But they are metal and they become too hot to touch. Seriously, they get way too hot! This is a very poor design that we did not realize until we installed it and turned it on. Not recommended.

Beautiful sleek design too! Installation required some additional cutting of the counter, which was an additional expense, but well-worth it!
