Dishwasher delivered and installed including wiring hookup. All done timely and professionally. Old machine removed and new one replaced it. Works flawlessly. Only issue was that it was brought to house with the front stainless steel panel damaged. Service delivery personnel probably should have noted that prior to installation. As it is dented, the panel and/or entire Bosch dishwasher needs remedy. Hopefully this can be resolved soon as appliances ordered last year

Boy did I need this to make the install easy My original hook up was a solid Roman cable With this connection interface made the electrical connection easy and safe without all the other work to install a wall plug

The best way to do hard-wiring you need to drill a hole in to side of cabinet and attach Junction Box to the wall were a kitchen sink is located. Because you can't mount Junction box behind the dishwasher for one particular reason ( if you do, dishwasher will not align with front of cabinet. Btw, you need to drill a hole to accommodate insertion of power cord and hose from dishwasher as well.

Apparently this item works as it should because we have had zero problems.

This was required as part of the install and I have had no problems at all.

After purchasing a Bosch dishwasher I realized that we do not have an outlet, so our new dishwasher had to be hardwired in. I purchased this junction box and followed the instructions that came with it and was able to successfully wire my dishwasher myself.

I had already installed this adapter for my 1st 300 series dishwasher and it made installing my 2nd 300 series much faster - Once wired up, you simply plug the adapter into the back of your Bosch dishwasher and you have power.

It's a bit of a disappointment that the newer Bosch dishwashers cannot be hard wired. They come with a cord with a propriety connector on the dishwasher end and no provision for hard wiring. Bosch should include one of these Powercord junction boxes in the package! Having said that, the irritation continues. This junction box must not be installed behind the dishwasher (it is too large to fit on the floor, or up against the back wall of the dishwasher's cabinet). It must be installed in an adjacent cabinet. In my installation, the chord was too short to reach the dishwasher after installation in the adjacent cabinet! If the adjacent cabinet is to the right of the dishwasher, the cord would have reached. My adjacent cabinet was on the left! Solution, have an electrician install a wall receptacle on the back wall of the cabinet where the dishwasher is installed. After you do that, you get to return the Junction Box. Now as to the quality of this junction box, it is Bosch quality! and the lugs for the wires are solid and well made. It is a quality piece of gear and of course, the propriety plug that fits into the dishwasher works perfectly.

I guess I bought this? I suppose it's under my dishwasher doing something important. I guess it's working because my dishwasher is working right? You tell me. I've never seen it before and I was only vaguely aware that I bought it, because it was automatically added to my cart when I clicked the 'installation' button. Ok, I should stop writing reviews and get back to work now.

The Bosch power cord is efficient as it has the junction box attached making installation easier and safer for hard wired installation

This electrical connection box helped to simplify and improve the installation of the dishwasher. The box is used to facilitate hardwired installation. Simply attach your house wiring inside the box through the hole provided and mount box in a convenient location. Plug the cable into the back of the dishwasher. Far more convenient than trying to attatch the typically stiff house wiring directly to the dishwasher and easier when pushing the unit into place under the counter.

I mean... if you gotta order a Bosch - Powercord with Junction Box for Benchmark and Thermador Dishwashers for Hard-Wired Installations, you might as well order this Bosch - Powercord with Junction Box for Benchmark and Thermador Dishwashers for Hard-Wired Installations. This thing does it all: It powercords, it junction boxes, it does it for Benchmark, it does it for Thermador... hell - its even for hardwired installations!

Was able to install it without any issues comes with all the part required to connect. Even uncan mount it on wall and safe for appliances. I used it wih bosch 500 series dishwasher and its worth it

The power cord came with our dishwasher, it was free of charge. My husband could easily install the Bosch dishwasher. It works well.

Came with my dishwasher. Easy installation. Minor cost if purchased separately.

My new Bosch dishwasher required this power cord. I ordered it on line from a Best Buy, and picked it up two days before my new dishwasher arrived. Instructions for installation were easy to follow. BTW, I am a 65 year old lady, and yes, anyone can manipulate a few wires, and hook a new a Bosch dishwasher up, if required. Heads up, please be safe, use safety glasses and check twice the correct circuit breaker is turned off.
