I'm not sure what this does but it's essential to one of my several appliances I've purchased and being that they're all still wonderfully working 2.5 yrs later I'd say this product is fantastic!

Works great with my new Bosch dishwasher. However, one would assume that this powercord would be standard when purchasing a dishwasher and not a separate line item. Dishwasher works well, so this plug is working as expected.

This thing almost caused a fire. We had our dishwasher for 3 years, 8 months when it suddenly had no power. We started trying to figure out what went wrong and found charred and melted materials in the junction box. (See photo.) A little internet research shows that quite a few people have had this problem. I'm in the process of trying to work with Bosch customer support to find out if the dishwasher is even safe to use anymore. Apparently, there was a recall on the cord/plug for earlier models than the one we purchased, but despite the number of people who have had problems with the junction box, there is no recall on it. We're just very lucky that we didn't have a house fire in this situation.

When I purchased a Bosch dishwasher, this junction box was included in the price. When replacing a dishwasher it is highly recommended to replace the old junction box. I didn't have to run to a home Improvement store because I needed a new box. Simple to replace with install.

For someone that isn't good at buying appliances, I really appreciated that this component, which is needed for hook-up, was automatically added to my cart, or at least, I was notified that I needed to purchase it in order for it to be installed in my home.

Works as it should. I also feel that like the install kit, this part should be included. Remember when computer printers came with the data cable? Now you have to buy separately.

This is a safer method of wiring a dishwasher vs hardwiring. Prevents fires.

I imagine it works perfectly as the dishwasher works great! I did not do the install, so I can say for sure that it was required or if it was an option.

This came with my new Bosch dishwasher. You would only use it if your dishwasher is hard wired into the electrical. My kitchen has a convenient plug so I didn't use it. It did come as an extra item with the dishwasher but there was no cost.

It’s an original equipment for the dishwasher and works great. It was easy to install and only took a short amount of time.

This product eliminate the problem of adding a junction box if one is not present. It has very simple directions to install. All you need fot the most part is a screw driver.

This junction box was exactly what we needed for a super smooth and easy install. We were very glad it came with the dishwasher and didn't cost any extra. Very happy with this purchase.

This adapter made installation of my new Bosch Dishwasher a breeze. Older house without a plug normally means hard wiring the dishwasher. With this adapter a nice safe and secure electrical connection is made.

Definitely required when installing a bosch dishwasher due to special bosch plug which connects to rear bottom of dishwasher. Best part about it, it comes complete with all plumbling with the unit

I think I bought this for my dishwasher. It did it’s job. My only complaint is that it should be included with the dishwasher. The product was fine though and easy to install

Build quality was wonderful. Couldn’t be happier with the way it delivered smooth power to my dishwasher. Made my dishes even cleaner with the solid power connection. Highly recommended. Leaves other connections in the dust. My dog was super impressed. Dishes seemed to be extra clean. Seriously turbo charged my dishwasher.

added it to the install service that way i know everything is new and there would be no bare wires laying around behind dishwasher
