Shopping around, my wife and I were comparing the Bosh Samsung and LG units. We went with the Bosh. Install was fast and they really did a great job! Previous unit had trim spacing, and the Geek Squad installer went above and beyond making that fit as it was. The dishwasher cleans so well. My previous Maytag was not doing as well given a single bottom spinner. This Bosh is so quiet you don't know it's on. The most I hear is water passing out through the disposal for a few seconds. The LED light is great, though I wished it'd turn green when done. This does not have a dry unit, but I have had no issues with that. Dishes are clean, even if caked on food is loaded (we tried not pre rinsing). Surprisingly with no drying unit, the dishes are very very dry when done. Like any other dishwasher I owned with a dry element, if you don't get them out right away they can have residual water on them (lids especially). Never thought about a top third rack but that is convenient. They really put a lot of thought into the product. The quality is amazingly good.
