Best dishwasher I ever bought. So quiet Nd cleans great

Great experience from time of purchase to installation!

This might be the greatest, quietest dishwashwasher in the world, but it's no good if it won't fit into a standard under-cabinet opening. We ordered this one for our condo to replace a broken GE unit, and when it arrived, the Geek Squad installer said it was too tall. He said the Bosch dishwashers are not height-adjustable like the American-made ones, and it just wouldn't work. He took it back, recommending we exchange it for a KitchenAid one, which he said is a quality unit that WILL fit! Hence the one-star rating for the Bosch!

I wish the plastic items would be dry prior to emptying this dishwasher You would think spending over $1000 you would have a great dishwasher. Also, it’s very load when draining. I’m very disappointed!

our old bosch dishwasher will dry dishes even on quick rinse. this dishwasher dont have that option

Literally one of the worst purchase experiences I have ever had with your company, or in general, for thst matter. The overall level of incompetence and the miscommunication was truly astounding. I made this purchase a month ago, and still do not have the dishwasher. The only reason I will get it this week is because I removed the old dishwasher myself, and will transport it to the store in my personal vehicle to pick up the unit

Quite disappointed in this dishwasher. It worked well for about 4 months then it started getting noisier and now the control panel does not work - cannot start the machine. Thankfully still under warranty, but shouldn't expect this from such an expensive machine.

took delivery on Tuesday the 17th, had it installed the next day, washer showed ER15 code, called Bosch to report it Thursday morning. it has been over a week and I'm still waiting for repair service.

I've owned this dishwasher for almost 4 years. I wanted to wait to write a review because my last dishwasher, a GE brand didn't even last 3 years. We decided to go with this Bosch dishwasher this time and it has done exactly what it is supposed to do...clean dishes. All of our previous dishwashers have been terrible, essentially requiring you to pre-wash everything. With this dishwasher, I dont have to pre-wash anything unless the food is very baked on. Everything comes out spotless, every time. I also love that it runs so quietly compared to other dishwashers I have had. Absolutely no complaints and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, hassle-free dishwasher.

Best buy lost my dishwasher during home delivery. I will never buy from best buy again.

I think the brand name and reputation of this dishwasher blinded me, and now I'm stuck with a dishwasher that I just want to get rid of. Admittedly, I maybe should have done a little more research than just reading people's reviews and a couple tech websites, but after seeing a majority of positive reviews, and nothing too horrible in the 1- or 2-star reviews, I figured it'd probably be a safe bet, but boy was I wrong. From the horrible delivery and installation experience with Best Buy that took almost 3 months from my date of purchase to when I finally had a properly installed, un-dented, unscratched dishwasher, to a product that just doesn't live up to its hype, I may be biased, but I say don't buy this dishwasher. I bought this Bosch because I wanted a quiet dishwasher since I'm in a studio condo. It is indeed quiet (except for when it's draining, but that's to be expected) or at least it's definitely quieter than my GE dishwasher it replaced. (Although I don't know if my negativity is affecting me, but it's starting to seem as though it's getting a little louder every couple months) After just over a year of using this dishwasher, the biggest issue I have with it is this weird metallic smell that just won't go away. Based on my internet searches, it seems that the smell may be a result of some sort of chemical coating that helps soundproof it? If that's the case, at this point I'd take a little more noise if it means the smell would go away. I sometimes leave dishes in the washer for longer than I probably should, and they all come out with that smell on them. My other complaint is one that is well-documented and that I thought I could get over, but it's the fact that everything's wet when the cycle's over. I knew it would be like this going in, and admittedly, in the winter it's kind of nice, because I open up the door after the cycle and use the heat and moisture to help humidify my place, but honestly, I don't think this is something I'll ever get used to. And yes, I use bottles and bottles of Jet Dry, and that still doesn't make up for the fact that using really hot water to "dry" the dishes at the end isn't as effective as having a heating element dry everything. Inevitably there are always puddles of water on each of my cups and mugs, and that water ends up splashing everywhere when I slide the rack out. So it can be pretty frustrating. On the plus side, it's a powerful machine. I throw my empty food jars and bottles in there to clean before recycling them and the washer somehow manages to get the labels off everything and they end up in the filter basket (or sometimes on my plates or silverware). I do like the various tray/rack options and having the ability to adjust them as I see fit, but I'm not so sure if those positive aspects are enough to outweigh the negative. Ultimately, I'm just waiting to see when I feel as though I won't have wasted my money when I switch it out for something else (that's hopefully just as quiet, but that has a heating element!).

I grew up with a dishwasher in the 1970's. The only difference between this Bosch and the 1970 is the Bosch is quieter and has a 3rd rack and the 1970 dishwasher was built more solid. Even though I bought this I would not do it again. I paid for a NAME and the price for the name was not justifiable when there are other no name dishwashers that are just as good as the Bosch. I feel the 1970 dishwasher washes better than the BOSCH. My Bosch still has dirty dishes when the cycle is done. I have properly loaded and followed all instructions and i still get a dirty dish or two. I can sit here and do comparisons until the sun comes up. But a dirty dish is a dirty dish. Not worth the price for a name. I expect 100% excellence from Bosch for the amount I paid. Unfortunately their name did not hold up. In conclusion, If you want to throw away your money, by all means pay for the NAME. My next dishwasher will be a no name that holds it own against a high price Designer NAME.
