This subwoofer is a very nice addition to the Soundbar. I was Leary of the subwoofer because my experience with them are that they are boomy. This one is not. very subtle . I love the fact that it is wireless. Blue tooth enabled to sound bar. Setting up was a breeze. It has base in background but you can still hear what is being said or sang. Crystal clear. I will definately tell my friends about this product. Everything is so sleek.

This thing is awesome - the bass it emits is quite something. Very cool in action movies, etc... I paired this with the Bose soundbar and it is a wonderful combo. Highly recommended.

we bought this on store recommendation however very disappointed. paired with TV it is really disappointing as we expect great sound quality

Not user friendly - no idea how to set up base. All your told is to down load the app - still have not been able to adjust quality to my liking.

I wrote a review on the bose site for this same product and had to change my review on this site because after reading other peoples reviews I figured out why I couldn't hear the base! Since I figured that out it sounds so awesome!!!! I'm so glad I figured it out! Below is my review for the Bose site! Everything else absolutely dead on about this product!! I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to review the soundtouch bar first, which was such an amazing product. Then I was given the opportunity to review it's partner, the acoustimass 300. This product was very properly packaged with simple instruction on how to remove it from the box. This product is a about a good 30 lbs and has a very sleek look to match the soundtouch bar with the glass top. The remote for the soundtouch bar is used to pair the two together and seemed like easy instructions, which I followed, but I didn't get the base sound that I wanted from my experience. Maybe the one I received was defective or maybe it was me. I will never give bose a bad review though because I have always owned bose products and they have never failed. I have owned the cinemate 15 system and that sound was amazing! I look forward for more opportunities with reviewing Bose products! Now that I figured out how to turn on the base and turn up the volume to it it so great!!!

The addition of the Acoustimass 300 was an excellent decision! With the stand-alone soundbar, which did sound great on its own, I had vibrations (of items on the stand) from the bass it produced. Once the Acoustimass 300 was added, those vibrations ceased and we had much richer deep tones with our TV watching experience. Because of the wireless connection ability, set up was pretty easy. However, I did have to access the online manual for better detail than the quick set up guide that came with the sub. That wasn't a big deal because it gave me much more insight on other operations. For instance, the amount of bass can be adjusted from the remote rather than having to pull out the module and adjust from behind. When watching programs where hearing voices is more important (like the news), there is a dedicated button that really sends voices to the front of the sound. The look of the module is very nice as well. It's almost less than a foot square, and is kind of sexy in appearance. It is not huge with a big hole in the front like the older modules. Really, that's all there is to it. For richer, more deep tones, this is a great addition to the SoundTouch 300.

I already reviewed this product years ago and must say it is still working perfectly since 2018 and sounds amazing. The sub never misses a beat and is super loud if you want it to be. I love my Bose products and after all these years of daily abuse, the quality shows.

Supposed to be wireless. Has wires not worth the money. I was only upgrading.

This base system made the sound system worse. Sound was not clear at all

I have never had such a great sounding set up in my life. The bass module added to the soundbar is amazing. You can actually feel the bass. My teenage son also loves it. I definitely would recommend bose to friends. The design is also a plus, it looks great.

The soundbar would shut off by itself after playing about 2 hrs.

Bose Acoustimass 300 bass module has worked flawlessly for us for last 5 years. It came in really handy during COVID when we had to stream all our movies.

This subwoofer blew me away with the quality of sound coming from it. It doesn't miss a beat the highs and lows are crisp and clear. You can literally feel the movies and music. It has taken my movie watching enjoyment to a new dimension. This subwoofer feels my home with great sound at the highest quality. This is a must for completing a BOSE home entertainment system.

As what my topic. No idea why they make this stuff.

I will start by saying bass is not what Bose is known for by consumers. While most of their products sound very good in mid to high range, powerful bass has been lacking in many products. This is not the case with this sub, it actually has serious punch and resonance.I am very surprised and please with this product.

The sound that is put out from this bass module is actually quite good (as you would expect from Bose). I set it up with the SoundTouch 300 sound bar, and fortunately this part of the set up was much smoother (the sound bar was a different story). I do wish the size of it was a little more compact, it weighs about 30lbs.

Let me start by saying that this bass module is pretty perfect for what I was looking for. I had been using the soundtouch bar and while it does have various bass level settings I wanted to try a sub woofer that would make my movies at home feel more like I was in the theater enjoying them again. Since my soundtouch worked out so nicely I decided to stay within the Bose family and try the module since it was built specifically for a situation like this. The setup is very similar to what you had to do when you setup the soundtouch bar, the system will prompt you to sit in 5 different seating areas of the room that you're setting up so that it can customize the experience to the room (something that is very smart considering not all rooms are the same size, have the same object between you and speakers, have different wall material, etc..). Once I got everything setup I tested the speakers with a Lord of the Rings marathon (no Hobbit movies were involved in this test ;) ) and the sound did not disappoint. At some intense parts I could feel the vibrations from the module which added to the movie experience. After the short marathon and I played some pop music with heavy bass and it was even better than I expected. The music really popped without being overpowered. Overall I am very satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend you get it to accompany your soundtouch bar. Also it's a classic Bose product so it looks great and does not draw too much attention to it.

...And looks GREAT doing it I have been using the SoundTouch 300 sound bar for about a month or so, and I am completely and totally in love with it. I really didn't think it could get any better until I added this little beauty. First things first, this is a solid unit. You can really feel the quality in both this, and the sound bar, but this has some serious weight to it, like a good sub should. Once I got it out of the box, I was so excited to get it hooked up. I plugged in it, and fired up AdaptIQ on my SoundTouch 300. I was paired, and up and running in under 30 minutes from opening the box to completing AdaptIQ. I put on a few movie trailers, cranked up the volume and sat back. The first explosion hit, and *woah!!! - the floor is shaking. The next one hits, and holy cow, I'm immersed in the middle of the action. Not only does this deliver a depth to your music and movies that you can hear, but it brings another dimension that you can actually feel. When a door closes, there's a (the only way I can describe this sound..) "whump" as if you were right there in the room and you can feel the air moved by the door swinging shut. When a helicopter is flying around, you can feel the blades chopping at the air and it resonates so well. This unit blends in great with every day sounds. It doesn't over power things, and only comes out to play when called upon. When it is called upon, though, it's a heavy-hitter. I have never experienced an Acoustimass module with this kind of dynamic range. All without an ounce of distortion. It has to be heard to be believed. I can not say enough good things about this. It's absolutely deeper, smoother, an more powerful than you can ever imagine. Music is stellar, too. Kick drums you can feel in your chest, bass that feels like you're in a club or concert, etc.. My family isn't as passionate as I am about sound equipment, and even they don't want to stop listening to this sound bar since I added the Acoustimass 300. Well done, Bose. Well done!
