I have had this machine for about a month and I honestly regret buying it. The only reason I am giving it two stars is because it cleans the dishes very well. The specifications on this machine say is super quiet, but let me tell you, IT IS NOT. It is noisy, I can hear the the entire cycle from 20 feet away. You can hear a very LOUD Whooshing sound the entire time is washing. I understand a dishwasher has to make some noise, But I am starting to think mine is defective, is THAT loud.

This is the quietest dishwasher I have even seen. My only complaint, and maybe we haven't figured it out yet, is the dishes are a bit wet after a wash cycle. Still trying to figure out the different cycles for drying vs sanatizing

This dishwasher does fantastic job in cleaning dishes. However, it requires heavy load (way longer ...) cycle to dry completely. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

My last Bosch lasted 15 years. The new one is relatively quiet. Tested the wash with some dirty dried on foods- everything came out clean. The touch buttons on top of the door does take some getting used to, but overall a good machine.

Great service in store! The product works great. There is a odor noted from the material Bosch uses; company reports it will go away after a few cycles. Would give higher rating but unsure at this time.

First machine delivered failed to go through full cycle. Was replaced by Best Buy immediately without any hassle. Now working perfectly. The proof will of course be in the longevity, which makes initial reviews of limited value. But so far A+.

We've only done one load in the new dishwasher but so far we love it. It's VERY quiet, only hearing the drain noise into the sink plumbing when it's on that cycle. Till now we'd always 'washed' the dishes before putting them into the washer. The install guys told us not to do that so we put dirty plates and all into it where some sat for 5 days till there was a large enough load to turn it on. We were sure it couldn't get all that dried food off BUT it did except for two dishes which we soaked for a few minutes and then put back in. We're very pleased with our purchase!

I purchased this dishwasher 13 months ago and haven't looked back since! It is absolutely the best one I've ever owned. So super quiet you have no idea it's running. The loudest noises that come from it's when it's draining, and that cycle tends to scare me sometimes because I forgot I turned it on! Dishes always come out extremely clean, and I've never had a problem. Plastic items such as Tupperware tend to come out wet even after going through the extra dry cycle. But that's a small price to pay for the otherwise awesome performance this machine provides.

I highly recommend a Bosch dishwasher. It is so quiet you cannot hear it when it is washing. I love the stainless steel inside and the easy to clean white outside. No more water spots on the door like when I had stainsteel door. Our salesman checked to make sure we got the best price. Delivery was the day Best Buy promised and our installer was very polite and knowledgeable. I.have been very pleased with everything we have purchased from Best Buy.

My dishwasher was installed last week. I love it! The Best Buy salesperson was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The installers were polite and efficient and they even brought a vacuum cleaner to ensure they left my kitchen spotless. The dishwasher does an excellent job and I am very pleased with this purchase. One warning: when the dishwashing cycle finishes, it makes three loud BEEPS. If, like me, you tend to turn the dishwasher on just before going to bed, you may want to disable this feature. It caught me by surprise the first time!

This dishwasher is so quiet that I am trying to teach myself to quit opening the door to add a dirty dish when it is running. I literally have opened the door because I did not hear it washing. The key I have come to find out when this is on is to look for a red light projecting onto the floor at the bottom right of the door. Before buying I noted someone having trouble stacking dishes. Not sure why that would be unless the dishes were very strangely shaped. The rack in the front on the bottom has a rack within a rack that easily folds down to accomodate larger dishes, or remain up for skinny ones. My preference would be to have the silverware rack in front rather than on the side. I haven't figured out whether that can be done. If so, it is not obvious. Other than that, this was a great buy. Highly recommended!

I purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy in October 2015. My decision was based on a Bosch built-in dishwasher I had in a home in the early 2000's that was great. Yes, this one is very quiet and uses less water, cleans the dishes well. The dishes do not dry which is a pain so you do need to open the door a bit so they can air dry. It heats at the end of cycle but this is not a drying cycle, it is a sanitize cycle. The top utensil rack is a weird configuration and takes some getting use to and if some utensils cannot fit there then you would need to use the utensil basket on the bottom rack that takes up a good amount of room. I removed it. Then there is a filter on the bottom you do need to unscrew and take out to clean every so often depending on how much you use the washer. If you do not then it smells. I started pouring a cup of white vinegar in the bottom when I complete unloading. This helps. For the cost I paid 3 years ago ($900) I would expect this washer to not only clean but dry my dishes. Another thing is the spray wands under the racks hold residual water that when you go to unload you need to unload from bottom up to the top rack or else they drip water all over the dishes below the rack you are unloading. Then once again you need to hand dry the wet dishes. If the above does not bother you then this is a great dishwasher.

    Not Worth It

We upgraded to this unit from an ancient and cheap Roper dishwasher only because we got this on a discount. Even with the discount I'm disappointed. Right off the bat I was worried the 3rd rack would be a waste and I was totally right. It's too shallow to put anything worthwhile inside it and I've yet to pull something out of there and have it be clean. My solution? I took it out. This allowed me to move the center rack to its highest position and still fit tall glasses, leaving more room for bigger things on the bottom rack. Major improvement. I also don't like that the silverware holder can't be put in the front of the bottom rack. I used to be able to quickly pop open the door to add a fork, but not with this washer. You have to drop the door all the way down and pull the bottom rack out to access it. Boo. I thought the folding tines would be helpful--it doesn't make any difference. Marketing gimmick at best. Putting a glass in the far corners of the bottom rack will disappoint you. It will come out dirty on the inside like it was never in there in the first place. This wasn't a problem with my Roper. It's quiet--which is great--but combine that with finicky controls and it'll frustrate you. Several times I've thought I've started a wash cycle only to come back and open it only to find it cold, empty, not running, and that insipid display blinking at me. Oh, and that display? You can't see it with the door closed. So why bother with a timer display? Totally useless unless you want to open the door during the cycle to see the time and get water sprayed all over. In general the user interface is a pain. The "buttons" need to be pressed hard to make a selection. And I don't trust it'll do what it says it'll. The drying function? I've yet to see it dry anything properly. So... comparing my 20 year old Roper to this thing SHOULD be like comparing a 1998 Ford Escort to a 2019 BMW.... and the Escort holds its own quite nicely. I'd keep the Bosch for the quietness and lack of rusted tines, nothing more. Not worth the price, even with 35% off. Not happy with this purchase at all.
