The product sounds ok but sound better in the store.

Like everything except seems to be no way to adjust just how much base is used.

In a simple and short word, WOW. This is a fantastic bass module for the sound bar that I already have. Before, I thought that the bar itself was good enough. However, once I acquire this module, I can't imagine my movies and my music without it. As always in my reviews, I will place my positive and perhaps "opportunities of improve" for this module: Positive: 1. Power... this module has a lot of bass power! It is surprising how much power it is possible to have from this module and yet, without any distortion of sound or lose of quality, it is a smooth increase of bass until you suddenly realize that your whole body is vibrating with the music... simply fantastic. 2. Easy to configure, is just matter of sync it with the sound bar and the entire module immediately acquires the presets and room configuration already established by the sound bar, become an awesome complement. 3. Design. This is a very important point for me. A lot of times we sacrifice aesthetics for power OR performance. But in this one, there's no need for that, I just simply love it... I LOVE IT... Even my wife, who doesn't care about this and prefers the audio devices to be hidden so they can't b seen, only heard, says that is very beautiful... it is even prettier than the sound bar... So my point (sorry about the excitement), I am not sacrificing anything and I am having all the power, pristine performance, and beauty... all in one package. 4. Quality of materials: Yes ladies and gentlemen, this is a component that seems WAY MORE EXPENSIVE due to the quality of all the materials. The glass surface, the discrete and elegant BOSE logo... I mean, it is a high quality Item... Improvements: 1. Size: This is perhaps THE ONLY kind of chance of improvement. For me (and my wife), this element is a little bit big and heavy... I know that Bose is awesome making elements to have the same quality and reduce its size so, perhaps that can be an area of improvement. But trust me, it is not a big deal... in fact, I am trying to find something in the middle of this perfect element... As a conclusion, if you already have the sound bar and you are considering if you should buy this item... let me tell you... if you have the budget, PLEASE DO IT!!!! You won't regret it and the experience will be FANTASTIC.

Set up was easy. Great addition to the sound bar. Wish could adjust the bass level.

Adding this Bass Module (Subwoofer) to the Soundtouch 300 takes it to a new level of sound performance. Bose has made setup so simple anyone can do it, just take the Bass Module out of the box, plug it in, press a couple of buttons on the Soundtouch remote and it's linked in a matter of seconds. Right away you notice the additional depth of sound that additional bass can give you. In order to get the best sound possible you need to calibrate the system with ADAPTiQ and the headset that came with your Soundtouch Soundbar. Then it's off to enjoying this very well integrated system. Of note, if you feel the bass that is being output is not sufficient you can then adjust with your remote to your particular taste, I set it up one notch as I like things a little boomier, after that, pure perfection.

Very compact, but do require power wires, not really wireless.

Difficult to set up if the room is not a typical square or rectangle.

The bass was too powerful for my ears for my livingroom.

Complete frustrating experience using with Samsung TV. HDMI doesn’t work. User instruction manual is awful. Best Buy really pushes this product and don’t think they give you an honest view of the limitations, which is very disappointing. Would not recommend it.

Works as a great complement the acoustimass soundbar.

Purchased the bose sound system to use with our sony tv through the arc port on the tv. There is a issue bose is aware of with that hook up. It will disconnect and you have to unplug it and repulg it back in. Such and incontinence for the price of the bose system.

Very disappointed in a $600 speaker. The Bose bass module makes an intermittent popping noise that sounds like popcorn popping. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Bose has yet to address this issue and has known about it for over a year. I've been a loyal Bose customer for years but my experience with this product and Bose refusing to address it has left a sour taste in my mouth. Do not buy this product! You will be disappointed and Bose customer support will not help you.

We were looking for a "surround" sound and the bass module did not fit what we were looking for, as it was explained to us after, it is more for watching movies and listening to music, we were just watching t.v. programs.

Spent 1500 dollars for the sound bar and this, but the 2 items refused to connect. Was told this was a common problem so i returned it after i was told they wouldnt help install it without charging me.

Good sound but you cant adjust the volume independently. You have volume control over the soundbar only. Not what I expected from a $600 sub.
