This is my 2nd one amd both have a terrible chemical smell coming from them and the crystal dry has never actually worked. We had someone come out to check out both smell and crystal dry and said that is normal with bosch.

It finally was due for install November 1. But, no! No-one informed us the power and water are on opposite sides from our 2 previous high end washers! So. We wait another 2 weeks! The guys install it and it was throwing fatal error codes immediately! Now we have to wait til mid December and hope a new one works!!

Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. To improve drying results, we recommend turning on the Intensive Drying feature.
