Be sure you get this junction box when buy your new dishwasher. It was not offered when I purchased I had only bought the install kit. but when I called my store for a question on install the salesperson notified me I may need this. Suggested I buy and have ready when my plumber came to install. Lucky I had picked up because The plumber did need this. Made the install go smoothly.

I bought a Bosch dishwasher from a different seller, and opted to install it myself. During the install I realized the dishwasher did not come with the appropriate wiring to hardwire it in the same way my previous dishwasher was. Best Buy had this item in stock and I was able to purchase online and pick up minutes later. The item worked perfectly and wiring and installation was easy.

So quiet I have to get right next to it to be sure it is on.

I needed that to make my dishwasher work. The installed made sure that it was installed correctly and the wires tight and secure, and that the box itself was secured to the inside of the cabinet.

Was able to install it without any issues comes with all the part required to connect. Even uncan mount it on wall and safe for appliances. I used it wih bosch 500 series dishwasher and its worth it

This kit for hardwiring the dishwasher power cable came with the dishwasher, with no option to not include it. My installation used a standard grounded wall plug, so I did not need this. It does appear to be well-made.

If your electrical wiring does not have a plug than this junction box is a must for easy hard wired electrical connection to the dishwasher. It makes the installation easier and a lot faster. Best Buy's promotion supplied it at no charge with the purchase of the dishwasher, which made it a no brainer.

The only thing I can say about this dishwasher and it's installation is AMAZING ! The installation was done perfectly. The installers even vacuumed after removing the old dishwasher AND washed the tile floor !!! Now...you NEVER see that kind of care when someone installs an appliance. I am SO VERY PLEASED ! Whatever was connected (wiring and such) is great.

Bosch dishwasher installed easily. It's great that Best Buy provides the proper junction box at no cost with the purchase. Even better that when I called Best Buy was able to split the dishwasher and junction box orders between two different stores to avoid a long backorder situation. Thanks! Great customer service.

This power cord was required in order to hardwire my dishwasher. I found it a little odd that I had to buy this whole unit and mount it separately in a cabinet next to the dishwasher, which seemed overly complicated. Otherwise, the instructions were clear and install went fairly smoothly.

It is a good plastice junction box. Easy to install.

This was a very good product to use since my previous dishwasher was hardwired. I turned the breaker off and connected the hot, neutral and ground to their mates in the junction box and then plugged the cord (Male end) into the outlet in the new dishwasher. The junction box makes it safe and complies with the national electrical code.

Ended up not needing this as our dishwasher already came with a power cord that fit with our plug in
