We were in need of a new dishwasher. After doing extensive research, we decided on the Bosch 800 series. Initially, what we liked about the Bosch was it’s clean lines, the stainless steel tub, it’s three racks and it’s Crystal Dry system. We’ve had this dishwasher for a month now and love it. It’s super quiet, cleans everything well and has plenty of room for larger dishes as well as pots and pans. The Crystal Dry system dries most dishes, pots and pans as advertised. Occasionally, there is some residual water left on the bottom of a dish or bowl with a deep reservoir, which is not that big of a deal. As for the cost of the dishwasher, the price was a little steep. However, if the Bosch 800 can keep cleaning and drying as well as it has for an extended period of time or years, it will more than make up for what it’s currently selling for. As of right now, I would highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone interested in this model.

Overall an excellent appliance. The best at cleaning dishes of any dishwasher I have had. The racks are well designed and, even with 3, are not crowded. He overall performance, quality of manufacture and appearance make this a 5 star dishwasher. These are picky and minor issues but reviews that only tout the upsides are not helpful. Cons: The control panel on the top is well laid out but when you closed the door to allow the dishwasher to run the countdown timer goes out (no display.) So you can't tell how much time is remaining on the cycle without reopening the door.

We really like our new Bosch dishwasher. It is quiet, cleans dishes very good and is easy to load and unload. The third drawer is really handy.

Found out I need to not use drying mode on drinking glasses because it causes a glazed look that cannot be removed. Having the 3rd shelf is kind of nice but creates a challenge for space on the remaining 2 racks. Does a great job of cleaning and EXTREMELY QUIET!!

I didn't think it was possible for a dishwasher to be this quiet but it really is. The light on the floor is the only reason I know it's running. It's amazing! The Crystal Dry feature is fabulous. The third rack isn't what I expected at all but I love it. It saves room and it's really helpful. Couldn't be happier with this dishwasher.

The Bosch 800 series dishwasher is superior in all aspects. It is quieter than any other dishwasher we have had. The adjustable 3 shelves are a real advantage and the cleaning capabilities are first rate

Love the third top rack for small or flat items and utensils. Middle rack is good. Bottom rack wish had more options yet has great capacity. Many programming modes all useless we just use normal not even auto. Whisper quiet no noise during or after washing done. Stuff is just clean clean like new.

What's not to like, its a Bosch. The reputation stands for itself. That is why after less than 7 years being on our 3rd dishwasher we went with the Bosch. Capacity of the dishwasher is great with the adjustable top 2 racks. The basin seems deeper so taller objects can be placed in without the wash arm hitting them. Most of all, it is quiet. Most the time if we are in the living room we cannot hear it washing. Love the red light when it is running. The only feature it needs is a green light for when it is completed. Over all, we are very happy. I will be even happier if we get more than 3 years out of it. Needless to say there are brands we will no longer go with.

We had what we thought was a quite dishwasher but we were wrong. You don’t even know if this one is even running. You have to put your ear up to it to see. Love the 3rd rack. Also light it projects on floor let’s you when it’s finished. Dishes/pots/pans/silverware come out great.

There's a reason Bosch is consistently rated among the best dishwashers by consumer magazines. It just delivers. Quiet, great cleaning, multiple settings etc etc. I really wanted the 500 series but supply chain issues and handle concerns had us waiting for 6 months. Finally saw 2 800s had come in to our store so we upgraded. It's great--probably no better at cleaning than the lower models but some extra features are nice and we were tired of waiting and worried our old dishwasher might fail. We had a 500 model for 5 years in our previous home and loved it so we knew what to expect.

I have grown accustomed to this dishwasher since it was installed and have resigned myself to it. It is indeed extremely quiet, and that is its main advantage. However, I found the interface quite confusing to use at first. The control panel is completely flat and you have to touch the surfaces exactly the right way to get the buttons to react -- for a while I was afraid I had bought a dishwasher that I was not going to be able to turn on. It projects a red light onto the floor to show when it is on, and supposedly the light depicts different images to show you the different stages, but ours is just a red blur on the floor. The interior also has an odd smell. Certainly the dishes are clean, but no cleaner than they were with the 20-year-old $150 Sears dishwasher we replaced with this supposedly top of the line item. If I were going to do it again, I would save the money and go with the 500 series, not the 800.

Had some trouble installing it ourselves, but that’s not the dishwasher’s fault. Dishes are so clean, glasses sparkling clear and when using crystal dry, everything is nice and dry. Much better than our previous Kitchen Aid. If your dishwasher is hardwired, you will need to order an additional part- an external junction box to mount in an adjacent cabinet. There’s also a Bosch dishwasher water connection that’s pretty easy to use, but not absolutely necessary. Have only had the dishwasher for a few days but construction is solid, super quiet and I expect it to last for many years.

Exceptionally quiet, easy to use, and effective at washing dishes. Dries well. It’s everything a dishwasher should be.

I have to admit, I initially thought some of the features were nonsense and aimed for a lower model. Holy cow, was I wrong - the crystal dry is amazing! Easily superior to our most attentive hand washing. The ability the spotlessly clean the most baked on nightmares is nothing short of life changing. It’s also silent as a mouse while it works wonders. TBH, it’s been a long time since I’ve been so impressed with a purchase. But it is a Bosch after all :-)

This DW is SO quiet I don't even know if it is running! I have to look at the laser light projected on the floor to see if it is running. I absolutely LOVE this DW. It's the best I've ever owned. It really does dry the plastic and there is no water left on the bottoms of the coffee cups. FABULOUS!!

Best dishwasher. This is the second time we’ve bought a Bosch dishwasher with the third rack. It’s the greatest dishwasher we’ve ever had. Cleans the dishes thoroughly, it’s incredibly quiet, and looks beautiful.

We have only had this dishwasher for a couple of weeks, but so far it has been excellent. It’s very quiet and does an excellent job cleaning the dishes. The instructions suggest not rinsing only removing the larger pieces of food and the dishwasher does the rest. It really does an excellent job cleaning without rinsing. It also does a good job drying. Very little water is left on the glasses and cups. It's one of the more expensive dishwashers we looked at but so far we are quite pleased.

This Bosch replaced a lower end 8 year old Bosch. The older one was just at end of life and wanted another Bosch. It is stylish but does what we wanted it for excellent performance with near silent performance. We have an open floor plan and I hate hearing the dishwasher while TV watching etc. I do not even hear it running.
