The bass is more manageable than the older Bose bass speaker: lighter, more compact, wireless- much less fussy Goes well wth the Sound Touch home entertainment system. It fits in well.

As with most sound bar systems the bass sub-wolfer comes as a unit with the sound bar. In the case of the Bose Acoustimass 300 it is sold separate from the Bose Soundbar 300 system along with other surround sound speakers available if desired. The bass unit costs nearly as much as the Sound Bar, and the thought of do I really need it comes in your mind fast. Well, go ahead and get at least both as it does make a huge difference especially with movies, concerts, etc. I am very pleased with it although I did turn it up a notch from the default. Older you know. Superior quality that enhances superior sound. Hard to find quality these days.

This compliments the Soundbar 300 which adds the base to the sound creating the sounds required for watching movies. It couples with the Soundbar via Bluetooth and is real easy to set up.

When I was in the hunt for a new home theatre sound system, I did a lot of reading and researching. I wanted more than a sound bar but didn't want wires running all over the room. At first I was looking at the SONOS line but was not impressed by their lack of Dolby support. I have been a BOSE fan for years anyway so I eventually decided on the Soundtouch 300 sound bar with or without the Acoustimass 300 bass module. I was going to hold off on the Virtually invisible rear wireless speakers but then I figured i was already dumping $1400 and for the additional $300, what the heck. While the soundbar's bass in noticeable at best, I'm glad I got the bass module. What a difference! When BOSE says you can feel the thunder, they are not exaggerating! A definite and needed part of the sound system. Plus they look great! The virtually invisible wireless rear speakers are a nice compliment to the total package as well. There are times when I think my wife or dogs are coming down the stairs into my TV room but then I realize the sound is from the show/movie I'm watching. Overall, it's a great sounding system. $1700 worth? That's debatable.

This is a high quality sound system, and that was important. We have a smaller room that this is being used in, and this seems to be excellent for that. I do not know if someone would be happy with this particular outfit in a large room, but I feel that it would be suitable for us.

This bass module is a monster. I've never owned a super high-end sub woofer that costs thousands of dollars so I can't compare it to those but I can say that this one beats anything I've heard in it's price range by a mile. This thing makes the bass from a broadcast or a device attached to it sound and feel beautiful. It has a smooth, warm feel and yet thunderous and powerful at the same time. I got this to replace one from Bose that I bought ten years ago and this one kills the older one sound-wise easily.

There was such a difference once I plugged in the sub. I wanted to get a nice sound system and this has been exactly what I wanted. I originally just purchased the soundbar but it was missing a little something. Once I added the sub, it made all the difference.

Bose® - Acoustimass® 300 Wireless Bass Module is simply AWESOME. I've read many reviews that stated that you can literally "feel the bass" with this module and it's a FACT, you can feel it. It also has a wide range of bass levels to choose from. Awesome! Awesome SOUND!

I currently have 2 AM 300's paired with my ST 300 and Invisible 300's.1 AM 300 sounded excellent. The two AM 300 though sounds phenomenal! It's a more spacious bass sound especially with music! I recently bought the whole set up for my "least watched" family room tv/media as I wasn't expecting much from a sound bar setup. I went with the BOSE because after 20+ years, their equipment had NEVER let me down or not lived up to expectations. In my media room, where it "goes down," I bought Martin Logan Motion 40 towers ($1000/ea), 2 Martin Logan Dynamo 700 subs (1 came free with tower purchase, so $700), Martin Logan Motion 50XT center channel ($900), and Martin Logan Motion 15 rear/bookshelf speakers ($400/ea) and an Onkyo N777 receiver rated at 220w/ch. All this is to say that my aforementioned BOSE ST setup IN MY OPINION outperformed the ML/Onkyo setup in range, depth, and clarity at low, medium, and high volumes AND at half the price! I returned the ML/Onkyo setup and duplicated the Bose (ST 300, (2) AM 300's, and Invisible 300's) and haven't been more pleased. I'm not sure went Bose doesn't support the fact that you CAN pair more than 1 AM 300 with the sound bar, but it is definitely possible and I haven't had any issues besides never wanting to stop listening! I hope I answered a few questions and helped someone.

The SoundTouch 300 isn't the same without the SUB. Only complaint was that it was tricky to figure out how to adjust the base. Factory settings come really low and sound awful compared to the store demo. Once I figured it out I was much happier. Another con is the price. You are looking at $1500 just to get started on a decent setup. It is much easier of a setup however then going the traditional route so you do get some convenience for your $$$. If you are going to do it, buy the SUB too otherwise you will likely regret spending the $700 on the sound bar

Bose has never let me down with their products and this is just one more to add to my "Love It" list. Ground pounding bass. Certainly makes for a low volume watching experience as you can still fill it in you bones even turned down.

My home size is 1500 seq/ft, i decide to buy "Bose® - SoundTouch® 300 soundbar - Black + Bose® - Acoustimass® 300 wireless bass module - Black", after easy setup the sound blasting over my expectation. Clear voice quality and fun loving high volume songs listen experience. With full volume up its make my house exterior full vibration, its amazing product i am loving this. I have 65' LG TV so during connection i am not able to figure out HDMI not working, but use lighting/fiber optic cable that's working just plug-play without any setting.

I prefer more bass than less and was skeptical about how well the this product would fill a large living room, but I was amazed by the sound. The module delivers an immersive movie watching experience and carries a lot of impact when listening to music. If watching a movie with lots of dialog that is usually hard to hear, Bose offers a setting that lowers the bass and enhances the dialog. Above and beyond the sound quality, the wireless connection was easy to setup and has never faltered. A great compliment to the Bose 300 soundbar.

Let’s start of with me Upgrading to this from a 10 yr old surround sound. Don’t expect for this subwoofer to shake your room like the theaters. But it does give it a solid clear sound. With the soundbar I’m amazed with the 3.1 surround sound. I don’t have the rear speakers yet to get the full 5.1 but I am planning to get it in the future. Sleek look with no wires, it’s an amazing product.

I loved my soundbar and the bass it had but I knew I always wanted to bass module as well. I kept having the itch to purchase the bass module and finally pulled the trigger. Your experience you will have watching movies will change completely. It is definitely worth it. The main reason I waited 4 months to buy it was the fact I live in a townhome and share walls with my neighbors. Thankfully the amount of bass on the module can be lowered if you'd want which you wouldn't but it's nice to have the option.

This should be labeled a must-purchase with the Soundbar300. The bass is solid and genuine. Not contrived in the least. Whether gaming, watching 4K movies or live ball games, it polishes the final outcome of the 300.
