Sup wireless connection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The high pass filter is a bit high for my preference and the wireless technology has some intermittent issues but it's pretty good. Just a little to expensive for what you get.

Ehhhh, good Sub but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Bose BUT there is an issue with the connectivity. Sometimes it does connect and sometimes no. Bose knows about this and are working on it. But nice Sub.

Not good at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start this was my fourth system i have tried I thought I was going to love it but no no no. This sub was so low I could hardly hear the thing had the setting on the sub all the way up and I could hardly hear it, if I put my ear next to it i could hear it was working. If your looking for a bar and sub package that sounds great and bass that hits do not get this system. Between the huge remot that did not work with any of my devices lack of sound on sub and bar lack of settings this package is overpriced and not worth it. If you still decide to get these two you will have a heck of a time getting it set up because there is no menu with this thing you will be hitting buttons on the remote and weighting to see flashing lights turn on when it works or go amber when it's not connected. It does have an app you can use to change center volume output and go to radio and music apps but that's it there are also no kind of presets. I would 100 percent recommend the Sonos sound system fast step by step setup with a smart phone or tab because there is no remote and loud as heck and when the sub hits you feel and hear it, the thing hits hard I had to turn it only a quarter the way up. The system is the same price

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why a weird title for the review of a sub-woofer? Because the Bose Acoustimass 300 is the perfect companion for the Soundtouch 300 soundbar which I reviewed recently. I'm not even sure it works with anything else. But together they can replace most of - if not any - home theater setup because they not only create a convincing and immersive surround effect but it makes you feel you are at a cinema room. It adds a much deeper base to the soundbar which was the first ever to impress me. Although it still requires power, it easily connects wireless to the Soundbar. I did have a few minor complaints about its companion - the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar - but I could not find any flaws with this sub-woofer. The only issue was that it took 3 tries to pair with the soundbar but it is possible that I was not holding the remote key for as long as I should have. It sounds impressive with no noticeable distortions, it has a stunning glossy black finish that may attract smudge but you won't need to be touching it so I don't see that as a problem. This pair will likely be enough for most people but I believe you can make it even more impressive if you add two compatible wireless speakers to be placed behind you which could potentially enhance the already superb surround feeling but I haven't tried them yet. All I can say is that if you already have the SoundTouch 300 soundbar, you will not regret adding this sub-woofer.

Excellent Bass Module! Highly Recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been humbled – and now must eat my own words. I previously wrote a very positive review for the Bose Soundtouch 300 Soundbar, and included the following words, “You can add an optional wireless bass module and wireless surround speakers to achieve a full 5.1 home theater experience. Having said that, I am more than satisfied with all aspects of the sound without the optional components.” True – the Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar is an exceptional product and delivers excellent sound without the optional components. And, I honestly believe it's the best soundbar available. However, now that I have added the optional Bose Acoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module, I must change my tune. I can no longer say, “I am more than satisfied with all aspects of the sound without the optional components.” Now that I have added the Acoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module, my listening experience has become so much more enriched that I cannot imagine being satisfied with just the SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. And, let me tell you why... The Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is unlike your typical bass subwoofer. You don't just hear the sound, you feel the sound. The sound feels like it's coming at you from all directions vs. just a single fixed point. This is due to the “quietport” technology used by Bose in the bass module (“quietport” technology is also used in the soundbar for similar sound delivery). In addition, your typical subwoofer is usually designed to optimize sound for either movies or music. I won't go into the technical and physical properties of the two typical subwoofer types. But, I will go straight to the bottom-line: the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module performs excellently with both movies and music. The end-result is a bass module which adds a whole other dimension to your listening experience. When playing movies or watching TV, regardless if I was watching an action movie, football game, or other, the Acoustimass 300 made movie sound effects feel as though they were happening in my living room, and made me feel I was on the football field as one football player tackled another football player. And, for music, the bass module provides a solid, bottom-end of deep bass sound – regardless of the type of music. I listened to everything from acoustic guitar instrumental to pop/rock to jazz to classical to EDM (electronic dance music) to see if the Acoustimass 300 performed as expected – and it did in every scenario. Obviously, the sound of the Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is what I was most concerned with. But, I would like to mention that this product is built well and looks great. You can place it anywhere you wish to put it in your room. And connecting it to the SoundTouch 300 soundbar is a breeze – simply plug it into an electrical outlet, turn it on, use the remote provided with the SoundTouch 300 to pair it to the soundbar, and used the ADAPTIQ headset (provided with the soundbar) to perform audio calibration. All done in less than five minutes. The bottom-line: The Bose Acoustimass 300 Bass Module is an excellent addition to the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar. I highly recommend the purchase of both products. As I found out, the listening experience becomes so enriched and full when both products are in use together.

Yes, It really is All About the Bass!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're reading this review, then you may already own the Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar, and you are interested in what Bose has to offer in the lower end of the audio frequency. This is where the Bose Acoustimass 300 comes in. The Bose Acoustimass 300 wireless bass module is an accessory item to and will only work with the Bose Soundtouch 300. While the bass on the Soundtouch 300 is powerful, the addition of the Acoustimass 300 bass module will impress you with its deep, tight, dynamic, thunderous, and floor vibrating richness. I was amazed at the output of the unit. It felt like I was sitting in a movie theater as I felt the vibrations of the bass through my wood floors and in my body. Having this bass module put new life into my movie and music collection. The thunderous bass from the unit simply has no equal. This thing is a heavyweight figuratively and literally. It weighs 30 pounds! Note that if the bass is too powerful for your needs, the amount of bass can be adjusted with the same adjustments as with the soundbar. The Acoustimass 300 looks as equally impressive as it sounds. The unit blends in perfectly with the Soundtouch 300 soundbar, and it sports the same luxurious glossy tempered glass top. I could go on and on about how impressive this bass module is, but I think that once you hear and feel it, you will come to the same conclusion. It easily exceeds a five star rating!

High Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon receiving the Acoustimass 300, I was immediately impressed by the size and overall look of the item. It was fairly compact for such a powerful item which makes it more useable. I loved the fact that it looks great with the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar as it makes for a very polished look. The setup was easy and I liked the fact that it connects wirelessly to the soundbar as that is much more appealing to me that multiple wires all over the place. Upon first use I was hooked. The sound quality is stunning! The bass that is provided amplifies your viewing experience in everyway possible. It enhances tv, movies, video streaming in every way possible. There is nothing about this item to complain about as it gives you that perfect movie/entertainment going experience. I think Bose has really outdone themselves with this one. A huge hit with our home.

Expected great but sadly dissappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.sounded great in store but once home, could not get it connected to sound bar, had to call Bose support to finally got it working, it supposed to be new to market but was sent out missing updates which was the reason this would not connect to sound bar. Really Bose?? for 700 dollar price tag it should be ready to go! even now after setup you can hardly even tell if its working, if we could return it we would

Great addition to soundbar & speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recommend buying this along with the soundbar. It sounds better with the soundbar and additional speakers. It is a home theater setup, so it’s always a plus to make sure you can at least buy the base if you do not get the additional speakers. This base has a punch, very similar to a subwoofer. You can adjust the base with the Bose controller that comes with the soundbar. I’ve had this for years now, still works as new.

Not worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Earth-shaking bass, but only on super-low notes. Everyday music, movies, TV shows, it feels like there's absolutely no low-end, even with the accompanying soundbar set to the max bass level. Expected much more for the price paid and prestige that comes with brand name. Very disappointed.

Sounds good - set up was terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original Acoustimass 300 wireless unit would not connect to the Soundbar 300 even after several hours of trying to get it to work. And Best Buy would not help us. We finally talked directly to Bose and after trying everything they suggested for 3 hours, they sent us another unit. Once we received the new unit, the connection worked, but it was anything but a smooth process.

Outstanding addition to Bose Soundtouch 300
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have a Bose Soundtouch 300 Soundbar and want the type of bass that shakes the room, this is the perfect subwoofer for you. Just like the soundbar, no matter how loud you turn it up, it doesn't distort. The sound adjusts to the volume and adapts so that the speakers don't distort and blow out. The deep bass that this provides is incredible compared to other subwoofers that are attached to soundbars. The unit itself looks like a piece of furniture with it's black color and sleek black glass top. It is a beautiful looking subwoofer and in my opinion something you should absolutely look into if you have the soundbar. It is a wireless connection and the soundbar and sub find each other almost instantly when turned on. Overall, the soundbar has decent bass on it's own considering it's size. But if you want the true Bose experience, you need this subwoofer. It's not cheap, but quality rarely is.

Unfortunate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really hoping that Bose was going to be everything it was supposed to be. Unfortunately huge let down. I was trying to use it with a projector so maybe if it were for a regular tv things would of worked out. Good luck. Hope you're experience is better than mine. Best Buy salesman were amazing and helped me fine what I needed. Respect, Don

This is the best ever Acoustimass I have ever seen
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best ever Acoustimass I have ever seen. I just could not think anything negative about this product! Very easy and quick setup No wires around It is the heaviest module! 30lb..which is producing a stable bass effect with out any vibrations Very much suitable for apartment living as it did not pass on the vibration to other apt even with higher volume as it is well blended with adaptiq design.. And the sound quality is just amazing and rich!!! Looks so good, decorative.. We don't have to worry about kids throwing stuffs in to woofer holes.. this module is well designed to avoid that... This is greatest compliment to the sound bar 300...
