I bought this Bosch dishwasher based on Consumer Reports' high rating; it replaced a KitchenAid that I'd been very happy with. Went with this one, over another KitchenAid, also rated highly by CR, mainly because reviewers described the third upper rack in the Bosch as being more functional than the one in KA dishwashers. So far, it's cleaned well, without any more residual wetness than I'd had with my KA. The only cons so far, are that the power switches on when I don't yet need it to, it has less room than the KA did for my deep cereal bowls (though more space for plates), the utensil rack is less roomy, and I foresee the need to periodically clean the filter (which I never had to do in my old KA). I really do appreciate that third rack, however, and it is very quiet. The third rack is almost enough to eliminate the cons, for me.

Takes a little getting use to loading it seems like the rack design is different from what I am used to. Super quiet-so quiet we question it’s on even though the red indicator light is on. Good value for the money. Had a kitchenaid that I hated and it was wayyy more expensive. Don’t let the no drying element scare you it has a fan that does the drying.

This mashine cleans like a pro, never before have I had such clean dishes. If you just follow the recommendations that comes with the mashine as to how to program it for optimized cleaning, you will have no issues at all and you will love the mashine. I have no problems whatsoever with the mashine not drying well enough (as I had read being an issue in other reviews) again, read the note that comes with the dishwasher, adjust your settings to the recommended by Bosch, buy the brand of cleaner/rinse aid that is also recommended and this mashine performs like a champ! There is a rubber/plastic smell for like to cycles when the mashine is brand new, that all went away quickly, no issue. For the reviews that mentioned some other kind of smell, I have no idea what they are referring to, there is absolutely no odor in this mashine whatsoever. I get a feeling that those who give bad reviews on the performance of Bosch haven't read and followed the manual that comes with the dishwasher! I love my new dishwasher and will recommend it for superb cleaning! It is super quiet and has a clean, sleek look that fits perfectly into any kitchen.

This is a good dishwasher, cleans well and the black stainless steel looks really good. But, it isn't anywhere near as quiet as my old Bosch. My old dishwasher was completely silent unless the water was draining. I can easily hear this new one even when I'm not standing next to it. So, the red light on the floor is a gimmick. The door on my old Bosch was twice as thick and much heavier, I believe that made a difference. Now I'm using the delay feature to run it at night. If I could exchange it I would, but it's not worth the trouble.

I wanted a quality dish washer that was quite. This one is very quite, I don’t even know it is running. Does a great job cleaning dishes.

Can’t go wrong with a Bosch, matches my black stainless fridge also. Very quiet and does a great job

so far it has been working very good. the delivery man said they have very few call backs for this dishwasher

This is absolutely the best dishwasher we’ve ever own. No more rinsing our dishwasher before putting them in the dishwasher. Extremely quiet too.

I love the looks of dishwasher, and unless you are in the kitchen with nothing else going on, you cannot heart the dishwasher while it is running. The only issue that i have with it is running the machine through the wash cycle. it has taken us about a week to figure out how to turn this thing on, but once you see the red light on the floor solid, you know its on and running.

Wife loves the new dishwasher. Whisper quiet and Best Buy install was the best.

Love this dishwasher. Room for lots of dishes. They come out clean.

My last dishwasher was 7 years old and still washing well. But was making a tremendous amount of noise. Needing a replacement, we headed over to BestBuy. There we chose this Bosch with black stainless steal. It is so quiet we hardly know it is on. It cleans very well and I love the black stainless.

This dishwasher does what you'd expect. The only negative I have is that unless you click extra dry it will leave your dishes super wet.

It washes the dishes well and I love how quiet it is, but it doesn't dry the dishes well even when set to extra dry.

Doesnt clean as well, kitchenaid held more dishes. Top rack not that useful. Bottom rack with the tines going in different direction is harder to load. Doesnt hold as many dishes. Love the black stainless steel. Takes 2.5 hours to eun.
